repentance_n or_o a_o pardon_n obtain_v through_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n here_o before_o you_o be_v present_v at_o that_o judgment-seat_n oh_o then_o what_o a_o bridle_n shall_v this_o text_n be_v to_o thy_o extravagant_a tongue_n i_o remember_v hierom_n be_v wont_a to_o say_v whether_o i_o eat_v or_o drink_v or_o whatever_o i_o do_v methinks_v i_o still_o hear_v the_o sound_n of_o these_o word_n in_o my_o ear_n arise_v you_o dead_a and_o come_v to_o judgement_n o_o that_o the_o sound_n of_o the_o word_n may_v be_v always_o in_o your_o ear_n help_n 2._o consider_v before_o you_o speak_v and_o be_v not_o rash_a to_o utter_v word_n without_o knowledge_n he_o th●●_n speak_v what_o he_o think_v not_o speak_v hipocitical_o 〈◊〉_d he_o that_o think_v not_o what_o to_o speak_v speak_v inconsiderate_o you_o have_v cause_n to_o weigh_v your_o word_n before_o you_o deliver_v they_o by_o your_o tongue_n for_o whether_o you_o do_v or_o do_v not_o the_o lord_n ponder_v they_o record_n be_v keep_v of_o they_o else_o you_o can_v not_o be_v call_v to_o a_o account_n for_o they_o as_o i_o show_v you_o you_o must_v help_n 3._o resign_v up_o your_o tongue_n to_o god_n every_o day_n and_o beg_v he_o to_o guide_v and_o keep_v it_o so_o do_v david_n psal._n 141._o 3._o set_a a_o watch_n o_o lord_n before_o my_o mouth_n and_o keep_v thou_o the_o door_n of_o my_o lip_n beg_v he_o to_o keep_v you_o from_o provocation_n and_o temptation_n or_o if_o you_o fall_v into_o they_o entreat_v he_o for_o strength_n to_o rule_v your_o spirit_n in_o they_o that_o you_o may_v not_o be_v conquer_v by_o temptation_n help_n 4._o but_o above_o all_o labour_v to_o get_v your_o soul_n cleanse_v and_o purify_v by_o faith_n possess_v with_o save_v and_o gracious_a principle_n all_o other_o mean_n will_v be_v ineffectual_a without_o this_o oh_o see_v the_o vileness_n of_o thy_o nature_n and_o the_o necessity_n of_o a_o change_n to_o pass_v upon_o it_o first_o make_v the_o tree_n good_a and_o then_o his_o fruit_n good_a a_o new_a nature_n will_v produce_v new_a word_n and_o action_n to_o bind_v your_o soul_n with_o vow_n and_o resolution_n while_o you_o be_v stranger_n to_o a_o regenerate_a work_n
