Of John Rogers, in his un-christian concertation with Mr. Prynne, and others. 2. Of M: Nedham, in his Interest will not lie. thereupon_o forfeit_v his_o kingship_n and_o crown_n and_o become_v a_o private_a person_n and_o enemy_n dissolve_v the_o constitution_n both_o of_o the_o kingdom_n and_o parliament_n and_o not_o only_o violate_v all_o law_n in_o the_o branch_n but_o pluck_v up_o the_o very_a root_n of_o it_o in_o destroy_v the_o parliamentary_a establishment_n as_o much_o as_o in_o he_o lay_v and_o thereby_o introduce_v another_o law_n of_o arm_n from_o whence_o he_o deduce_v 3._o conclusion_n 1_o the_o justice_n of_o seclude_v the_o member_n 2_o the_o sufficiency_n of_o the_o authority_n that_o condemn_v behead_v and_o other_o member_n and_o lord_n seclusion_n descend_v and_o be_v transmit_v to_o they_o by_o the_o law_n of_o war_n for_o the_o people_n this_o he_o determine_v to_o be_v law_n and_o reason_n too_o sufficient_a to_o convince_v both_o royalist_n and_o presbyterian_n of_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o the_o power_n and_o present_a sit_v act_v as_o a_o parliament_n by_o those_o few_o member_n at_o westminster_n seclude_v all_o the_o rest_n to_o which_o i_o answer_v 1._o that_o if_o the_o king_n death_n by_o law_n reason_n dissolve_v the_o parliament_n in_o a_o orderly_a cause_n because_o his_o writ_n of_o summons_n abate_v by_o his_o death_n and_o they_o can_v not_o treat_v with_o he_o concerning_o his_o and_o his_o kingdom_n affair_n nor_o he_o consent_v to_o any_o bill_n after_o his_o decease_n which_o he_o free_o grant_v then_o by_o the_o selfsame_a reason_n law_n his_o violent_a death_n must_v dissolve_v this_o parliament_n as_o i_o have_v large_o prove_v 2_o if_o the_o king_n levy_v war_n against_o the_o parliament_n do_v actual_o dissolve_v the_o very_a constitution_n law_n of_o the_o parliament_n and_o kingdom_n and_o make_v he_o no_o king_n at_o all_o but_o a_o private_a person_n which_o he_o lay_v for_o his_o foundation_n then_o it_o must_v necessary_o dissolve_v the_o parliament_n and_o kingdom_n too_o and_o make_v they_o no_o parliament_n no_o kingdom_n at_o all_o as_o well_o as_o himself_o no_o king_n for_o how_o can_v the_o parliament_n continue_v when_o its_o very_a constitution_n be_v dissolve_v 3_o by_o this_o position_n it_o inevitable_o follow_v that_o we_o have_v neither_o king_n parliament_n kingdom_n nor_o any_o law_n at_o all_o but_o only_o of_o war_n from_o the_o beginning_n of_o the_o war_n or_o first_o battle_n
