c_o r_o diev_n et_fw-fr mon_fw-fr droit_n honi_fw-fr soit_fw-fr qvi_fw-fr mal_fw-fr y_fw-fr pense_fw-fr ¶_o by_o the_o king_n ¶_o a_o proclamation_n declare_v the_o king_n royal_a pleasure_n for_o the_o assemble_v of_o the_o parliament_n whereas_o for_o many_o most_o important_a cause_n we_o have_v resolve_v to_o assemble_v our_o high_a court_n of_o parliament_n and_o to_o that_o purpose_n have_v already_o send_v forth_o our_o writ_n to_o summon_v the_o same_o and_o have_v appoint_v the_o day_n of_o that_o great_a assembly_n to_o be_v upon_o the_o seventeenth_o day_n of_o march_n now_o next_o come_n and_o whereas_o for_o the_o timely_a prepare_v and_o set_v to_o sea_n of_o a_o powerful_a navy_n we_o have_v direct_v our_o letter_n to_o be_v send_v unto_o all_o the_o county_n city_n and_o corporate_a town_n of_o this_o our_o realm_n and_o our_o privy_a seal_n to_o diver_n particular_a person_n thereby_o acquaint_v they_o with_o the_o necessity_n of_o those_o preparation_n for_o our_o just_a defence_n against_o our_o potent_a enemy_n who_o have_v strong_o combine_v themselves_o against_o we_o and_o our_o friend_n and_o ally_n and_o therefore_o require_v their_o cheerful_a and_o speedy_a aid_n in_o a_o case_n of_o such_o infinite_a importance_n we_o have_v serious_o weigh_v these_o thing_n with_o all_o the_o due_a circumstance_n thereof_o know_v that_o delay_n in_o matter_n of_o this_o quality_n and_o consequence_n may_v destroy_v the_o work_n and_o that_o the_o opportunity_n of_o time_n once_o lose_v be_v irrecoverable_a have_v therefore_o determine_v to_o stay_v the_o execution_n and_o send_v forth_o of_o those_o letter_n and_o also_o of_o the_o privy_a seal_n except_o to_o stranger_n only_o and_o whole_o to_o rely_v upon_o the_o love_n of_o our_o peope_n in_o parliament_n and_o not_o to_o defer_v their_o assemble_v for_o this_o or_o any_o other_o occasion_n beyond_o the_o say_v first_o day_n for_o that_o purpose_n appoint_v and_o because_o there_o may_v be_v no_o mistake_v or_o misunderstand_v of_o we_o or_o of_o our_o resolution_n herein_o we_o have_v think_v fit_a by_o the_o advice_n of_o our_o privy_a council_n by_o this_o our_o royal_a proclamation_n to_o publish_v the_o same_o hereby_o require_v the_o member_n of_o both_o the_o house_n of_o parliament_n who_o be_v to_o be_v the_o great_a council_n of_o we_o and_o our_o kingdom_n not_o to_o fail_v of_o their_o attendance_n upon_o the_o say_v seventeenth_o day_n of_o march_n now_o next_o ensue_v lest_o be_v mislead_v by_o rumour_n of_o prorogue_v of_o the_o parliament_n unto_o a_o further_a day_n or_o for_o any_o other_o respect_n the_o public_a service_n of_o the_o kingdom_n wherein_o we_o and_o our_o people_n have_v so_o great_a a_o interest_n may_v suffer_v by_o their_o neglect_n give_v at_o our_o court_n at_o white-hall_n the_o sixteenth_o day_n of_o february_n in_o the_o three_o year_n of_o our_o reign_n of_o great_a britain_n france_n and_o ireland_n god_n save_o the_o king_n ¶_o imprint_v at_o london_n by_o bonham_n norton_n and_o john_n bill_n printer_n to_o the_o king_n most_o excellent_a majesty_n m.dc.xxvii_o
