physician_n than_o surgeon_n have_v for_o surgeon_n do_v and_o mâ—y_a by_o the_o privilege_n of_o their_o art_n and_o call_v operate_v without_o any_o dependence_n upon_o physician_n and_o need_v not_o nor_o be_v they_o bind_v and_o tie_v to_o call_v for_o any_o physician_n but_o if_o they_o please_v whereas_o a_o apothecary_n qua_fw-la talis_fw-la neither_o ought_v nor_o can_v administer_v physic_n without_o the_o advice_n of_o a_o physician_n and_o the_o dispensatorie_a art_n in_o the_o practice_n thereof_o absolute_o depend_v upon_o the_o physician_n recept_n so_o that_o with_o all_o deference_n and_o respect_n to_o the_o physic_n ans_fw-fr the_o surgeon_n have_v just_a reason_n to_o suspect_v that_o they_o will_v be_v more_o favourable_a in_o their_o opinion_n to_o the_o apothecary_n and_o ready_a and_o willing_a to_o enlarge_v their_o privilege_n who_o have_v so_o absolute_a a_o dependence_n upon_o they_o and_o it_o be_v notour_n and_o know_v that_o the_o physician_n have_v frequent_o endeavour_v to_o erect_v themselves_o in_o a_o college_n and_o to_o extend_v their_o own_o privilege_n to_o the_o impair_v of_o both_o and_o therein_o they_o have_v be_v still_o oppose_v by_o the_o surgeon_n and_o chirurgeon_n appothecary_n and_o thereupon_o may_v be_v presume_v to_o bear_v the_o supplicant_n no_o good_a will_n crave_v that_o the_o say_n lord_n will_v be_v please_v to_o consider_v the_o ground_n of_o the_o supplicant_n declarator_n in_o jure_fw-la as_o the_o samen_n be_v found_v upon_o their_o seal_n or_o cause_n gift_n grant_n and_o act_n and_o their_o probation_n of_o the_o contravention_n by_o oath_n and_o the_o separate_n of_o the_o trade_n and_o incorporation_n of_o chirurgery_n and_o pharmacy_n the_o say_n lord_n declare_v they_o will_v thereafter_o hear_v both_o party_n thereupon_o and_o thereafter_o there_o be_v a_o other_o supplication_n give_v in_o to_o the_o say_n lord_n in_o behalf_n of_o the_o say_a surgeon_n show_v that_o although_o the_o petitioner_n do_v not_o contravert_v but_o that_o if_o the_o matter_n concern_v the_o cerecloath_n have_v not_o be_v decide_v by_o the_o town_n of_o edinburgh_n there_o may_v have_v pretence_n of_o the_o say_a nommiation_n to_o accept_v or_o to_o act_v in_o any_o such_o capacity_n he_o be_v by_o the_o foresay_a decreet_a of_o declarator_n altogether_o incapable_a to_o sit_v and_o meet_v at_o the_o table_n of_o the_o apothecary_n but_o only_o at_o the_o table_n of_o the_o surgeon_n which_o supplication_n and_o desire_n thereof_o be_v consider_v by_o the_o said_n lord_n they_o
