present_o convene_v by_o his_o majesty_n special_a authority_n consider_v that_o the_o office_n of_o archbishop_n bishop_n archdeane_n dean_n and_o other_o the_o member_n of_o their_o chapter_n be_v now_o abolish_v out_o of_o this_o church_fw-mi and_o kingdom_n and_o herewith_o also_o take_v to_o their_o consideration_n that_o there_o be_v sundry_a nobleman_n gentleman_n and_o other_o within_o this_o realm_n who_o hold_v their_o land_n of_o the_o say_n archbishop_n bishop_n archdeane_n dean_n and_o other_o member_n of_o chapter_n who_o be_v now_o abolish_v forth_o of_o this_o church_fw-mi and_o kingdom_n as_o say_v be_v for_o payment_n of_o certain_a yearly_a few_o duty_n and_o fulfil_v of_o certain_a clause_n irritant_fw-la and_o perform_v of_o other_o condition_n contain_v in_o their_o infeftment_n take_v and_o right_n and_o who_o not_o know_v to_o who_o they_o shall_v now_o pay_v their_o say_n duty_n and_o fulfil_v the_o other_o condition_n of_o their_o infeftment_n and_o right_n may_v be_v prejudge_v by_o incur_v of_o the_o failÈie_n and_o danger_n of_o the_o clause_n irritant_fw-la of_o their_o say_n right_n for_o not_o payment_n of_o their_o few_o and_o other_o duty_n therein_o specify_v and_o by_o the_o incur_v of_o the_o certification_n contain_v in_o the_o act_n of_o parliament_n set_v down_o anent_o the_o payment_n by_o vassal_n of_o their_o few_o duty_n to_o their_o superior_n the_o say_n estate_n for_o remee_v hereof_o and_o for_o eschew_v of_o the_o prejudice_n and_o danger_n that_o may_v come_v hereby_o find_v and_o declare_v that_o these_o nobleman_n gentleman_n and_o other_o who_o by_o their_o infeftment_n take_v and_o right_n be_v adebt_v in_o payment_n of_o few_o and_o take_v duty_n or_o oblisht_v in_o fulfil_v of_o any_o other_o condition_n to_o the_o say_n archbishop_n bishop_n archdeane_n dean_n or_o other_o benefice_a person_n member_n of_o their_o chapter_n now_o abolish_v as_o say_v be_v be_v not_o and_o shall_v not_o be_v in_o mora_fw-la for_o not_o payment_n of_o their_o say_n duty_n and_o not_o fulfil_v of_o the_o other_o condition_n of_o their_o right_n and_o that_o the_o clause_n irritant_fw-la of_o their_o infestment_n take_v and_o other_o right_n shall_v not_o run_v against_o they_o nor_o yet_o the_o certification_n of_o the_o say_n act_n of_o parliament_n militat_fw-la against_o they_o for_o not_o payment_n of_o their_o say_n duty_n and_o not_o fulfil_v of_o the_o other_o clause_n of_o the_o right_n during_o the_o interval_n of_o time_n betwixt_o the_o first_o day_n of_o april_n 1638._o year_n and_o sensyne_fw-gr and_o in_o time_n come_v while_o order_n be_v take_v by_o the_o estate_n of_o parliament_n anent_o the_o way_n and_o manner_n of_o payment_n of_o the_o foresaid_n few_o and_o other_o duty_n for_o the_o said_z nobleman_n gentleman_n and_o other_o foresaid_n their_o security_n for_o the_o payment_n thereof_o and_o while_o the_o same_o order_n so_o to_o be_v take_v by_o the_o estate_n hereanent_fw-la be_v public_o notify_v to_o all_o the_o liege_n notwithstanding_o of_o any_o clause_n irritant_fw-la contain_v in_o the_o foresaids_n infeftment_n and_o right_n and_o notwithstanding_o of_o the_o certification_n of_o the_o act_n of_o parliament_n set_v down_o against_o these_o who_o pay_v not_o their_o few_o duty_n to_o their_o superior_n act_z xxiiii_o anent_o vassal_n of_o erection_n that_o they_o be_v not_o subject_a in_o double_a payment_n nor_o the_o superior_n defraud_v of_o their_o few_o duty_n the_o estate_n of_o parliament_n convene_v by_o his_o majesty_n special_a authority_n consider_v that_o whereas_o by_o the_o general_a surrender_n of_o kirke_n land_n and_o erection_n make_v by_o the_o superior_n and_o titular_o thereof_o in_o favour_n of_o the_o king_n majesty_n it_o be_v special_o provide_v that_o the_o said_n superior_n and_o titular_o notwithstanding_o their_o surrender_n foresay_a shall_v have_v right_a to_o the_o few-fermes_a and_o duty_n of_o the_o vassal_n and_o fewars_n of_o the_o say_v kirk_n land_n and_o erection_n till_o the_o king_n majesty_n make_v payment_n to_o they_o of_o the_o price_n of_o the_o say_v few-firmes_a and_o duty_n modify_v by_o the_o lord_n and_o other_o of_o the_o commission_n for_o surrender_n and_o teind_n and_o siclike_o the_o fewars_n
