upon_o these_o and_o other_o important_a consideration_n it_o shall_v be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o every_o one_o who_o dwell_v in_o the_o land_n to_o take_v heed_n of_o such_o a_o temptation_n and_o snare_n that_o they_o be_v not_o accessary_a to_o any_o such_o design_n or_o endeavour_n as_o they_o will_v not_o bring_v upon_o themselves_o and_o upon_o their_o family_n the_o guilt_n of_o all_o the_o detriment_n that_o will_v undoubted_o follow_v thereupon_o to_o religion_n and_o the_o covenant_n and_o of_o all_o the_o misery_n and_o calamity_n that_o it_o will_v bring_v upon_o his_o majesty_n person_n and_o throne_n and_o upon_o these_o kingdom_n such_o a_o thing_n will_v in_o all_o appearance_n be_v the_o undermine_a and_o shake_v if_o not_o the_o overthrow_v and_o destroy_v of_o the_o work_n of_o reformation_n and_o therefore_o whosoever_o attempt_n the_o same_o oppose_v themselves_o to_o the_o cause_n of_o god_n and_o will_v at_o last_o dash_n against_o the_o rock_n of_o the_o lord_n power_n which_o have_v break_v in_o piece_n many_o high_a and_o lofty_a one_o since_o the_o begin_n of_o this_o work_n in_o these_o kingdom_n and_o it_o be_v unto_o we_o a_o sure_a propound_v to_o his_o majesty_n for_o secure_v of_o religion_n after_o many_o turn_n and_o devise_n the_o foundation_n of_o the_o unlawful_a engagement_n be_v at_o last_o lay_v by_o his_o majesty_n and_o agree_v to_o act_n of_o parliament_n enjoin_v the_o solemn_a league_n and_o covenant_n and_o full_o establish_v presbyterial_a government_n the_o directory_n of_o worship_n the_o confession_n of_o faith_n and_o catechism_n as_o they_o be_v approvea_fw-mi by_o the_o general_n assembly_n of_o this_o kirk_n and_o parliament_n of_o this_o kingdom_n in_o all_o his_o majesty_n dominion_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v observe_v these_o in_o his_o own_o practice_n and_o family_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v never_o make_v opposition_n to_o any_o of_o these_o nor_o endeavour_v any_o change_n thereof_o albeit_o the_o league_n and_o covenant_n be_v despise_v by_o that_o prevail_a party_n in_o england_n and_o the_o work_n of_o uniformity_n through_o the_o retardment_n and_o obstruction_n that_o have_v come_v in_o the_o way_n be_v almost_o forget_v by_o these_o kingdom_n yet_o the_o obligation_n of_o that_o covenant_n be_v perpetual_a and_o all_o the_o duty_n contain_v therein_o be_v constant_o to_o be_v mind_v and_o prosecute_v by_o every_o one_o of_o we_o and_o our_o posterity_n according_a to_o their_o place_n and_o station_n and_o therefore_o we_o be_v no_o less_o zealous_o to_o endeavour_v that_o his_o majesty_n may_v establish_v and_o swear_v and_o subscribe_v the_o same_o then_o if_o it_o be_v unanimous_o regard_v and_o stick_v unto_o by_o all_o the_o kingdom_n of_o england_n his_o majeste_n swear_v and_o subscribe_v the_o league_n and_o covenant_n will_v much_o contribute_v for_o the_o security_n of_o religion_n his_o majesty_n happiness_n and_o the_o peace_n the_o counsel_n of_o flesh_n and_o blood_n and_o do_v in_o a_o special_a way_n engage_v themselves_o to_o comply_v and_o seek_v themselves_o and_o their_o own_o thing_n no_o more_o to_o abandon_v the_o counsel_n of_o their_o own_o heart_n and_o not_o to_o rely_v upon_o the_o arm_n of_o flesh_n and_o to_o purge_v judicatories_n and_o army_n from_o profane_a and_o scandalous_a person_n and_o god_n forbid_v that_o they_o shall_v so_o soon_o forget_v or_o neglect_v so_o necessary_a duty_n and_o fall_v again_o unto_o so_o great_a and_o grievous_a transgression_n we_o trust_v that_o they_o
