but_o by_o divers_a record_n and_o act_n of_o parliament_n for_o 25_o ed._n 3._o stat._n of_o provisor_n it_o be_v enact_v that_o such_o person_n as_o obtain_v provision_n or_o collation_n of_o benefice_n from_o rome_n and_o thereupon_o disturb_v the_o presentee_n of_o the_o king_n or_o of_o other_o patron_n of_o holy_a church_n or_o of_o their_o advowees_n the_o say_a provisor_n their_o procurator_n executor_n and_o notary_n shall_v be_v attach_v by_o their_o body_n and_o bring_v in_o to_o answer_v and_o if_o they_o be_v convict_v they_o shall_v abide_v in_o prison_n without_o be_v let_v to_o mainprize_n or_o bail_n or_o otherwise_o deliver_v till_o they_o have_v make_v fine_a and_o ransom_n to_o the_o king_n at_o his_o will_n and_o agree_v to_o the_o party_n that_o shall_v feel_v himself_o grieve_v and_o nevertheless_o before_o they_o be_v deliver_v they_o shall_v make_v full_a renunciation_n and_o find_v surety_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o attempt_v such_o thing_n in_o time_n to_o come_v nor_o sue_v any_o process_n by_o they_o nor_o by_o other_o against_o any_o man_n in_o the_o court_n of_o rome_n nor_o in_o any_o part_n elsewhere_o for_o any_o such_o imprisonment_n or_o renunciation_n nor_o any_o other_o thing_n depend_v of_o they_o and_o in_o the_o same_o year_n it_o be_v enact_v that_o he_o that_o purchase_v a_o provision_n in_o rome_n for_o a_o abbey_n shall_v be_v out_o of_o the_o king_n protection_n and_o any_o man_n may_v do_v with_o he_o as_o with_o the_o king_n enemy_n 25_o ed._n 3._o c._n 22._o 2d_o ed._n 3._o c._n 1._o upon_o the_o grievous_a complaint_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o commons_o in_o parliament_n it_o be_v ordain_v that_o all_o people_n of_o the_o king_n lâ—geance_n of_o what_o condition_n that_o they_o be_v which_o shall_v draw_v any_o out_o of_o the_o realm_n in_o plea_n whereof_o the_o cognizance_n pertain_v to_o the_o king_n court_n or_o of_o thing_n whereof_o judgement_n be_v give_v in_o the_o king_n court_n or_o which_o do_v sue_v in_o any_o other_o court_n to_o defeat_v or_o impeach_v the_o judgement_n give_v in_o the_o king_n court_n if_o they_o appear_v not_o within_o two_o month_n after_o warn_v give_v shall_v be_v put_v out_o of_o the_o king_n protection_n and_o their_o land_n good_n and_o chattle_n forfeit_v to_o the_o king_n and_o their_o body_n wheresoever_o they_o may_v be_v find_v shall_v be_v take_v and_o imprison_v and_o ransom_v at_o the_o king_n will_n 13_o r._n c._n 2._o it_o be_v enact_v that_o if_o any_o do_v accept_v of_o a_o benefice_n of_o holy_a church_n contrary_a to_o this_o provisor_n statute_n and_o that_o due_o prove_v he_o shall_v within_o six_o week_n next_o after_o such_o acceptation_n be_v exile_v and_o banish_v out_o of_o the_o realm_n for_o ever_o and_o his_o land_n and_o tenement_n good_n and_o chattle_n shall_v be_v forfeit_a to_o the_o king_n and_o if_o any_o receive_v any_o such_o person_n banish_v come_v from_o beyond_o the_o sea_n or_o be_v within_o the_o realm_n after_o the_o say_v six_o week_n know_v thereof_o he_o shall_v be_v also_o exile_v and_o banish_v and_o incur_v such_o forfeiture_n as_o afore_o be_v say_v and_o their_o procurator_n notary_n executor_n and_o summoner_n shall_v have_v the_o pain_n and_o forfeiture_n aforesaid_a and_o c._n 3_o it_o be_v ordain_v and_o establish_v that_o if_o any_o man_n bring_v or_o send_v within_o the_o realm_n or_o the_o king_n power_n any_o summons_n sentence_n or_o excommunication_n against_o any_o person_n of_o what_o condition_n that_o he_o be_v for_o the_o cause_n of_o make_v motion_n assent_n or_o execution_n of_o the_o say_a statute_n of_o provisor_n he_o shall_v be_v take_v arrest_v and_o put_v in_o prison_n and_o forfeit_v all_o his_o land_n and_o tenement_n good_n and_o chattel_n for_o ever_o and_o incur_v the_o pain_n of_o life_n and_o of_o member_n and_o if_o a_o prelate_n make_v execution_n of_o such_o summons_n sentence_n or_o excommunication_n that_o his_o temporalty_n be_v take_v and_o abide_v in_o the_o king_n hand_n till_o due_a redress_n and_o correction_n thereof_o be_v make_v and_o if_o any_o person_n of_o less_o estate_n than_o a_o prelate_n of_o what_o condition_n that_o he_o be_v make_v such_o execution_n he_o shall_v be_v take_v arrest_v and_o put_v in_o prison_n and_o have_v imprisonment_n and_o make_v fine_a and_o ransom_n by_o the_o discretion_n of_o the_o king_n council_n 16_o r._n 2._o it_o be_v declare_v that_o the_o crown_n of_o england_n which_o have_v be_v so_o free_a at_o all_o time_n that_o it_o have_v be_v in_o no_o earthly_a subjection_n but_o immediate_o subject_a to_o god_n in_o all_o thing_n touch_v the_o regalty_n of_o the_o same_o crown_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v submit_v to_o the_o pope_n nor_o the_o law_n and_o statute_n of_o the_o realm_n by_o he_o defeat_v and_o avoid_v at_o his_o will_n in_o perpetual_a destruction_n of_o the_o sovereignty_n of_o the_o king_n our_o lord_n his_o crown_n his_o regalty_n and_o of_o all_o his_o realm_n and_o moreover_o the_o commons_o affirm_v that_o the_o thing_n attempt_v by_o the_o pope_n be_v clear_o against_o the_o king_n crown_n and_o his_o regality_n use_v and_o approve_v of_o in_o the_o time_n of_o all_o his_o progenitor_n wherefore_o they_o and_o all_o the_o leige-common_n of_o the_o same_o realm_n will_v stand_v by_o the_o king_n and_o
