be_v one_o thing_n to_o say_v the_o judgement_n of_o many_o be_v commit_v unto_o titus_n and_o a_o other_o thing_n to_o say_v that_z he_o have_v the_o government_n of_o many_o the_o answer_n of_o the_o bishop_n unto_o the_o four_o suppose_a reason_n pertain_v unto_o a_o other_o question_n that_o be_v whether_o ecclesiastical_a person_n aught_o to_o exercise_v civil_a jurisdiction_n whereunto_o partly_o how_o little_a need_n we_o have_v of_o they_o now_o and_o partly_o also_o how_o great_a difference_n there_o be_v between_o we_o and_o they_o of_o the_o name_n of_o metropolitan_a it_o have_v be_v speak_v how_o that_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v call_v the_o chief_a of_o priest_n or_o the_o high_a priest_n or_o bishop_n of_o bishop_n now_o i_o will_v set_v down_o his_o office_n and_o power_n which_o he_o have_v more_o than_o the_o bishop_n in_o the_o council_n of_o antioch_n it_o appear_v that_o the_o bishop_n of_o the_o metropolitan_a 9_o seat_n call_v synod_n &_o propound_v the_o matter_n which_o be_v to_o be_v handle_v etc_n etc_n the_o archbishop_n do_v not_o now_o call_v synod_n but_o the_o prince_n do_v for_o as_o much_o as_o there_o be_v no_o convocation_n without_o a_o parliament_n &_o he_o do_v not_o propound_v the_o matter_n and_o gather_v the_o voice_n but_o a_o other_o choose_v which_o be_v call_v prolocutor_n therefore_o in_o the_o respect_n that_o a_o archb_n assembly_n of_o man_n whereunto_o also_o may_v be_v add_v for_o that_o there_o be_v the_o best_a commodity_n of_o lodging_n &_o of_o vitail_v and_o for_o that_o as_z it_o appear_v in_o other_o counsel_n it_o be_v the_o place_n and_o seat_n of_o the_o empire_n but_o with_o we_o neither_o the_o great_a concourse_n nor_o assembly_n of_o man_n nor_o the_o great_a commodity_n of_o lodging_n and_o vitail_v neither_o yet_o the_o seat_n of_o the_o kingdom_n be_v in_o the_o metropolitan_a city_n therefore_o with_o we_o there_o be_v no_o such_o cause_n of_o a_o metropolitan_a or_o archbishop_n in_o the_o council_n of_o carthage_n hold_v in_o cyprian_n time_n it_o appear_v that_o no_o bishop_n have_v authority_n over_o a_o other_o to_o compel_v a_o other_o or_o to_o condemn_v a_o other_o but_o every_o bishop_n be_v leave_v at_o his_o own_o liberty_n to_o answer_v unto_o god_n and_o to_o make_v his_o account_n unto_o christ_n and_o if_o any_o thing_n be_v do_v against_o any_o bishop_n it_o be_v do_v by_o the_o consent_n of_o all_o the_o bishop_n in_o the_o province_n or_o as_o many_o as_o can_v convenient_o assemble_v therefore_o cyprian_a which_o be_v the_o metropolitan_a bishop_n have_v then_o no_o authority_n over_o the_o rest_n

do_v appertain_v make_v any_o order_v not_o meet_v the_o magistrate_n may_v and_o aught_o to_o hinder_v they_o and_o drive_v they_o to_o better_a for_o so_o much_o as_o the_o civil_a magistrate_n determine_v that_o that_o forthwith_o shall_v be_v hold_v for_o good_a and_o the_o prince_n shall_v be_v forthwith_o compel_v to_o maintain_v and_o set_v forth_o that_o be_v it_o good_a or_o evil_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v prejudice_v by_o those_o that_o think_v otherwise_o but_o for_o so_o much_o as_o we_o have_v m._n doctor_n yet_o of_o this_o judgement_n that_o the_o church_n ceremony_n shall_v be_v ordain_v by_o the_o church_n i_o will_v travail_v no_o further_o in_o this_o matter_n consider_a that_o the_o practice_n of_o this_o church_n common_o be_v to_o refer_v these_o matter_n unto_o the_o ecclesiastical_a person_n only_o this_o be_v the_o difference_n that_o where_o it_o be_v do_v now_o of_o one_o or_o a_o few_o we_o desire_v that_o it_o may_v be_v do_v by_o other_o also_o who_o have_v interest_n in_o that_o behalf_n the_o other_o point_n be_v in_o the_o hundred_o thirty_o and_o eight_o page_n where_o he_o most_o untrue_o and_o slanderous_o charge_v the_o author_n of_o
