send_v king_n as_o you_o hear_v be_v patres_fw-la patriae_fw-la father_n of_o their_o country_n and_o therefore_o subject_n ought_v to_o respect_v they_o with_o a_o filial_a love_n even_o as_o child_n do_v love_v their_o father_n a_o four_o member_n wherein_o this_o honour_n do_v consist_v be_v obedience_n subject_n must_v willing_o and_o ready_o yield_v obedience_n to_o all_o the_o just_a and_o subjection_n but_o they_o must_v also_o give_v they_o obedientian_n jussionis_fw-la a_o obedience_n to_o their_o just_a command_n chrysost._n for_o as_o saint_n chrysost_n 〈◊〉_d observe_v a_o people_n that_o obey_v not_o their_o prince_n be_v like_o to_o they_o that_o have_v no_o prince_n at_o all_o yea_o and_o in_o a_o worse_a estate_n for_o you_o can_v call_v that_o a_o kingdom_n where_o the_o king_n be_v neglect_v and_o his_o law_n not_o observe_v he_o seem_v to_o i_o to_o have_v lose_v his_o kingdom_n polit._n say_v the_o philosopher_n who_o have_v lose_v his_o due_a obedience_n from_o his_o subject_n and_o therefore_o subject_n must_v obey_v their_o prince_n not_o only_o for_o fear_n of_o wrath_n that_o be_v to_o escape_v punishment_n if_o they_o neglect_v their_o duty_n 13.5_o but_o also_o for_o conscience_n sake_n as_o the_o apostle_n teach_v because_o god_n command_v they_o the_o five_o member_n wherein_o this_o honour_n do_v consist_v be_v gratitude_n subject_n be_v bind_v by_o way_n of_o thankfulness_n to_o honour_v their_o prince_n if_o it_o be_v for_o no_o other_o reason_n but_o because_o they_o do_v daily_o enjoy_v the_o benefit_n of_o peace_n prosperity_n and_o protection_n by_o they_o which_o gratitude_n must_v express_v itself_o by_o two_o other_o virtue_n as_o necessary_a as_o itself_o and_o without_o which_o it_o can_v subsist_v and_o they_o be_v these_o disp._n verity_n and_o justice_n verity_n in_o acknowledge_v what_o great_a blessing_n favour_n and_o emolument_n they_o receive_v by_o they_o and_o justice_n in_o endeavour_v to_o make_v satisfaction_n and_o compensation_n for_o they_o and_o for_o this_o cause_n it_o be_v that_o they_o pay_v they_o ten_o subsidy_n custom_n and_o tribute_n without_o which_o not_o the_o king_n only_o but_o the_o kingdom_n also_o
