and_o for_o some_o just_a and_o reasonable_a cause_n to_o be_v show_v and_o allow_v upon_o oath_n before_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o same_o court_n and_o upon_o payment_n of_o such_o cost_v to_o the_o party_n thereby_o delay_v as_o the_o court_n shall_v see_v cause_n to_o tax_v and_o allow_v and_o that_o no_o clerk_n do_v henceforth_o presume_v to_o enter_v any_o continuance_n in_o any_o cause_n say_a lord_n major_n alderman_n and_o commons_o in_o this_o common_a council_n assemble_v and_o by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o same_o that_o no_o bill_n of_o cost_v exceed_v the_o sum_n of_o four_o and_o twenty_o shilling_n for_o the_o trial_n of_o a_o grand_a jury_n cause_n or_o exceed_v the_o sum_n of_o twenty_o two_o shilling_n for_o the_o trial_n of_o a_o petty_a jury_n cause_n shall_v at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o charge_v the_o client_n of_o either_o side_n nevertheless_o it_o shall_v and_o may_v be_v lawful_a for_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o say_a court_n respective_o for_o good_a and_o reasonable_a cause_n show_v to_o they_o respective_o by_o the_o party_n of_o either_o side_n upon_o due_a examination_n of_o the_o circumstance_n of_o the_o case_n in_o the_o presence_n of_o both_o party_n to_o increase_v the_o say_a cost_n of_o suit_n by_o their_o discretion_n by_o a_o special_a rule_n of_o court_n to_o be_v enter_v for_o that_o purpose_n express_v the_o cause_n why_o such_o be_v delay_v and_o the_o prisoner_n by_o the_o extorsion_n of_o the_o say_a sergeant_n and_o yeoman_n oftentimes_o put_v to_o a_o great_a expense_n than_o will_v discharge_v the_o original_a cause_n of_o action_n and_o sometime_o by_o discharge_v person_n by_o they_o due_o arrest_v without_o cause_v the_o action_n wherein_o they_o be_v so_o arrest_v to_o be_v withdraw_v although_o they_o take_v money_n from_o the_o defendant_n sufficient_a to_o do_v the_o same_o with_o and_o sometime_o in_o not_o due_o return_v execution_n by_o they_o execute_v or_o by_o discharge_v person_n take_v in_o execution_n before_o satisfaction_n be_v enter_v upon_o record_n whereby_o the_o say_v person_n be_v oftentimes_o double_o charge_v for_o the_o same_o debt_n be_v it_o therefore_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o sergeant_n and_o yeoman_n of_o the_o say_a sheriff_n and_o every_o of_o they_o shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n and_o at_o all_o time_n hereafter_o make_v due_a return_n into_o the_o say_a sheriff_n court_n of_o all_o the_o precept_n of_o the_o say_a court_n to_o they_o to_o be_v direct_v at_o the_o next_o court_n after_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o same_o year_n or_o be_v marry_v to_o the_o say_a orphan_n belong_v out_o of_o the_o good_n chattel_n right_n and_o credit_n of_o her_o say_a father_n by_o the_o law_n and_o custom_n of_o the_o city_n of_o london_n or_o by_o his_o last_o will_n and_o testament_n or_o otherwise_o and_o if_o it_o shall_v happen_v in_o the_o mean_a time_n before_o the_o say_a money_n shall_v be_v full_o pay_v as_o aforesaid_a that_o the_o say_a orphan_n shall_v die_v and_o depart_v this_o mortal_a life_n then_o if_o the_o say_v s._n d._n t._n g._n w._n g._n and_o j._n y._n or_o any_o of_o they_o their_z or_o any_o of_o their_o executor_n or_o administrator_n do_v and_o shall_v within_o one_o month_n next_o after_o the_o death_n of_o the_o say_a orphan_n pay_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v pay_v into_o the_o court_n aforesaid_a to_o the_o chamberlain_n of_o the_o city_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o time_n be_v the_o sum_n of_o one_o hundred_o pound_n so_o due_a and_o belong_v to_o the_o say_a orphan_n to_o the_o intent_n the_o same_o may_v be_v dispose_v where_o of_o right_a the_o same_o shall_v appertain_v and_o further_o if_o the_o say_v s._n d._n t._n g._n w._n g._n and_o j._n y._n or_o any_o of_o they_o their_z or_o any_o of_o their_o executor_n or_o administrator_n do_v and_o shall_v until_o the_o say_a money_n shall_v be_v full_o pay_v as_o aforesaid_a find_v and_o provide_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v find_v and_o provide_v unto_o the_o say_a orphan_n meat_n drink_v apparel_n linen_n and_o woollen_a and_o all_o other_o necessary_n to_o the_o say_a orphan_n meet_v and_o belong_v and_o do_v not_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n willing_o permit_v or_o suffer_v the_o say_a orphan_n to_o be_v marry_v cloyn_v bind_v apprentice_n or_o by_o any_o other_o way_n or_o mean_n to_o become_v bind_v without_o the_o special_a licence_n and_o consent_n of_o the_o major_a and_o alderman_n of_o the_o city_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o time_n be_v first_o obtain_v and_o if_o it_o shall_v happen_v that_o the_o say_v s._n d._n t._n g._n w._n g._n and_o j._n y._n or_o any_o of_o they_o shall_v die_v and_o depart_v this_o mortal_a life_n or_o grow_v into_o poverty_n or_o insufficiency_n in_o their_o or_o any_o of_o their_o estate_n or_o estate_n before_o the_o say_a money_n shall_v be_v pay_v as_o aforesaid_a then_o if_o the_o say_v s._n d._n t._n g._n w._n g._n and_o j._n y._n or_o any_o of_o they_o their_z or_o any_o of_o their_o executor_n or_o administrator_n do_v and_o shall_v within_o one_o month_n next_o after_o such_o die_a decay_a grow_v into_o poverty_n or_o insufficiency_n in_o their_o or_o any_o of_o their_o estate_n or_o estate_n as_o aforesaid_a bring_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v bring_v into_o the_o court_n aforesaid_a to_o be_v hold_v before_o the_o major_a and_o alderman_n of_o the_o city_n aforesaid_a for_o the_o time_n be_v such_o and_o so_o many_o other_o good_a and_o sufficient_a surety_n and_o surety_n as_o the_o same_o court_n for_o the_o time_n be_v shall_v accept_v then_o the_o say_a orphan_n or_o orphan_n or_o every_o of_o they_o shall_v forfeit_v and_o lose_v three_o shilling_n for_o every_o pound_n due_a or_o to_o be_v due_a unto_o she_o or_o they_o by_o virtue_n of_o any_o orphanage_n or_o custom_n have_v or_o use_v within_o the_o say_a city_n one_o shilling_n of_o the_o say_v three_o shilling_n of_o every_o pound_n to_o go_v or_o to_o be_v to_o the_o use_n of_o the_o chamber_n of_o the_o say_a city_n in_o such_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o be_v aforesaid_a and_o the_o other_o two_o shilling_n so_o forfeit_v of_o every_o pound_n to_o go_v to_o the_o use_n of_o such_o other_o orphan_n or_o orphan_n as_o then_o shall_v remain_v unmarried_a or_o else_o for_o default_n of_o such_o orphan_n or_o orphan_n to_o remain_v to_o the_o next_o of_o the_o kindred_n of_o the_o orphan_n so_o offend_v also_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v ordain_v and_o establish_v by_o authority_n aforesaid_a for_o and_o in_o discharge_n of_o divers_a variance_n contention_n and_o suit_n that_o daily_o heretofore_o have_v and_o hereafter_o may_v ensue_v that_o if_o a_o freeman_n child_n man_n or_o woman_n fortune_n to_o be_v marry_v hereafter_o in_o the_o life_n time_n of_o he_o or_o their_o father_n by_o this_o consent_n and_o not_o full_o advance_v of_o and_o to_o he_o and_o her_o full_a part_n or_o portion_n of_o he_o or_o her_o say_a father_n good_n as_o he_o shall_v be_v worth_a at_o the_o time_n of_o his_o decease_n according_a to_o the_o ancient_a law_n and_o custom_n of_o the_o say_a city_n that_o then_o every_o such_o freeman_n child_n so_o be_v marry_v in_o the_o life_n time_n of_o he_o or_o her_o father_n shall_v be_v to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n disable_v to_o demand_v any_o further_a part_n or_o portion_n of_o he_o or_o her_o father_n good_n after_o the_o decease_n of_o he_o or_o her_o father_n but_o shall_v be_v adjudge_v repute_v or_o take_v to_o be_v full_o advance_v according_a to_o the_o law_n and_o every_o constable_n and_o watchman_n may_v know_v the_o night_n time_n and_o place_n where_o they_o be_v to_o watch_v and_o that_o the_o constable_n on_o the_o day_n before_o his_o watch-night_n or_o the_o beadle_n of_o that_o ward_n do_v warn_v every_o man_n that_o be_v to_o watch_v with_o he_o according_o or_o leave_v notice_n thereof_o in_o write_v at_o the_o house_n of_o every_o such_o man_n
