and_o confidence_n in_o some_o person_n and_o if_o every_o man_n may_v aver_v against_o that_o which_o the_o sheriff_n shall_v do_v than_o justice_n shall_v never_o be_v execute_v but_o shall_v ever_o or_o oftentimes_o be_v delay_v etc._n etc._n and_o yet_o on_o the_o contrary_a for_o that_o sheriff_n and_o their_o officer_n have_v oftentimes_o be_v find_v faulty_a of_o their_o part_n in_o make_v false_a retorne_n to_o the_o king_n writ_n etc._n etc._n the_o which_o may_v arise_v in_o part_n by_o corruption_n and_o in_o part_n through_o their_o negligence_n and_o remissness_n and_o also_o for_o that_o such_o false_a retorne_n be_v and_o be_v oftentimes_o very_o mischievous_a to_o the_o king_n subject_n therefore_o the_o statute_n and_o law_n of_o this_o realm_n have_v in_o some_o of_o his_o suit_n shall_v be_v lose_v or_o his_o person_n charge_v as_o also_o in_o favour_n of_o life_n the_o sheriff_n return_n be_v traverseable_a in_o other_o case_n if_o the_o sheriff_n make_v a_o false_a return_n and_o that_o the_o party_n can_v traverse_v it_o yet_o he_o may_v have_v his_o action_n against_o the_o sheriff_n etc._n etc._n chap._n 43._o the_o sheriff_n return_v in_o some_o case_n shall_v be_v of_o the_o force_n of_o a_o indictment_n although_o by_o the_o statute_n make_v anno_fw-la 9_o h._n 3._o cap._n 29._o and_o 25._o e._n 3._o cap._n 4._o no_o man_n shall_v be_v
