that_o way_n or_o manner_n of_o work_v which_o experience_n teach_v to_o be_v dangerous_a and_o to_o administer_v matter_n of_o stumble_v to_o poor_a soul_n for_o as_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n in_o his_o word_n be_v manifold_a so_o the_o working_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o faithful_a through_o which_o they_o be_v enable_v to_o live_v by_o faith_n be_v manifold_a and_o various_a though_o in_o the_o substance_n all_o agree_v as_o in_o our_o justification_n so_o in_o all_o the_o rest_n one_o be_v enable_v to_o live_v by_o faith_n herein_o from_o such_o a_o principle_n another_o from_o such_o a_o principle_n yea_o the_o same_o person_n look_v upon_o himself_o at_o sundry_a time_n shall_v find_v that_o one_o while_o his_o faith_n spring_v from_o one_o principle_n or_o consideration_n another_o while_n from_o another_o as_o for_o example_n perhaps_o to_o day_n i_o believe_v my_o justification_n and_o go_v on_o believe_v it_o for_o a_o week_n or_o a_o month_n together_o from_o such_o a_o consideration_n as_o this_o viz._n god_n have_v make_v a_o covenant_n with_o i_o in_o his_o son_n and_o this_o be_v unchangeable_a as_o not_o make_v upon_o condition_n of_o my_o obedience_n so_o noâ—_n break_v by_o my_o disobedience_n and_o hence_o i_o believe_v i_o be_o justify_v another_o while_n perhaps_o this_o principle_n be_v not_o so_o lively_a and_o vigorous_a as_o to_o keep_v up_o my_o faith_n but_o then_o another_o do_v it_o as_o this_o god_n justify_v the_o ungodly_a now_o say_v the_o soul_n though_o i_o can_v say_v i_o be_o a_o saint_n yet_o this_o i_o can_v say_v i_o be_o a_o ungodly_a one_o well_o god_n justify_v the_o ungodly_a this_o be_v a_o precious_a truth_n i_o own_v it_o i_o cleave_v to_o it_o i_o be_o a_o themselves_o yet_o do_v they_o sweet_o agree_v in_o the_o main_a all_o lead_v the_o soul_n to_o something_o without_o for_o justification_n and_o true_o this_o premisal_n be_v very_o necessary_a and_o material_a for_o how_o ordinary_a be_v it_o with_o poor_a soul_n if_o so_o be_v their_o faith_n have_v be_v carry_v out_o from_o such_o a_o principle_n and_o they_o hear_v another_o in_o relate_v his_o experience_n have_v be_v carry_v out_o from_o another_o to_o question_v the_o truth_n of_o their_o own_o at_o least_o to_o have_v some_o jealousy_n about_o it_o yea_o some_o poor_a soul_n be_v sometime_o ready_a to_o stagger_v when_o they_o look_v upon_o themselves_o and_o consider_v the_o last_o month_n or_o the_o last_o year_n i_o have_v much_o strength_n and_o ability_n to_o believe_v from_o such_o a_o
certain_a ground_n to_o conclude_v thou_o be_v none_o of_o they_o why_o shall_v thou_o refuse_v reason_n say_v why_o not_o thou_o but_o now_o a_o soul_n that_o live_v by_o faith_n that_o live_v above_o reason_n when_o it_o can_v see_v nothing_o in_o reason_n to_o believe_v what_o be_v there_o in_o reason_n for_o abraham_n to_o ground_v his_o faith_n upon_o when_o he_o be_v a_o hundred_o year_n old_a that_o he_o shall_v have_v a_o child_n and_o the_o three_o child_n when_o go_v to_o the_o fiery_a furnace_n to_o say_v our_o god_n will_v deliver_v we_o i'faith_o out-mounts_a reason_n believe_v to_o hang_v upon_o it_o differen_n 7._o the_o life_n of_o faith_n reason_v itself_o in_o all_o its_o reason_n to_o god_n the_o life_n of_o sense_n reason_v itself_o from_o god_n there_o be_v no_o great_a difference_n between_o a_o man_n that_o live_v by_o faith_n and_o sense_n than_o in_o the_o reason_n take_v a_o soul_n that_o live_v by_o faith_n lay_v what_o premise_n you_o will_v before_o he_o yet_o he_o will_v draw_v up_o argument_n to_o draw_v himself_o too_o god_n tell_v he_o his_o sin_n be_v great_a o_o then_o mercy_n will_v be_v great_a in_o pardon_v they_o pardon_v my_o will_v from_o all_o reason_n himself_o from_o god_n differen_n 8._o the_o life_n of_o sense_n make_v a_o man_n principal_o industrious_a in_o the_o matter_n of_o his_o own_o comfort_n and_o salvation_n but_o the_o life_n of_o faith_n principal_o in_o god_n glory_n take_v a_o soul_n that_o live_v by_o sense_n the_o great_a query_n be_v what_o shall_v i_o do_v to_o be_v save_v to_o attain_v jesus_n christ_n pardon_v of_o sin_n assurance_n of_o pardon_n they_o be_v good_a question_n i_o wish_v all_o have_v they_o but_o such_o a_o soul_n do_v not_o find_v much_o time_n for_o act_v for_o god_n because_o all_o his_o time_n be_v take_v up_o in_o act_v for_o himself_o how_o shall_v i_o do_v for_o pardon_n to_o get_v the_o love_n of_o god_n this_o be_v usual_a in_o new_a beginner_n we_o may_v see_v in_o the_o apostle_n paul_n though_o he_o be_v not_o careless_a of_o his_o salvation_n yet_o he_o do_v seem_v to_o overlook_v it_o set_v it_o by_o 2_o tim._n 1_o 11_o 12._o whereunto_o i_o be_o appoint_v a_o preacher_n and_o a_o apostle_n and_o a_o teacher_n of_o the_o gentile_n for_o the_o which_o cause_n i_o also_o suffer_v these_o thing_n nevertheless_o i_o be_o not_o
