to_o give_v a_o reason_n of_o his_o sentence_n in_o judgement_n he_o may_v and_o will_v fetch_v that_o reason_n partly_o from_o our_o obedience_n or_o our_o performance_n of_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n for_o as_o in_o this_o life_n we_o have_v a_o righteousness_n consist_v in_o free_a pardon_n of_o all_o sin_n through_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n and_o a_o righteousness_n consist_v in_o our_o personal_a performance_n of_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o promise_n which_o give_v that_o pardon_n and_o continue_v it_o to_o we_o so_o at_o judgement_n we_o shall_v according_o be_v justify_v and_o as_o our_o evangelical_a personal_a righteousness_n common_o call_v inherent_a be_v at_o first_o only_o in_o our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n and_o disposition_n to_o obey_v but_o afterward_o in_o our_o actual_a sincere_a obedience_n in_o which_o sense_n we_o be_v constitutive_o justify_v or_o make_v righteous_a here_o by_o our_o work_n in_o james_n his_o sense_n jam._n 2.24_o so_o according_o a_o double_a reason_n will_v be_v assign_v of_o our_o sentential_a justification_n one_o from_o our_o pardon_n by_o christ_n blood_n and_o merit_n which_o will_v prove_v our_o right_n have_v add_v to_o our_o faith_n virtue_n and_o have_v improve_v our_o talent_n and_o have_v love_v christ_n to_o the_o hazard_n of_o all_o or_o his_o sake_n for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o or_o be_v no_o true_a blessedness_n but_o this_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n the_o lord_n reveal_v this_o to_o his_o heart_n by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o he_o contemn_v the_o seem_a happiness_n on_o earth_n and_o lay_v up_o for_o himself_o a_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n and_o make_v he_o friend_n with_o the_o mammon_n of_o unrighteousness_n and_o venture_v all_o his_o hope_n in_o this_o vessel_n and_o now_o he_o find_v the_o wisdom_n of_o that_o choice_n in_o a_o rich_a return_n god_n make_v he_o so_o wise_a a_o merchant_n as_o to_o sell_v all_o for_o this_o pearl_n of_o great_a price_n and_o therefore_o now_o he_o shall_v find_v the_o gain_n as_o there_o be_v no_o other_o true_a happiness_n but_o god_n in_o glory_n so_o be_v there_o condition_n to_o which_o they_o be_v judge_v 2._o the_o reason_n or_o cause_n of_o this_o justification_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v give_v we_o both_o 1._o in_o a_o general_a denomination_n and_o 2._o and_o for_o your_o soul_n sake_n if_o you_o care_v not_o what_o minister_n say_v or_o what_o such_o as_o i_o say_v yet_o will_v you_o sober_o read_v now_o and_o then_o this_o 25._o chapter_n of_o matthew_n and_o regard_v what_o be_v tell_v you_o by_o he_o that_o must_v be_v your_o judge_n and_o now_o and_o then_o bethink_v yourselves_o sober_o whether_o these_o be_v matter_n for_o wise_a man_n innocent_a nor_o yet_o from_o their_o unbelief_n which_o be_v the_o great_a sin_n against_o the_o law_n of_o grace_n but_o it_o be_v give_v from_o their_o not_o express_v their_o faith_n and_o love_n to_o christ_n in_o work_n of_o mercy_n and_o self-denial_n and_o why_o be_v this_o so_o 1._o we_o must_v not_o suppose_v that_o these_o word_n of_o christ_n do_v express_v the_o whole_a judicial_a process_n in_o every_o point_n but_o the_o chief_a part_n it_o be_v suppose_v that_o all_o man_n be_v convict_v of_o be_v sinner_n against_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o the_o creator_n and_o that_o they_o be_v guilty_a of_o death_n for_o that_o sin_n and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o way_n but_o by_o christ_n to_o obtain_v deliverance_n but_o because_o all_o this_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v by_o the_o righteous_a themselves_o as_o well_o as_o by_o the_o wicked_a therefore_o christ_n do_v not_o mention_v this_o but_o that_o only_o which_o be_v the_o turn_a point_n or_o cause_n in_o the_o judgement_n for_o it_o be_v not_o all_o sinner_n that_o shall_v be_v final_o condemn_v but_o all_o impenitent_a unbelieving_a sinner_n who_o have_v rebel_v final_o against_o their_o redeemer_n 2._o to_o relieve_v those_o in_o misery_n be_v perhaps_o some_o of_o they_o poor_a themselves_o but_o all_o have_v that_o love_n and_o self-denial_n which_o will_v some_o way_n express_v itself_o and_o all_o have_v heart_n and_o a_o disposition_n to_o do_v thus_o if_o they_o have_v ability_n without_o such_o a_o disposition_n none_o can_v be_v save_v it_o be_v the_o fond_a conceit_n of_o some_o that_o if_o they_o have_v any_o love_n to_o the_o godly_a or_o wish_v they_o well_o it_o be_v enough_o to_o prove_v they_o happy_a but_o christ_n here_o purposely_o let_v we_o know_v that_o whoever_o
