galathian_o his_v disputation_n be_v against_o such_o jew_n as_o be_v not_o content_a with_o christ_n only_o but_o will_v have_v christ_n and_o the_o law_n join_v together_o thus_o far_o of_o the_o comparison_n between_o paul_n and_o we_o on_o the_o one_o side_n the_o old_a jew_n and_o the_o papist_n on_o the_o other_o now_o because_o it_o will_v be_v demand_v what_o paul_n think_v of_o the_o work_n of_o regeneration_n and_o what_o we_o and_o what_o the_o adversary_n think_v also_o therefore_o i_o will_v touch_v this_o question_n in_o few_o word_n here_o then_o some_o one_o will_v say_v do_v paul_n then_o in_o that_o disputation_n to_o the_o rom._n and_o to_o the_o galathian_o oppugn_v the_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o regeneration_n i_o answer_v paul_n chief_a purpose_n in_o that_o temporary_a faith_n the_o same_o subject_n with_o justify_v faith_n for_o it_o have_v it_o scat_n both_o in_o the_o mind_n and_o also_o in_o the_o will_n and_o heart_n last_o of_o all_o it_o have_v as_o many_o part_n of_o nature_n as_o the_o justify_n faith_n have_v for_o it_o be_v a_o knowledge_n of_o the_o understanding_n conjoin_v with_o both_o the_o judgement_n of_o the_o mind_n &_o it_o be_v the_o apprehension_n of_o the_o will_n or_o heart_n whereout_o follw_v also_o the_o stir_v of_o the_o affection_n as_o of_o joy_n delight_n etc._n etc._n but_o that_o i_o may_v speak_v a_o little_a more_o large_o of_o this_o apprehension_n which_o be_v in_o temporary_a faith_n and_o of_o this_o joy_n first_o it_o be_v certain_a by_o the_o scripture_n that_o these_o thing_n be_v in_o the_o temporary_a faith_n for_o christ_n say_v in_o matth._n that_o he_o which_o be_v but_o for_o a_o time_n do_v receive_v the_o word_n and_o that_o with_o joy_n and_o in_o joh._n the_o jew_n be_v say_v to_o have_v rejoice_v for_o a_o time_n in_o the_o light_n of_o john_n baptist_n and_o to_o the_o hebr._n justify_n how_o the_o historical_a and_o temporary_a say_v differ_v one_o from_o another_o and_o both_o from_o the_o justify_n there_o be_v attribute_v to_o this_o faith_n not_o only_o the_o enlighten_v of_o the_o mind_n but_o also_o the_o taste_n of_o the_o heart_n and_o that_o perform_v not_o only_o by_o the_o word_n but_o also_o by_o the_o spirit_n for_o he_o say_v they_o which_o have_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n therefore_o in_o temporary_a faith_n there_o be_v indeed_o a_o kind_n of_o apprehension_n there_o be_v indeed_o a_o certain_a joy_n wherein_o temperarie_a faith_n differ_v from_o historical_a faith_n for_o in_o historical_a faith_n these_o thing_n be_v not_o indeed_o but_o he_o that_o have_v it_o do_v fain_o and_o dissemble_v and_o lie_v in_o his_o outward_a profession_n that_o he_o have_v these_o thing_n wherefore_o he_o be_v a_o shameless_a hypocrite_n but_o he_o that_o have_v temporary_a faith_n have_v these_o thing_n indeed_o apprehension_n i_o say_v and_o joy_n after_o a_o certain_a manner_n neither_o do_v he_o so_o fain_o or_o sie_a as_o he_o that_o have_v a_o historical_a faith_n yet_o he_o be_v a_o hypocrite_n because_o this_o apprehension_n and_o this_o joy_n be_v not_o sincere_a albeit_o after_o a_o certain_a manner_n they_o be_v true_a i_o say_v they_o be_v not_o sincere_a because_o they_o be_v not_o for_o that_o cause_n for_o which_o they_o shall_v be_v that_o be_v they_o be_v not_o for_o temporary_a faith_n differ_v from_o justify_v faith_n for_o justify_v faith_n as_o it_o be_v sincere_a so_o it_o be_v sound_a for_o of_o that_o it_o be_v say_v col._n 2._o 5._o and_o the_o steadfastness_n of_o your_o faith_n the_o difference_n between_o a_o temporary_a faith_n and_o true_a justify_n faith_n faith_n in_o christ_n for_o justify_v faith_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o solid_a body_n consist_v of_o three_o dimension_n length_n breadth_n depth_n for_o it_o possess_v the_o depth_n and_o low_a of_o the_o heart_n but_o temporary_a faith_n be_v not_o a_o body_n with_o three_o apprehension_n arise_v from_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o heart_n or_o to_o conclude_v a_o sound_a joy_n possess_v the_o whole_a body_n but_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v only_o superficial_a in_o the_o temporary_a faith_n whereupon_o heb._n 6._o that_o apprehension_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n which_o be_v therein_o be_v compare_v to_o taste_v or_o sleight_n touch_v see_v that_o the_o heart_n do_v but_o as_o it_o be_v with_o the_o tip_n of_o the_o tongue_n light_o taste_v those_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o not_o quite_o drink_v they_o up_o and_o receive_v they_o into_o itself_o again_o out_o of_o this_o that_o temporary_a faith_n be_v not_o sound_a another_o thing_n also_o follow_v namely_o that_o it_o do_v not_o endure_v for_o ever_o but_o only_o for_o a_o time_n for_o that_o which_o be_v that_o distinction_n of_o temporal_a and_o eternal_a punishment_n to_o be_v allow_v for_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o whosoever_o be_v punish_v temporal_o for_o their_o sin_n and_o in_o that_o respect_n and_o for_o that_o cause_n such_o also_o without_o repentance_n shall_v be_v punish_v for_o their_o sin_n eternal_o for_o temporal_a punishment_n of_o the_o ungodly_a in_o this_o life_n be_v
