to_o say_v we_o be_v justify_v by_o faith_n faith_n consider_v by_o itself_o make_v no_o man_n righteous_a neither_o do_v the_o action_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v to_o apprehend_v justify_v but_o the_o object_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v christ_n obedience_n apprehend_v these_o be_v the_o principal_a reason_n common_o use_v which_o as_o we_o see_v be_v of_o no_o moment_n to_o conclude_v therefore_o we_o hold_v that_o work_n concur_v to_o justification_n and_o that_o we_o be_v justify_v thereby_o as_o by_o sign_n and_o effect_n not_o as_o cause_n for_o both_o the_o beginning_n middle_a and_o accomplishment_n of_o our_o justification_n be_v only_o in_o christ_n and_o hereupon_o john_n say_v if_o any_o man_n be_v already_o justify_v sin_n we_o have_v a_o advocate_n with_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n &_o life_n everlasting_a be_v to_o be_v find_v in_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n alone_o who_o be_v the_o storehouse_n of_o all_o our_o merit_n who_o prerogative_n it_o be_v to_o be_v the_o person_n alone_o in_o who_o god_n be_v well_o please_v god_n favour_n be_v of_o infinite_a dignity_n &_o no_o creature_n be_v able_a to_o do_v a_o work_n that_o may_v countervayle_v the_o favour_n of_o god_n save_v christ_n alone_o who_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o dignity_n of_o his_o person_n be_v not_o a_o mere_a man_n but_o god-man_n or_o man-god_n he_o can_v do_v such_o work_n as_o eat_v of_o endless_a dignity_n every_o way_n answerable_a to_o the_o favour_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o sufficient_a to_o merit_v the_o same_o for_o us._n and_o though_o a_o merit_n or_o meritorious_a work_n agree_v only_o to_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n
