and_o superstitious_a scrupulosity_n heaviness_n and_o too_o much_o dejection_n of_o mind_n fear_n and_o desperation_n superstitious_a scrupulosity_n be_v when_o through_o natural_a blindness_n and_o want_n of_o sound_a knowledge_n we_o doubt_v of_o all_o our_o action_n whether_o they_o be_v lawful_a or_o unlawful_a and_o call_v every_o thing_n into_o question_n be_v ready_a to_o yield_v unto_o every_o tentation_n which_o abridge_v we_o of_o our_o christian_a liberty_n when_o some_o fearful_a judgement_n be_v suggest_v and_o threaten_v by_o the_o devil_n and_o our_o own_o corruption_n if_o be_v so_o bitter_a and_o unpleasant_a to_o the_o flesh_n that_o they_o make_v we_o immoderate_o sorrowful_a and_o to_o break_v out_o into_o some_o impatiency_n as_o though_o they_o be_v sign_n of_o god_n wrath_n and_o displeasure_n and_o not_o of_o his_o fatherly_a love_n correct_v we_o for_o our_o amendment_n seventh_o and_o last_o this_o sorrow_n arise_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o weak_a christian_n when_o as_o they_o compare_v themselves_o with_o other_o that_o have_v make_v a_o better_a and_o great_a progress_n in_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n spirit_n and_o in_o the_o duty_n of_o a_o godly_a life_n be_v hereby_o move_v to_o think_v that_o the_o grace_n which_o they_o see_v in_o other_o be_v whole_o want_v in_o themselves_o because_o their_o lesser_a light_n be_v obscure_v by_o a_o great_a and_o seem_v nothing_o because_o it_o be_v not_o of_o equal_a brightness_n or_o if_o they_o have_v any_o at_o all_o yet_o that_o it_o be_v false_a and_o hypocritical_a because_o it_o be_v but_o of_o slender_a growth_n and_o much_o inferior_a to_o those_o which_o we_o observe_v in_o many_o other_o who_o notwithstanding_o we_o have_v as_o much_o exceed_v in_o mean_n as_o they_o we_o in_o the_o fruit_n of_o they_o by_o which_o sorrow_n and_o heaviness_n arise_v from_o these_o and_o such_o like_a cause_n the_o poor_a christian_a do_v more_o &_o more_o weaken_v the_o operation_n of_o god_n grace_n in_o he_o in_o the_o duty_n of_o a_o godly_a life_n because_o he_o do_v too_o much_o already_o apprehend_v their_o weakness_n and_o more_o disable_v himself_o because_o he_o see_v his_o inability_n for_o have_v with_o immoderate_a grief_n weaken_v his_o body_n and_o spend_v his_o spirit_n oppress_v his_o heart_n and_o terrify_v his_o conscience_n he_o be_v make_v lumpish_a and_o dull_a uncheerfull_a and_o uncomfortable_a in_o all_o the_o duty_n of_o god_n service_n for_o the_o remove_n of_o which_o impediment_n we_o must_v careful_o take_v heed_n that_o we_o do_v not_o disjoin_v faith_n from_o our_o repentance_n but_o as_o we_o have_v one_o eye_n upon_o our_o sin_n that_o we_o may_v sorrow_n for_o they_o so_o the_o other_o eye_n upon_o our_o saviour_n christ_n who_o have_v full_o satisfy_v for_o they_o second_o we_o must_v not_o dream_v upon_o any_o perfection_n of_o sanctification_n in_o this_o life_n though_o we_o labour_v after_o it_o and_o then_o we_o shall_v man_n to_o give_v themselves_o to_o all_o sensuality_n voluptuousness_n and_o prophanesse_n when_o they_o have_v no_o other_o hope_n but_o what_o this_o present_a life_n offer_v unto_o they_o and_o the_o rather_o that_o they_o may_v hereby_o put_v off_o for_o a_o little_a while_n their_o terror_n of_o conscience_n and_o grief_n of_o mind_n as_o it_o be_v by_o drink_v of_o cold_a water_n in_o the_o fit_a of_o a_o fever_n and_o want_v faith_n by_o which_o we_o be_v unite_v unto_o christ_n in_o who_o a_o lone_a we_o can_v bring_v forth_o fruit_n of_o holiness_n and_o righteousness_n how_o
