and_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o confirmation_n of_o man_n promise_n of_o faith_n and_o obedience_n to_o the_o end_n and_o of_o god_n promise_n that_o when_o man_n performance_n be_v perfect_a his_o performance_n shall_v follow_v and_o in_o due_a time_n be_v full_a and_o perfect_a for_o the_o more_o full_a and_o clear_a understanding_n of_o the_o point_n we_o must_v observe_v 1._o that_o the_o covenant_n between_o god_n and_o man_n differ_v from_o other_o ordinary_a covenant_n in_o other_o covenant_n the_o party_n covenant_v be_v equal_o free_a from_o any_o antecedent_n obligation_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o thing_n covenant_v and_o the_o obligation_n of_o both_o party_n

understand_v the_o word_n so_o as_o 1._o in_o no_o wise_a to_o think_v that_o god_n do_v or_o can_v move_v or_o induce_v any_o man_n to_o sin_n for_o this_o can_v any_o way_n stand_v with_o his_o pure_a holiness_n nor_o with_o his_o most_o holy_a law_n 2._o yet_o because_o nothing_o can_v be_v do_v or_o come_v to_o pass_v without_o his_o divine_a providence_n either_o effect_v or_o permit_v excellent_a virtue_n and_o so_o give_v they_o a_o glorious_a victory_n yet_o we_o must_v know_v that_o god_n necessitate_v no_o man_n to_o sin_n and_o if_o in_o temptation_n we_o be_v overcome_v it_o
