work_v wonder_n who_o feel_v themselves_o beguile_v when_o they_o come_v too_o the_o pinch_n we_o see_v what_o happen_v too_o peter_n he_o promise_v yea_o even_o unfeigned_o 35._o that_o he_o will_v not_o alone_a too_o protest_v that_o he_o discharge_v his_o duty_n but_o too_o the_o intent_n that_o the_o same_o shall_v serve_v for_o a_o example_n too_o all_o the_o faithful_a that_o upon_o the_o know_n of_o their_o want_n they_o may_v resort_v only_o unto_o god_n know_v that_o he_o hold_v we_o up_o continual_o by_o strong_a hand_n and_o that_o after_o he_o have_v once_o give_v we_o faith_n take_v warning_n not_o too_o trust_v too_o our_o own_o wit_n nor_o too_o presume_v any_o whit_n upon_o our_o own_o power_n and_o strength_n when_o we_o come_v too_o hear_v god_n word_n but_o too_o desire_v our_o god_n that_o like_a as_o he_o have_v vouchsafe_v too_o have_v his_o word_n preach_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o mouth_n of_o a_o man_n so_o he_o will_v also_o speak_v unto_o we_o inward_o and_o in_o secret_a by_o his_o holy_a ghost_n that_o by_o that_o mean_v the_o doctrine_n which_o we_o have_v hear_v may_v take_v root_n and_o bring_v forth_o profit_n and_o fruit_n and_o moreover_o sith_o we_o see_v by_o experience_n that_o god_n require_v more_o of_o we_o than_o our_o power_n and_o ability_n can_v avoord_v let_v we_o desire_v he_o too_o supply_v our_o want_n according_a too_o the_o example_n that_o i_o have_v set_v down_o already_a which_o be_v that_o it_o be_v clean_o contrary_a too_o our_o fleshly_a reason_n that_o we_o shall_v go_v too_o death_n if_o need_v be_v and_o forsake_v the_o world_n and_o our_o own_o life_n this_o be_v not_o too_o be_v find_v in_o man_n if_o he_o follow_v still_o his_o own_o reason_n and_o will._n god_n therefore_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o work_v in_o this_o case_n and_o too_o remedy_v our_o infirmity_n but_o although_o that_o too_o suffer_v for_o the_o gospel_n and_o too_o go_v too_o death_n as_o it_o be_v with_o blindfold_a eye_n and_o not_o too_o be_v turn_v away_o nor_o strike_v down_o for_o any_o thing_n be_v very_o hard_a thing_n and_o such_o as_o pass_v all_o ability_n of_o man_n yet_o will_v god_n stand_v by_o we_o in_o such_o sort_n as_o we_o shall_v overcome_v all_o distress_n if_o we_o arm_v ourselves_o with_o the_o weapon_n that_o he_o give_v we_o that_o be_v too_o say_v if_o upon_o the_o know_n of_o his_o will_n we_o be_v unable_a too_o walk_v as_o he_o command_v we_o do_v pray_v he_o too_o give_v we_o leg_n and_o too_o strengthen_v we_o in_o such_o wise_a as_o we_o may_v overcome_v all_o this_o do_v a_o man_n can_v say_v that_o this_o doctrine_n be_v unprofitable_a for_o why_o be_v it_o that_o our_o lord_n give_v we_o those_o thing_n by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n which_o we_o have_v not_o by_o nature_n even_o too_o make_v the_o doctrine_n available_a so_o as_o it_o may_v not_o disappoint_v we_o they_o then_o which_o do_v slanderous_o say_v that_o if_o we_o can_v follow_v god_n of_o our_o own_o freewill_n it_o be_v better_a too_o forbear_v preach_v because_o it_o be_v but_o lose_a labour_n they_o say_v i_o wot_v not_o what_o order_n god_n keep_v too_o assure_v we_o too_o himself_o and_o experience_n show_v well_o enough_o that_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n be_v but_o a_o instrument_n whereby_o god_n work_v in_o secret_a if_o we_o be_v full_o resolve_v of_o that_o then_o shall_v we_o very_o well_o perceive_v that_o god_n agree_v very_o well_o with_o himself_o in_o that_o he_o will_v have_v the_o gospel_n preach_v too_o we_o and_o yet_o tell_v we_o that_o it_o shall_v stand_v we_o in_o no_o stead_n except_o it_o pleaze_v he_o too_o work_v in_o our_o heart_n by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n now_o in_o say_v that_o the_o gospel_n be_v a_o instrument_n it_o be_v all_o one_o as_o if_o a_o man_n shall_v say_v that_o a_o ploughman_n with_o his_o plough_n 〈…〉_o and_o all_o other_o thing_n 7._o be_v a_o instrument_n and_o yet_o not_o therefore_o the_o cause_n why_o the_o earth_n bring_v 〈◊〉_d fruit_n 11._o and_o why_o for_o god_n keep_v that_o too_o himself_o and_o in_o that_o respect_n do_v we_o ask_v he_o our_o daily_a bread_n for_o we_o must_v understâ—â—d_v that_o as_o a_o father_n have_v care_n of_o his_o child_n and_o as_o you_o will_v say_v put_v the_o meat_n into_o their_o mouth_n so_o will_v god_n have_v we_o too_o receive_v our_o sustenance_n at_o his_o hand_n he_o say_v that_o when_o the_o people_n shall_v be_v come_v into_o the_o land_n of_o canaan_n 4._o although_o they_o shall_v till_o and_o manure_v the_o ground_n yet_o shall_v they_o not_o say_v of_o the_o sower_n of_o god_n word_n and_o of_o such_o as_o manure_v his_o church_n with_o continual_a exhortation_n albeit_o then_o that_o we_o take_v never_o so_o great_a pain_n yet_o shall_v we_o do_v no_o good_a at_o all_o with_o our_o labour_n except_o god_n work_v with_o it_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n but_o when_o he_o work_v with_o we_o then_o be_v our_o labour_n available_a and_o then_o it_o be_v say_v 16._o that_o the_o gospel_n be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n too_o the_o salvation_n of_o all_o that_o believe_v for_o god_n do_v so_o utter_a the_o power_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n that_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o secret_a and_o inward_a work_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v thing_n so_o join_v together_o as_o they_o can_v be_v separate_v and_o so_o you_o see_v in_o effect_n what_o we_o have_v too_o remember_v upon_o that_o say_n of_o s._n paul_n now_o have_v speak_v of_o pray_v he_o say_v that_o you_o may_v be_v strengthen_v in_o the_o inward_a man_n by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n here_o he_o show_v we_o the_o weakness_n that_o i_o speak_v of_o afore_o for_o if_o we_o perceive_v not_o our_o own_o need_n we_o will_v never_o vouchsafe_v too_o resort_n unto_o god_n like_o poor_a begget_n we_o know_v that_o man_n be_v leave_v to_o himself_o will_v never_o acknowledge_v his_o own_o poverty_n except_o it_o be_v prove_v too_o his_o face_n to_o the_o end_n therefore_o that_o we_o shall_v come_v unto_o he_o unfeigned_o and_o with_o true_a lowliness_n it_o be_v for_o our_o behof_n too_o feel_v by_o experience_n that_o we_o can_v do_v nothing_o at_o all_o and_o that_o we_o be_v unprofitable_a in_o respect_n of_o all_o goodness_n until_o our_o lord_n have_v renew_v we_o that_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o saint_n paul_n intend_v too_o make_v we_o too_o understand_v for_o though_o all_o the_o world_n general_o do_v seek_v help_n at_o god_n hand_n yet_o be_v there_o scarce_o one_o too_o be_v find_v among_o a_o hundred_o that_o do_v it_o true_o and_o without_o hypocrisy_n for_o if_o a_o man_n can_v search_v what_o be_v in_o some_o he_o shall_v find_v they_o ready_a too_o burst_v like_o toad_n with_o pride_n and_o filthiness_n and_o that_o they_o presume_v woonderous_o upon_o themselves_o they_o will_v go_v seek_v succour_n at_o god_n hand_n and_o yet_o think_v they_o have_v their_o seek_n in_o themselves_o sure_o it_o be_v too_o excessive_a a_o lewdness_n but_o yet_o be_v it_o a_o vice_n that_o reign_v too_o much_o howsoever_o we_o fare_v if_o we_o desire_n god_n too_o reach_v out_o his_o hand_n too_o succour_v we_o let_v we_o learn_v first_o of_o all_o too_o abase_v ourselves_o and_o let_v we_o know_v that_o we_o have_v not_o sufficient_a strength_n of_o our_o own_o nature_n but_o that_o the_o same_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o come_v from_o above_o and_o from_o his_o holy_a spirit_n as_o s._n paul_n have_v express_v here_o that_o you_o may_v be_v strengthen_v say_v he_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n no_o doubt_n but_o he_o make_v comparison_n here_o of_o thing_n clean_o contrary_a for_o so_o long_o as_o a_o man_n can_v do_v aught_o of_o himself_o god_n spirit_n need_v not_o to_o supply_v the_o room_n but_o forasmuch_o as_o all_o power_n proceed_v of_o god_n free_a goodness_n therein_o it_o be_v show_v we_o that_o we_o can_v do_v nothing_o of_o ourselves_o and_o that_o all_o the_o strength_n which_o we_o surmise_v ourselves_o too_o have_v be_v but_o smoke_n that_o vanish_v away_o and_o a_o stark_a illuzion_n of_o satan_n who_o seek_v too_o hold_v we_o fast_o in_o some_o fond_a selfween_n too_o the_o intent_n we_o shall_v not_o repair_v too_o our_o god_n and_o so_o be_v leave_v utter_o destitute_a and_o beside_o this_o saint_n paul_n show_v further_a that_o it_o be_v a_o free_a bestow_v benefit_n that_o be_v too_o say_v a_o benefit_n that_o proceed_v of_o god_n only_o free_a gift_n too_o the_o intent_n we_o shall_v not_o imagine_v that_o when_o god_n succore_v we_o he_o have_v a_o eye_n too_o any_o thing_n else_o than_o our_o wretchedness_n or_o that_o he_o do_v it_o for_o any_o good_a disposition_n that_o he_o see_v shall_v be_v in_o we_o and_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o he_o succore_v we_o in_o all_o our_o need_n and_o therefore_o saint_n paul_n say_v here_o that_o it_o stand_v we_o on_o hand_n too_o be_v it_o that_o he_o magnify_v the_o riches_n of_o god_n goodness_n so_o much_o but_o to_o beat_v down_o all_o the_o fond_a opinion_n wherewith_o man_n besotte_v themselves_o in_o ween_v too_o bring_v i_o begin_v too_o do_v good_a that_o even_o when_o god_n have_v set_v we_o in_o the_o way_n when_o he_o have_v reach_v we_o his_o hand_n yea_o and_o when_o he_o have_v continue_v his_o grace_n in_o we_o from_o day_n too_o day_n 13._o yet_o if_o he_o do_v but_o turn_v away_o his_o hand_n one_o minute_n we_o be_v quite_o quell_v and_o so_o we_o be_v warn_v as_o we_o have_v see_v afore_o that_o as_o god_n be_v the_o beginner_n of_o our_o salvation_n so_o be_v he_o the_o worker_n of_o it_o throughout_o and_o there_o be_v nostedfaâ—â—nesse_n in_o we_o furtherfoorth_o than_o we_o be_v uphild_n by_o he_o and_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o therefore_o we_o ought_v too_o be_v provoke_v too_o pray_v daily_a all_o the_o time_n of_o our_o life_n for_o they_o that_o forget_v themselves_o and_o fall_v asleep_a shall_v soon_o feel_v themselves_o bereave_v of_o god_n grace_n and_o why_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o it_o because_o they_o seek_v it_o not_o with_o continual_a care_n therefore_o too_o waken_v we_o thorough_o both_o from_o our_o slothfulness_n and_o from_o our_o retchlessness_n we_o must_v bear_v in_o mind_n that_o see_v god_n have_v call_v we_o into_o his_o church_n and_o touch_v we_o to_o the_o quick_a to_o receive_v his_o gospel_n with_o true_a obedience_n the_o same_o aught_o to_o strengthen_v we_o so_o much_o the_o more_o too_o the_o end_n let_v that_o serve_v for_o one_o point_n again_o let_v we_o understand_v that_o god_n must_v needs_o show_v the_o riches_n of_o his_o glory_n when_o he_o increase_v so_o his_o holy_a spirit_n in_o we_o by_o degree_n for_o must_v there_o not_o needs_o be_v a_o infinite_a treasure_n of_o his_o goodness_n when_o he_o draw_v we_o so_o to_o he_o at_o the_o first_o sight_n in_o what_o plight_n we_o be_v when_o god_n choze_v we_o and_o take_v we_o too_o he_o he_o draw_v we_o not_o only_o out_o of_o a_o stink_a puddle_n but_o out_o of_o the_o bottom_n
