god_n give_v the_o israelite_n twice_o so_o much_o manna_n on_o the_o 6_o day_n as_o upon_o any_o other_o day_n that_o so_o they_o may_v rest_v upon_o the_o sabbath_n day_n so_o have_v god_n bless_v the_o establish_a order_n in_o our_o kingdom_n of_o work_v but_o 6_o day_n in_o 7_o that_o the_o poor_a can_v now_o earn_v as_o much_o in_o 6_o day_n as_o they_o shall_v do_v in_o 7_o day_n if_o it_o be_v customary_a for_o we_o to_o work_v every_o day_n for_o do_v the_o poor_a work_n 7_o day_n the_o rich_a will_v give_v they_o the_o less_o for_o every_o day_n work_n so_o as_o they_o shall_v but_o bare_o get_v a_o live_n then_o and_o so_o much_o they_o get_v now_o for_o because_o they_o work_v but_o a_o few_o day_n therefore_o they_o have_v the_o more_o for_o every_o day_n work_n that_o so_o celebrate_v many_o holy_a day_n for_o the_o same_o end_n &_o not_o only_o the_o saint_n day_n yearly_a but_o also_o the_o lord_n day_n weekly_o 2._o it_o be_v meet_v to_o have_v a_o sabbath_n day_n because_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n of_o good_a report_n approve_a &_o allow_v of_o by_o all_o christian_a church_n now_o the_o apostle_n call_v upon_o we_o to_o follow_v those_o thing_n which_o be_v of_o good_a report_n phil._n 4.8_o &_o those_o thing_n therefore_o which_o all_o christian_a people_n approve_v and_o allow_v of_o be_v meet_v to_o be_v have_v in_o use_n papist_n they_o allow_v of_o rest_v from_o labour_n and_o the_o public_a worship_n of_o god_n constant_o upon_o one_o day_n of_o every_o seven_o lutheran_n do_v the_o like_a and_o anabaptist_n how_o ever_o they_o keep_v no_o day_n by_o divine_a institution_n yet_o they_o keep_v and_o hold_v it_o fit_a to_o keep_v one_o day_n in_o seven_o wherein_o they_o rest_v from_o their_o labour_n and_o perform_v public_a worship_n unto_o god_n last_o all_o protestant_n do_v allow_v and_o approve_v of_o one_o day_n in_o seven_o as_o fit_a to_o rest_v in_o from_o labour_n and_o to_o worship_n god_n public_o so_o here_o be_v a_o cloud_n of_o witeness_n hold_v it_o meet_v to_o keep_v a_o sabbath_n day_n and_o a_o thing_n of_o good_a report_n if_o we_o shall_v ascend_v unto_o the_o primitive_a church_n who_o live_v next_o after_o the_o apostle_n we_o shall_v find_v that_o they_o hold_v it_o meet_v to_o keep_v one_o day_n in_o 7_o and_o sometime_o more_o for_o the_o service_n of_o god_n and_o to_o rest_v from_o labour_n thus_o we_o have_v a_o general_a and_o joint_a consent_n of_o all_o church_n both_o now_o live_v and_o from_o the_o apostle_n time_n that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n meet_v to_o rest_n and_o serve_v god_n public_o one_o day_n in_o a_o week_n and_o so_o we_o have_v prove_v this_o point_n namely_o that_o it_o be_v meet_v &_o convenient_a to_o keep_v a_o sabbath_n day_n indefinite_o one_o in_o 7_o day_n now_o i_o come_v to_o prove_v that_o of_o all_o the_o day_n of_o the_o week_n the_o seven_o day_n or_o saturday_n be_v the_o most_o fit_a day_n my_o first_o reason_n be_v because_o god_n almighty_a rest_v rather_o upon_o the_o saturday_n then_o upon_o any_o other_o day_n genes_n 2.3_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v meet_v we_o shall_v imitate_v such_o a_o precedent_n be_v a_o man_n to_o make_v his_o choice_n on_o which_o day_n of_o the_o week_n to_o rest_n from_o labour_n and_o to_o refresh_v himself_o i_o think_v he_o can_v not_o possible_o find_v a_o more_o fit_a day_n to_o rest_n in_o then_o on_o that_o day_n wherein_o god_n almighty_n rest_v my_o second_o reason_n be_v take_v from_o this_o that_o a_o man_n may_v doubt_v whither_o the_o old_a sabbath_n day_n be_v abolish_v or_o not_o and_o if_o it_o be_v disputable_a and_o
the_o sabbath_n now_o will_v it_o hence_o follow_v that_o because_o god_n teld_v the_o israelite_n in_o levit._n 23.3_o that_o the_o seven_o day_n be_v the_o sabbath_n therefore_o the_o israelite_n that_o he_o inform_v they_o what_o they_o shall_v do_v with_o their_o manna_n on_o the_o sabbath_n day_n whereof_o they_o be_v ignorant_a before_o for_o this_o see_v the_o context_n in_o v._o 19_o moses_n have_v say_v that_o no_o man_n shall_v leave_v of_o their_o manna_n till_o the_o morning_n now_o since_o on_o the_o 6_o day_n they_o have_v gather_v enough_o for_o that_o day_n and_o for_o
