when_o man_n do_v indeed_o cleave_v close_o to_o the_o reveal_v will_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o be_v humble_a for_o all_o they_o do_v when_o they_o be_v humble_v for_o their_o short-coming_n and_o do_v stoop_v and_o mourn_v under_o any_o correction_n consider_v the_o greatness_n and_o power_n of_o god_n with_o who_o they_o have_v to_o do_v for_o this_o be_v true_a piety_n which_o they_o pretend_v to_o to_o keep_v his_o ordinance_n and_o walk_v mournful_o before_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n 4._o it_o be_v a_o great_a evidence_n of_o unfoundnesse_n when_o man_n despise_v piety_n and_o the_o way_n of_o god_n because_o of_o the_o want_n of_o outward_a success_n as_o if_o piety_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n be_v not_o a_o reward_n to_o itself_o and_o as_o if_o it_o be_v not_o fit_a that_o god_n purge_v his_o own_o people_n that_o they_o may_v bring_v forth_o more_o fruit_n they_o account_v it_o vain_a to_o serve_v god_n for_o what_o profit_n be_v it_o that_o we_o have_v keep_v his_o ordinance_n etc._n etc._n 5._o it_o be_v also_o a_o great_a evidence_n of_o unfoundnesse_n when_o man_n see_v too_o well_o their_o own_o performance_n and_o be_v proud_a of_o they_o and_o this_o conceit_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o man_n quarrel_v when_o their_o lot_n please_v they_o not_o for_o these_o complainer_n see_v their_o own_o worth_n and_o what_o they_o do_v and_o because_o of_o this_o complain_n whereas_o man_n humility_n lose_v the_o lustre_n where_o they_o see_v it_o and_o swell_v with_o it_o 6._o it_o may_v please_v the_o lord_n for_o a_o snare_n to_o sinner_n and_o a_o trial_n to_o other_o and_o that_o none_o may_v dote_v on_o outward_a thing_n not_o only_o to_o deliver_v sinner_n out_o of_o trouble_n but_o when_o they_o come_v to_o the_o height_n of_o impiety_n as_o not_o to_o own_o god_n or_o tempt_v and_o put_v he_o to_o it_o to_o make_v that_o a_o mean_n of_o advancement_n for_o they_o that_o work_n wickedness_n be_v set_v up_o and_o they_o that_o tempt_v god_n be_v even_o deliver_v 7._o the_o prosperity_n of_o wicked_a man_n in_o wicked_a course_n be_v a_o trial_n of_o sincerity_n and_o will_v ready_o draw_v unfound_a hypocrite_n not_o only_o to_o be_v discover_v in_o their_o dwell_n in_o siel_v house_n when_o his_o house_n lie_v waste_v doct._n 4_o man_n own_o conscience_n when_o they_o speak_v impartial_o will_v convince_v they_o of_o heinous_a make_v a_o good_a life_n for_o themselves_o in_o a_o ill_a time_n and_o let_v god_n work_v lie_v in_o the_o dust_n as_o that_o they_o can_v do_v nothing_o for_o nor_o be_v sensible_a of_o nor_o challenge_v for_o any_o neglect_n about_o it_o this_o be_v import_v in_o that_o pinch_a question_n be_v it_o time_n for_o you_o o_o you_o to_o dwell_v in_o your_o siel_v house_n and_o this_o house_n see_v not_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n nor_o feel_v sweetness_n in_o worship_n and_o especial_o be_v the_o ftuit_n of_o contempt_n of_o he_o so_o it_o be_v enough_o to_o make_v service_n abominable_a before_o god_n see_v he_o love_v and_o require_v a_o willing_a people_n you_o say_v also_o what_o a_o weariness_n be_v it_o and_o you_o snuff_v at_o it_o 2._o they_o who_o weary_a in_o god_n service_n if_o they_o do_v not_o quite_o abandon_v it_o will_v soon_o sleight_v it_o and_o mind_n nothing_o more_o when_o they_o come_v about_o it_o then_o how_o to_o get_v it_o over_o any_o way_n for_o you_o bring_v that_o which_o be_v tear_v and_o the_o lame_a and_o the_o sick_a for_o a_o offering_n 3._o when_o man_n have_v breed_v themselves_o to_o weary_a and_o sleight_n god_n in_o his_o service_n it_o be_v no_o wonder_n to_o see_v clear_a light_n and_o their_o conscience_n prove_v no_o aw-band_n or_o tie_n unto_o they_o they_o will_v soon_o either_o silence_n or_o sleight_v its_o voice_n for_o god_n appeal_v to_o their_o own_o conscience_n shall_v i_o accept_v this_o of_o your_o band_n as_o plead_n for_o he_o against_o themselves_o and_o yet_o they_o go_v on_o verse_n 14._o but_o curse_v service_n but_o to_o spend_v and_o employ_v the_o best_a of_o their_o strength_n time_n part_n and_o affection_n in_o his_o service_n and_o albeit_o our_o obligation_n go_v far_o beyond_o our_o ability_n yet_o it_o can_v but_o procure_v a_o curse_n when_o willing_o we_o lie_v

secure_v their_o portion_n to_o they_o and_o for_o all_o these_o may_v faithful_a minister_n trust_v god_n for_o my_o covenant_n be_v with_o he_o of_o life_n that_o be_v preservation_n here_o and_o hope_v of_o a_o better_a life_n hereafter_o and_o peace_n or_o prosperity_n 3._o it_o be_v a_o special_a qualification_n of_o faithful_a minister_n and_o a_o evidence_n that_o they_o be_v to_o receive_v a_o blessing_n when_o much_o familiarity_n with_o holy_a thing_n do_v not_o breed_v contempt_n but_o their_o heart_n be_v fill_v with_o awe_n and_o reverence_n of_o god_n and_o they_o go_v peace_n with_o god_n their_o great_a aim_n and_o for_o that_o end_n to_o be_v humble_a in_o their_o obedience_n and_o not_o rebellious_a to_o occasion_n quarrel_n which_o be_v to_o walk_v with_o he_o
