he_o and_o tender_a love_n to_o he_o i_o but_o he_o have_v lose_v much_o of_o his_o experience_n that_o it_o be_v to_o he_o as_o if_o it_o have_v not_o be_v oftentimes_o when_o christian_n be_v under_o a_o cloud_n they_o forget_v that_o the_o sun_n of_o god_n favour_n ever_o shine_v upon_o they_o and_o when_o they_o be_v in_o strait_n forget_v the_o great_a salvation_n that_o god_n have_v wrought_v for_o they_o when_o he_o call_v they_o out_o of_o a_o state_n of_o sin_n and_o misery_n into_o a_o state_n of_o grace_n and_o happiness_n and_o this_o be_v a_o great_a affliction_n to_o he_o that_o he_o can_v remember_v the_o work_n of_o the_o right_a hand_n of_o the_o lord_n nor_o the_o gracious_a and_o soul_n ravish_v word_n of_o his_o mouth_n now_o be_v there_o no_o relief_n to_o be_v have_v from_o god_n in_o this_o case_n yes_o and_o that_o i_o shall_v show_v you_o in_o three_o particular_n 1._o sometime_o god_n bring_v truth_n and_o experience_n to_o our_o mind_n and_o remembrance_n when_o we_o stand_v in_o the_o great_a need_n of_o they_o god_n deal_v with_o we_o as_o natural_a parent_n do_v with_o a_o dear_a child_n who_o they_o love_v exceed_o it_o may_v be_v need_n &_o then_o bring_v it_o forth_o when_o he_o know_v it_o will_v do_v we_o the_o most_o good_a comfort_n shall_v be_v give_v in_o when_o the_o soul_n have_v quite_o forget_v that_o she_o ever_o have_v comfort_n and_o as_o it_o be_v the_o office_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o comfort_v mourner_n so_o in_o order_n hereunto_o he_o must_v teach_v the_o soul_n and_o bring_v thing_n to_o our_o remembrance_n so_o it_o be_v promise_v john_n 14.26_o but_o the_o comforter_n which_o be_v the_o holy_a ghost_n who_o the_o father_n will_v send_v in_o my_o name_n shall_v teach_v you_o all_o thing_n and_o bring_v all_o thing_n to_o your_o remembrance_n first_o he_o must_v teach_v the_o soul_n those_o thing_n that_o belong_v to_o comfort_v i_o but_o the_o soul_n be_v very_o apt_a to_o forget_v to_o bring_v thing_n to_o our_o remembrance_n for_o our_o comfort_n and_o sometime_o when_o thing_n be_v quite_o out_o of_o our_o remembrance_n and_o even_o bury_v in_o the_o grave_n of_o forgetfulness_n the_o holy_a ghost_n bring_v they_o all_o to_o our_o mind_n as_o fresh_a as_o if_o we_o have_v but_o new_o receive_v they_o saint_n paul_n write_v the_o same_o thing_n to_o the_o phillippian_o which_o he_o have_v either_o preach_v to_o they_o or_o write_v to_o they_o before_o that_o he_o may_v imprint_v they_o the_o better_a upon_o their_o mind_n and_o some_o gather_v out_o of_o matth._n 5._o compare_v with_o luke_n 6.20_o that_o our_o saviour_n preach_v the_o same_o sermon_n twice_o over_o because_o many_o hearer_n be_v dull_a to_o conceive_v hard_o to_o believe_v and_o flee_v from_o they_o as_o the_o brook_v pass_v away_o from_o the_o troop_n of_o tema_n 2._o sometime_o when_o a_o christian_a have_v forget_v old_a experience_n god_n create_v new_a for_o his_o joy_n and_o comfort_n when_o old_a mercy_n be_v wear_v out_o of_o our_o remembrance_n he_o engrave_v new_a mercy_n upon_o our_o mind_n and_o when_o some_o promise_n of_o grace_n and_o comfort_n be_v slip_v out_o of_o our_o memory_n he_o point_v we_o to_o other_o that_o be_v as_o suitable_a to_o our_o present_a state_n it_o may_v be_v thou_o have_v forget_v the_o promise_n of_o this_o life_n and_o god_n fasten_v the_o promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n upon_o thy_o spirit_n thou_o have_v forget_v something_o of_o that_o which_o thou_o have_v learn_v heretofore_o and_o to_o supply_v the_o want_n thereof_o he_o teach_v thou_o something_o which_o thou_o do_v never_o learn_v and_o sometime_o a_o word_n of_o precept_n be_v more_o needful_a to_o be_v teach_v than_o the_o word_n of_o promise_n and_o a_o christian_a find_v it_o so_o when_o the_o heart_n begin_v to_o grow_v wanton_a and_o loose_a under_o gracious_a promise_n and_o experience_n it_o be_v just_a with_o god_n to_o take_v they_o away_o and_o to_o feed_v she_o with_o hard_a diet_n yet_o so_o that_o she_o shall_v have_v cause_n to_o bless_v god_n at_o last_o for_o it_o for_o else_o she_o may_v have_v die_v of_o a_o surfeit_n god_n do_v not_o always_o administer_v that_o to_o we_o which_o be_v most_o toothsome_a but_o that_o which_o be_v most_o wholesome_a not_o always_o that_o which_o be_v most_o delightful_a but_o that_o which_o be_v most_o needful_a as_o be_v hint_v by_o our_o saviour_n matt._n 6.8_o your_o father_n know_v what_o you_o have_v need_n of_o i._n e._n you_o may_v be_v sure_a of_o that_o which_o god_n know_v necessary_a and_o suitable_a to_o your_o present_a state_n and_o condition_n although_o he_o deny_v you_o that_o which_o you_o most_o desire_n a_o father_n do_v not_o always_o provide_v the_o
