and_o this_o indeed_o he_o have_v cause_n enough_o to_o suspect_v because_o by_o reason_n of_o pharaoh_n great_a power_n they_o be_v like_a enough_o to_o doubt_v much_o at_o first_o especial_o whether_o moses_n will_v be_v able_a to_o rescue_v they_o from_o their_o bondage_n the_o rather_o because_o they_o regard_v he_o so_o little_a at_o first_o when_o upon_o his_o slay_v of_o a_o egyptian_a in_o the_o defence_n of_o a_o israelit●_n he_o suppose_v his_o brethren_n will_v have_v understand_v how_o that_o god_n by_o his_o hand_n will_v deliver_v they_o as_o stephen_n say_v act._n 7._o 25._o verse_n 3._o and_o he_o say_v cast_v it_o on_o the_o ground_n etc._n etc._n the_o general_a end_n of_o this_o and_o the_o other_o follow_v sign_n be_v to_o confirm_v the_o faith_n of_o the_o israelite_n concern_v the_o call_n of_o moses_n the_o more_o special_a end_n of_o this_o first_o miracle_n of_o turn_v his_o rod_n into_o a_o serpent_n and_o then_o into_o a_o rod_n again_o be_v to_o assure_v both_o moses_n and_o the_o israelite_n that_o god_n can_v and_o will_v make_v his_o shepherd_n crook_n so_o base_a and_o contemptible_a in_o itself_o terrible_a as_o a_o serpent_n to_o pharaoh_n but_o comfortable_a to_o the_o israelite_n that_o be_v that_o the_o rod_n of_o his_o government_n shall_v affright_v the_o one_o but_o be_v the_o mean_n of_o much_o good_a and_o happiness_n unto_o the_o other_o verse_n 6._o put_v now_o thy_o hand_n into_o thy_o bosom_n etc._n etc._n the_o end_n of_o this_o sign_n be_v also_o to_o put_v they_o in_o mind_n of_o god_n almighty_a power_n who_o be_v able_a thus_o sudden_o to_o change_v thing_n whereby_o both_o the_o israelite_n may_v be_v comfort_v remember_v that_o however_o they_o have_v be_v despise_v and_o abominable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o egyptian_n yet_o god_n be_v able_a to_o give_v they_o favour_n in_o their_o sight_n and_o however_o to_o restore_v they_o to_o their_o former_a liberty_n by_o a_o outstretch_a arm_n and_o withal_o moses_n may_v be_v encourage_v as_o consider_v that_o however_o his_o estate_n may_v now_o seem_v base_a and_o contemptible_a even_o as_o a_o thing_n leprous_a and_o vile_a yet_o god_n be_v able_a to_o make_v he_o a_o glorious_a instrument_n of_o israel_n deliverance_n verse_n 10._o o_o my_o lord_n i_o be_o not_o eloquent_a etc._n etc._n that_o be_v i_o be_o not_o a_o man_n of_o a_o free_a and_o ready_a speech_n as_o it_o be_v fit_a they_o shall_v be_v that_o be_v employ_v in_o such_o a_o service_n but_o of_o a_o slow_a speech_n and_o a_o slow_a tongue_n nor_o do_v this_o contradict_v if_o thus_o understand_v that_o which_o s._n stephen_n say_v of_o moses_n act_v 7._o 22._o that_o he_o be_v mighty_a in_o word_n and_o in_o deed_n for_o a_o man_n that_o be_v of_o great_a ability_n to_o speak_v wise_o learned_o and_o perswasive_o may_v yet_o have_v some_o great_a imperfection_n in_o regard_n
