which_o meet_v with_o papist_n and_o carnal_a gospeler_n use_v their_o religion_n teach_v doubt_v they_o count_v it_o presumption_n to_o persuade_v ourselves_o firm_o and_o infallible_o that_o our_o sin_n be_v forgive_v yea_o in_o matter_n of_o faith_n they_o take_v away_o certainty_n of_o knowledge_n for_o they_o will_v not_o have_v we_o know_v the_o doctrine_n be_v true_a we_o receive_v but_o because_o the_o church_n tell_v we_o so_o which_o be_v to_o hang_v all_o upon_o the_o word_n of_o man_n who_o may_v deceive_v and_o be_v deceive_v unless_o he_o have_v a_o special_a privilege_n to_o show_v for_o all_o man_n be_v liar_n i_o know_v not_o but_o the_o church_n tell_v i_o so_o i_o can_v say_v certain_o but_o i_o hope_v well_o here_o be_v their_o certainty_n of_o doctrine_n and_o salvation_n so_o we_o have_v many_o that_o be_v half_a papist_n in_o this_o point_n they_o think_v this_o particular_a application_n but_o a_o trick_n they_o construe_v the_o creed_n all_o in_o general_a term_n for_o the_o church_n further_a than_o uncertain_a hope_n will_v say_v nothing_o of_o themselves_o for_o riches_n of_o knowledge_n they_o think_v to_o be_v able_a to_o repeat_v the_o creed_n lord_n prayer_n and_o commandment_n be_v enough_o to_o know_v they_o be_v baptize_v and_o serve_v god_n at_o home_n and_o at_o church_n deep_a knowledge_n than_o this_o belong_v to_o doctor_n and_o teacher_n in_o the_o church_n man_n of_o corrupt_a mind_n who_o will_v have_v god_n people_n lie_v in_o darkness_n of_o ignorance_n lest_o their_o own_o darkness_n shall_v be_v discern_v yea_o how_o many_o of_o the_o people_n that_o not_o be_v willing_a to_o obey_v the_o way_n of_o god_n care_v not_o for_o know_v they_o they_o be_v willing_a to_o keep_v without_o light_n that_o they_o may_v sleep_v more_o quiet_o such_o final_o who_o be_v babe_n in_o knowledge_n though_o for_o time_n they_o may_v be_v teacher_n who_o be_v ready_a to_o wag_v at_o every_o wind_n of_o doctrine_n who_o have_v all_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n in_o he_o you_o be_v complete_a or_o full_a observe_v hence_o doct._n whence_o it_o be_v that_o christ_n man_n do_v send_v out_o all_o the_o stream_n of_o grace_n and_o good_a thing_n to_o all_o his_o member_n even_o hence_o that_o this_o fountain_n dwell_v in_o he_o do_v not_o the_o divine_a nature_n which_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o create_v light_n which_o god_n have_v unite_v to_o it_o this_o must_v be_v hold_v that_o neither_o the_o omnipotent_a power_n of_o ereat_v spiritual_a grace_n nor_o yet_o the_o omnipotent_a action_n which_o do_v produce_v they_o be_v in_o the_o humane_a nature_n or_o proceed_v from_o the_o humane_a nature_n but_o in_o god_n only_o and_o from_o god_n in_o and_o with_o this_o humane_a nature_n work_v to_o the_o same_o effect_n according_a to_o the_o property_n of_o it_o as_o a_o scrivenour_n write_v with_o a_o pen_n the_o effect_n viz._n writing_n may_v be_v ascribe_v to_o the_o pen_n for_o we_o say_v this_o pen_n do_v write_v this_o but_o the_o faculty_n of_o writing_n and_o the_o proper_a action_n which_o produce_v it_o be_v in_o the_o scribe_n and_o go_v not_o from_o the_o scribe_n into_o the_o pen_n so_o here_o after_o some_o sort_n for_o the_o pen_n have_v no_o reason_n and_o will_v to_o work_v with_o the_o scribe_n in_o that_o to_o which_o it_o be_v use_v but_o he_o be_v a_o instrument_n have_v this_o humane_a understanding_n and_o will_v whereby_o he_o work_v the_o pen_n be_v a_o external_a instrument_n without_o the_o person_n of_o he_o that_o use_v it_o but_o christ_n humane_a nature_n be_v a_o internal_a instrument_n unite_v within_o the_o person_n of_o god_n the_o son_n as_o a_o part_n of_o his_o person_n as_o the_o body_n of_o a_o man_n be_v to_o his_o soul_n yea_o more_o near_o for_o death_n sever_v this_o but_o not_o the_o other_o yet_o in_o this_o they_o be_v like_a that_o one_o be_v the_o effect_n viz._n the_o thing_n write_v be_v proper_o and_o efficient_o from_o the_o scribe_n from_o the_o pen_n instrumental_o with_o efficiency_n of_o inferior_a degree_n so_o these_o divine_a work_n which_o christ_n the_o mediator_n work_v the_o chief_a virtue_n and_o action_n which_o proper_o effect_v they_o be_v in_o god_n not_o communicate_v real_o with_o the_o other_o nature_n though_o it_o do_v work_v they_o in_o this_o humane_a nature_n with_o it_o yea_o and_o by_o it_o as_o a_o most_o near_o conjoin_v instrument_n which_o within_o the_o person_n of_o god_n the_o son_n have_v his_o proper_a action_n concur_v in_o a_o inferior_a degree_n of_o efficiency_n to_o that_o which_o the_o divine_a nature_n principal_o and_o proper_o work_v god_n work_v grace_n christ-man_n work_v the_o same_o saint_n paul_n by_o lay_v on_o of_o hand_n giveth_z grace_n as_o to_o timothy_n the_o divine_a nature_n that_o creat_v they_o and_o infuse_v they_o into_o this_o or_o that_o man_n through_o christ_n man_n be_v as_o a_o common_a conceptacle_n
