wherewith_o they_o be_v usual_o join_v whereby_o nature_n defect_n shall_v be_v correct_v and_o since_o on_o the_o object_n of_o passion_n the_o motion_n excite_v in_o the_o blood_n do_v so_o sudden_o follow_v the_o impression_n they_o make_v in_o the_o brain_n although_o the_o soul_n be_v no_o way_n assistant_n it_o be_v almost_o impossible_a for_o even_o the_o wise_a man_n if_o not_o sufficient_o prepare_v to_o oppose_v they_o however_o the_o best_a way_n be_v when_o thou_o perceive_v thy_o blood_n and_o spirit_n move_v at_o the_o object_n of_o any_o passion_n to_o remember_v that_o whatsoever_o be_v present_v to_o the_o imagination_n tend_v to_o the_o delusion_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o therefore_o shall_v weigh_v the_o reason_n why_o thou_o be_v so_o on_o what_o ground_n what_o be_v the_o cause_n and_o then_o whether_o it_o be_v just_a or_o no_o and_o divert_v thyself_o by_o other_o thought_n till_o time_n have_v allay_v that_o emotion_n of_o thy_o blood_n and_o spirit_n learn_v octavian_n lesson_n to_o repeat_v the_o letter_n of_o the_o alphabet_n or_o rather_o the_o lord_n prayer_n for_o diversion_n so_o shall_v thy_o passion_n be_v smother_v for_o the_o present_a and_o reason_n will_v have_v the_o more_o space_n to_o operate_v and_o suppress_v it_o whole_o as_o elsewhere_o i_o have_v particular_o hint_v touch_v anger_n or_o thou_o shall_v counterbalance_v they_o with_o reason_n direct_o repugnant_a to_o those_o they_o represent_v or_o make_v they_o familiar_a to_o thou_o and_o follow_v the_o tract_n of_o virtue_n viz._n live_v so_o as_o thy_o conscience_n can_v accuse_v thou_o of_o not_o do_v all_o thing_n which_o thou_o judge_v to_o be_v best_a rectify_v irresolution_n remorse_n cowardice_n and_o fear_v rectify_v as_o for_o instance_n the_o remedy_n against_o irresolution_n and_o remorse_n be_v to_o accustom_v thyself_o to_o frame_v certain_a and_o determinate_a judgement_n of_o all_o thing_n that_o represent_v themselves_o and_o conceive_v thou_o do_v always_o thy_o duty_n when_o thou_o do_v what_o thou_o conceive_v best_o though_o it_o may_v be_v thou_o have_v conceive_v amiss_o as_o that_o of_o cowardice_n be_v remedy_v by_o augment_v hope_n and_o desire_n and_o fear_v by_o use_v premeditation_n so_o as_o to_o prepare_v thyself_o against_o all_o event_n so_o generosity_n check_v anger_n which_o make_v a_o man_n set_v no_o great_a value_n on_o such_o thing_n as_o
