wellspring_n of_o live_a water_n to_o drink_v puddle_n out_o of_o a_o break_a cistern_n he_o leave_v the_o sun_n to_o warm_v himself_o at_o a_o candle_n and_o depart_v from_o life_n to_o go_v into_o death_n god_n be_v truth_n and_o light_n and_o they_o that_o go_v from_o he_o run_v into_o darkness_n and_o error_n in_o he_o only_o be_v peace_n and_o happiness_n without_o he_o there_o be_v vanity_n deceive_v the_o hope_n of_o they_o that_o seek_v unto_o they_o for_o help_v when_o their_o aid_n be_v only_o seek_v after_o and_o god_n forsake_v they_o then_o lead_v we_o into_o sin_n and_o misery_n and_o there_o leave_v us._n wherefore_o miserable_a be_v the_o case_n of_o apostate_n who_o turn_v their_o back_n to_o religion_n and_o sanctity_n of_o life_n in_o as_o much_o as_o these_o education_n upon_o the_o authority_n of_o law_n and_o good_a like_n of_o man_n that_o establish_v and_o maintain_v the_o religion_n thou_o profess_v if_o this_o be_v the_o ground_n work_n of_o thy_o faith_n thou_o build_v upon_o the_o sand_n have_v thou_o no_o sound_a knowledge_n of_o religion_n thyself_o be_v thou_o unable_a to_o justify_v thy_o faith_n by_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o thy_o at_o a_o straw_n and_o leap_v over_o a_o block_n strain_n at_o a_o ceremony_n and_o neglect_v the_o substance_n of_o righteousness_n and_o judgement_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n he_o that_o be_v forward_o in_o such_o matter_n as_o gain_v applause_n make_v the_o show_n of_o his_o religion_n his_o reputation_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n where_o there_o be_v no_o notice_n take_v of_o he_o he_o live_v loose_o intemperate_o and_o unconscionable_o let_v not_o such_o a_o one_o deceive_v himself_o it_o be_v certain_a his_o heart_n be_v naught_o and_o unfaithful_a and_o when_o god_n &_o his_o religion_n have_v most_o need_n of_o he_o such_o a_o false_a friend_n will_v fail_v they_o both_o he_o that_o have_v already_o deny_v the_o power_n of_o godliness_n will_v it_o be_v any_o wonder_n if_o afterward_o he_o deny_v the_o form_n of_o it_o one_o sin_n live_v in_o without_o repentance_n be_v enough_o to_o pull_v a_o man_n to_o hell_n and_o will_v it_o not_o be_v enough_o to_o popery_n or_o any_o other_o heresy_n he_o that_o will_v not_o leave_v his_o sin_n for_o his_o religion_n sake_n will_v easy_o be_v persuade_v to_o leave_v his_o religion_n for_o his_o sin_n sake_n he_o that_o will_v not_o at_o god_n command_n or_o entreaty_n be_v
no_o other_o grace_n that_o have_v the_o proper_a office_n and_o power_n to_o uphold_v a_o man_n in_o the_o constant_a embrace_v of_o all_o holy_a duty_n and_o constant_a practice_n of_o all_o good_a work_n but_o only_a faith_n and_o therefore_o where_o that_o be_v not_o man_n must_v needs_o fall_v away_o from_o both_o that_o such_o be_v the_o force_n and_o use_v of_o true_a faith_n you_o shall_v see_v by_o consider_v the_o object_n of_o it_o 1_o all_o divine_a truth_n to_o be_v hold_v and_o profess_v in_o matter_n of_o religion_n which_o be_v above_o our_o natural_a and_o corrupt_a reason_n way_n with_o every_o wind_n of_o false_a doctrine_n raise_v up_o by_o our_o own_o foolish_a fancy_n or_o by_o the_o device_n and_o craftiness_n of_o man_n lie_v in_o wait_n to_o delude_v us._n 2_o all_o commandment_n of_o god_n touch_v our_o holy_a practice_n together_o with_o all_o the_o threaten_n if_o we_o do_v not_o obey_v and_o promise_n if_o we_o do_v now_o these_o thing_n be_v partly_o
