encouragement_n to_o seditious_a practice_n that_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a to_o contrive_v a_o religion_n which_o we_o must_v adhere_v to_o whatever_o we_o suffer_v for_o it_o that_o shall_v more_o effectual_o recommend_v the_o duty_n of_o quietness_n patience_n and_o submission_n to_o authority_n than_o the_o genuine_a religion_n of_o our_o saviour_n do_v as_o long_o therefore_o as_o the_o rule_n of_o our_o religion_n be_v so_o plain_a and_o easy_a so_o reasonable_a so_o useful_a and_o beneficial_a to_o mankind_n we_o ought_v not_o to_o lessen_v our_o esteem_n of_o it_o for_o the_o sake_n of_o any_o weak_a or_o superstitious_a or_o hypocritical_a pretender_n to_o it_o ii_o have_v thus_o far_o show_v that_o man_n disesteem_a of_o religion_n come_v from_o the_o want_n of_o about_o to_o persuade_v you_o to_o leave_v your_o estate_n and_o employment_n and_o to_o retire_v yourselves_o from_o the_o world_n and_o to_o give_v up_o yourselves_o whole_o to_o devotion_n for_o i_o do_v not_o deny_v but_o that_o they_o who_o serve_v their_o prince_n and_o their_o country_n and_o follow_v their_o lawful_a employment_n with_o a_o honest_a and_o conscientious_a diligence_n and_o neglect_v no_o necessary_a duty_n of_o religion_n do_v carry_v on_o the_o great_a end_n of_o religion_n as_o well_o as_o those_o who_o time_n and_o occasion_n will_v give_v they_o leave_v to_o devote_v themselves_o more_o to_o fast_v and_o prayer_n but_o let_v none_o think_v the_o matter_n of_o religion_n to_o belong_v to_o other_o and_o that_o they_o have_v business_n of_o another_o nature_n to_o attend_v upon_o as_o though_o pay_v their_o duty_n to_o god_n be_v fit_a only_o for_o those_o who_o have_v nothing_o else_o to_o do_v while_o job_n be_v in_o the_o height_n of_o his_o prosperity_n and_o be_v the_o great_a of_o all_o the_o man_n of_o the_o east_n 1.3_o he_o tell_v his_o friend_n how_o much_o he_o be_v employ_v in_o do_v all_o the_o good_a he_o can_v by_o work_n of_o justice_n and_o charity_n etc._n he_o be_v eye_n to_o the_o blind_a and_o foot_n to_o the_o lame_a and_o a_o father_n to_o the_o poor_a and_o the_o cause_n which_o he_o know_v not_o etc._n he_o search_v out_o yet_o he_o esteem_v the_o word_n of_o god_n mouth_n or_o the_o mean_n whereby_o his_o duty_n be_v make_v know_v to_o he_o 23.12_o more_o than_o his_o necessary_a food_n he_o have_v his_o set_a time_n of_o offer_v sacrifice_n and_o prayer_n to_o god_n 1.5_o 16.17_o and_o upon_o extraordinary_a occasion_n he_o require_v his_o child_n to_o prepare_v themselves_o for_o the_o solemn_a sacrifice_n by_o fast_v and_o prayer_n which_o be_v mean_v by_o sanctify_v they_o 1.5_o so_o that_o not_o only_o constant_a office_n of_o religion_n but_o more_o solemn_a act_n of_o devotion_n at_o certain_a season_n be_v not_o only_o agreeable_a to_o the_o ancient_a practice_n of_o the_o christian_a church_n but_o to_o the_o most_o ancient_a principle_n of_o natural_a religion_n as_o they_o be_v understand_v and_o practise_v in_o the_o time_n of_o job_n who_o be_v so_o great_a a_o person_n in_o god_n esteem_n that_o himself_o who_o know_v he_o best_o give_v that_o character_n of_o he_o that_o there_o be_v none_o like_o he_o upon_o earth_n and_o therefore_o we_o can_v follow_v a_o better_a example_n 2._o let_v we_o then_o set_v ourselves_o to_o practice_v all_o the_o know_a
