only_o tell_v you_o in_o a_o few_o word_n how_o the_o least_o measure_n of_o true_a self-denial_n may_v be_v know_v and_o in_o one_o word_n that_o be_v thus_o wherever_o the_o interest_n of_o carnal_a self_n be_v strong_a and_o more_o predominant_a habitual_o than_o the_o interest_n of_o god_n of_o christ_n of_o everlasting_a life_n there_o be_v no_o true_a self-denial_n or_o save_a grace_n but_o ordinary_o rule_v by_o god_n and_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n and_o not_o by_o carnal_a self_n which_o be_v the_o rule_n and_o master_n of_o your_o life_n who_o word_n and_o will_n be_v it_o ordinary_o that_o prevail_v when_o god_n draw_v and_o self_n draw_v which_o do_v you_o follow_v in_o the_o tenor_n of_o your_o life_n know_v this_o and_o you_o may_v know_v whether_o you_o have_v true_a self-denial_n 4._o if_o you_o have_v true_a self-denial_n the_o drift_n of_o your_o life_n be_v carry_v on_o in_o a_o successful_a opposition_n to_o carnal_a self_n so_o that_o you_o not_o only_o refuse_v to_o be_v rule_v by_o it_o and_o love_v it_o as_o your_o god_n but_o you_o fight_v against_o it_o and_o tread_v it_o down_o as_o your_o enemy_n so_o that_o you_o go_v arm_v against_o self_n in_o the_o course_n of_o your_o life_n and_o be_v strive_v against_o self_n in_o every_o duty_n and_o as_o other_o think_v it_o than_o go_v best_a with_o they_o when_o self_n be_v high_a and_o please_v best_a so_o you_o will_v know_v that_o it_o then_o go_v best_a with_o you_o when_o self_n be_v low_a and_o most_o effectual_o subdue_v 5._o if_o you_o have_v true_a self-denial_n there_o be_v
