child_n of_o the_o godly_a dye_n while_o they_o hang_v upon_o the_o breast_n or_o in_o the_o womb_n yet_o there_o be_v hope_n of_o mercy_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o promise_n but_o if_o the_o child_n of_o the_o wicked_a dye_n before_o they_o be_v of_o power_n to_o commit_v sin_n actual_o there_o be_v no_o hope_n of_o mercy_n but_o a_o fearful_a expectation_n of_o justice_n because_o there_o be_v no_o promise_n of_o mercy_n belong_v unto_o they_o you_o see_v then_o the_o reason_n why_o god_n destroy_v those_o infant_n &_o suck_a babe_n of_o sodom_n with_o this_o temporal_a judgement_n of_o fire_n &_o brimstone_n even_o because_o they_o be_v child_n of_o ungodly_a parent_n and_o if_o he_o have_v destroy_v they_o eternal_o he_o have_v do_v no_o more_o than_o in_o his_o justice_n he_o may_v because_o he_o never_o make_v promise_n of_o mercy_n unto_o they_o the_o second_o reason_n why_o god_n destroy_v these_o child_n be_v to_o increase_v the_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n of_o their_o the_o lord_n bring_v upon_o this_o country_n and_o people_n it_o be_v say_v overthrow_n that_o he_o destroy_v all_o that_o grow_v upon_o the_o earth_n or_o as_o tremelius_fw-la have_v learned_o translate_v the_o same_o word_n thus_o all_o that_o the_o earth_n bring_v forth_o and_o nourish_v all_o cattle_n and_o beast_n of_o the_o field_n all_o creep_a thing_n and_o whatsoever_o be_v upon_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n be_v destroy_v in_o this_o overthrow_n and_o here_o we_o may_v just_o wonder_v at_o the_o judgement_n of_o god_n which_o he_o extend_v not_o only_o unto_o man_n which_o have_v judgement_n &_o will_n nor_o unto_o babe_n and_o suckling_n which_o be_v taint_v with_o corruption_n by_o the_o propagation_n of_o nature_n from_o their_o parent_n but_o also_o to_o unreasonable_a creature_n which_o never_o sin_v but_o be_v subject_a to_o vanity_n against_o their_o will_n which_o do_v not_o offend_v their_o creator_n but_o follow_v the_o law_n of_o their_o creation_n and_o shall_v never_o come_v into_o judgement_n yet_o these_o creature_n as_o void_a of_o sin_n as_o of_o reason_n be_v oftentimes_o plague_v and_o destroy_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o man_n thus_o be_v the_o earth_n curse_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o adam_n thus_o be_v all_o these_o creature_n destroy_v with_o the_o flood_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o that_o age_n and_o yet_o we_o may_v say_v
