burden_n of_o sin_n be_v oftentimes_o reclaim_v from_o their_o wickedness_n with_o the_o horror_n of_o death_n judgement_n and_o the_o pain_n of_o hell_n bâ—t_v the_o virtuous_a sort_n and_o such_o as_o serve_v almighty_a god_n rather_o for_o love_v than_o fear_n be_v whole_o set_v on_o fire_n with_o the_o love_n of_o their_o redeemer_n through_o the_o remembrance_n and_o meditation_n of_o his_o that_o which_o we_o conceive_v of_o the_o bitter_a passion_n that_o he_o suffer_v for_o us._n for_o as_o a_o conqueror_n do_v rejoice_v at_o the_o remembrance_n of_o his_o battle_n so_o we_o may_v well_o think_v that_o christ_n our_o lord_n be_v delight_v when_o we_o do_v often_o remember_v his_o passion_n both_o because_o by_o so_o bloody_a a_o combat_n he_o have_v obtain_v a_o perpetual_a and_o renown_a victory_n both_o for_o himself_o and_o we_o and_o also_o because_o herein_o he_o see_v our_o thankfulness_n which_o we_o render_v unto_o he_o for_o so_o great_a a_o benefit_n four_o the_o passion_n or_o by_o consideration_n thereof_o to_o feel_v a_o inward_a delight_n whereas_o notwithstanding_o that_o avail_v little_a to_o their_o salvation_n if_o withal_o the_o affection_n compassion_n compunction_n imagination_n thanksgiving_n admiration_n hope_n and_o the_o love_n of_o god_n which_o i_o will_v explicate_v unto_o you_o brief_o and_o in_o few_o word_n to_o the_o end_n you_o may_v understand_v after_o what_o manner_n you_o may_v be_v employ_v with_o profit_n in_o these_o ensue_a meditation_n for_o by_o these_o seven_o way_n as_o by_o seven_o tooth_n the_o matter_n participate_v of_o other_o man_n grief_n and_o affliction_n feel_v the_o same_o though_o not_o in_o body_n yet_o in_o mind_n by_o which_o affection_n the_o grief_n of_o the_o patient_n seem_v to_o be_v divide_v and_o communicate_v with_o another_o and_o be_v thereby_o great_o mitigate_v and_o assuage_v as_o on_o the_o contrary_a side_n it_o be_v much_o augment_v and_o increase_v if_o either_o we_o â—eride_v he_o or_o be_v not_o move_v with_o his_o affliction_n chr_n st_o our_o saviour_n to_o diminish_v our_o sorrow_n will_v suffer_v for_o we_o and_o condole_v also_o wish_v we_o as_o the_o
