expression_n and_o intention_n for_o what_o do_v more_o advance_v the_o open_a and_o bloody_a design_n of_o the_o papist_n in_o ireland_n whereon_o the_o secret_a plot_n of_o the_o papist_n here_o do_v in_o likelihood_n depend_v than_o his_o majesty_n absent_v himself_o in_o that_o manner_n that_o he_o do_v from_o his_o parliament_n and_o set_v forth_o such_o sharp_a invective_n against_o they_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o humble_a petition_n and_o other_o mean_n which_o his_o parliament_n have_v address_v unto_o he_o for_o his_o return_n &_o for_o his_o satisfaction_n concern_v their_o proceed_n and_o what_o be_v more_o likely_a to_o give_v a_o rise_n to_o the_o design_n of_o papist_n whereof_o there_o be_v so_o many_o in_o the_o north_n near_o to_o the_o town_n of_o hull_n and_o of_o other_o malignant_a &_o ill-affected_a person_n which_o be_v ready_a to_o join_v with_o they_o or_o to_o the_o attempt_n of_o foreigner_n from_o abroad_o than_o the_o continue_n of_o that_o great_a magazine_n at_o hull_n at_o this_o time_n and_o contrary_a to_o the_o desire_n and_o advice_n of_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n so_o that_o we_o have_v too_o much_o cause_n to_o believe_v that_o the_o papist_n have_v still_o some_o way_n and_o mean_n whereby_o they_o have_v influence_n upon_o his_o majesty_n counsel_n for_o their_o own_o advantage_n for_o the_o malignant_a party_n his_o majesty_n need_v not_o a_o definition_n of_o the_o law_n nor_o yet_o a_o more_o full_a character_n of_o they_o from_o both_o house_n of_o parliament_n for_o to_o find_v they_o out_o if_o he_o will_v please_v only_o to_o apply_v the_o character_n that_o himself_o have_v make_v of_o they_o to_o those_o unto_o who_o it_o do_v proper_o &_o true_o belong_v who_o be_v so_o much_o disaffect_v to_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o kingdom_n as_o they_o that_o endeavour_v to_o disaffect_v his_o majesty_n from_o the_o house_n of_o parliament_n and_o persuade_v he_o to_o be_v at_o such_o a_o distance_n from_o they_o both_o in_o place_n and_o affection_n who_o be_v more_o dis-affected_n to_o the_o government_n of_o the_o kingdom_n than_o such_o as_o lead_v his_o majesty_n away_o from_o harken_v to_o his_o parliament_n which_o by_o the_o constitution_n of_o this_o kingdom_n be_v his_o great_a &_o best_a council_n &_o persuade_v he_o to_o follow_v the_o malicious_a counsel_n of_o some_o private_a man_n in_o oppose_v and_o contradict_v the_o wholesome_a advice_n &_o just_a proceed_n of_o that_o his_o most_o faithful_a council_n and_o high_a court_n who_o be_v they_o that_o not_o only_o neglect_v and_o despise_v but_o labour_v to_o undermine_v the_o law_n under_o colour_n of_o maintain_v of_o it_o but_o they_o that_o endeavour_n to_o destroy_v the_o fountain_n and_o conservatory_n of_o the_o law_n which_o be_v the_o parliament_n and_o who_o be_v they_o that_o set_v up_o other_o rule_n for_o themselves_o to_o walk_v by_o than_o such_o as_o be_v according_a to_o law_n but_o they_o that_o will_v make_v other_o judge_n of_o the_o law_n then_o the_o law_n have_v appoint_v and_o so_o dispense_v with_o their_o obedience_n to_o that_o which_o the_o law_n call_v authority_n and_o to_o their_o determination_n and_o resolution_n to_o who_o the_o judgement_n do_v appertain_v by_o law_n for_o when_o private_a person_n shall_v make_v the_o law_n o_o be_v their_o rule_n according_a to_o their_o own_o understanding_n contrary_a to_o the_o judgement_n of_o those_o that_o be_v competent_a judge_n thereof_o they_o set_v up_o unto_o themselves_o other_o rule_n distraction_n and_o to_o cure_v the_o distemper_n of_o this_o kingdom_n for_o the_o lord_n digby_n his_o le_z ter_z we_o do_v not_o make_v mention_n of_o it_o as_o a_o ground_n to_o hinder_v his_o majesty_n from_o visit_v his_o own_o fort_n but_o we_o appeal_v to_o the_o judgement_n of_o any_o indifferent_a man_n that_o shall_v read_v that_o letter_n and_o compare_v with_o the_o posture_n that_o his_o majesty_n then_o do_v and_o still_o do_v stand_v in_o towards_o the_o parliament_n and_o with_o the_o circumstance_n of_o that_o late_a action_n of_o his_o majesty_n in_o go_v to_o hull_n whether_o the_o advisor_n of_o that_o journey_n intend_v only_o a_o visit_n of_o that_o fort_n and_o magazine_n as_o to_o the_o way_n and_o overture_n accommodation_n and_o the_o meffage_n of_o the_o 20_o of_o january_n last_o so_o often_o press_v but_o still_o in_o vain_a as_o be_v allege_v our_o answer_n be_v that_o although_o so_o often_o as_o the_o 20._o of_o januarie_n have_v be_v press_v so_o often_o have_v our_o privilege_n be_v clear_o infringe_v that_o a_o way_n and_o method_n of_o proceed_v shall_v be_v prescribe_v unto_o we_o as_o well_o for_o the_o settle_n of_o his_o majesty_n revene_v as_o for_o the_o presedt_n of_o our_o desire_n a_o thing_n which_o in_o former_a parliament_n have_v always_o be_v except_v against_o as_o a_o breach_n of_o privilege_n pet_n in_o respect_n of_o the_o matter_n contain_v in_o that_o message_n and_o out_o of_o our_o earnest_a desire_n to_o beget_v a_o good_a understanding_n between_o his_o majesty_n and_o we_o we_o swallow_v down_o all_o matter_n of_o circumstance_n and_o have_v ere_o this_o time_n present_v the_o chief_a of_o our_o desire_n to_o his_o majesty_n have_v we_o not_o be_v inrerrupt_v with_o continual_a denial_n even_o of_o those_o thing_n that_o be_v necessary_a for_o our_o present_a security_n and_o subsistence_n and_o have_v not_o those_o denial_n be_v follow_v with_o perpetual_a invective_n against_o we_o and_o our_o proceed_n and_o have_v not_o those_o invective_n be_v beap_v upon_o we_o so_o thick_a one_o after_o another_o who_o be_v already_o in_o a_o manner_n whole_o take_v up_o with_o the_o press_a affair_n of_o this_o kingdom_n
