be_v proper_o the_o defendant_n to_o the_o end_n that_o more_o clear_a contentment_n therein_o may_v be_v give_v we_o be_v very_o diligent_o to_o examine_v the_o lawful_a dementy_n or_o lie_n and_o by_o this_o examination_n remember_v ourselves_o if_o it_o be_v convenient_a of_o those_o thing_n which_o before_o we_o have_v treat_v of_o and_o of_o their_o manner_n and_o principal_o of_o the_o proper_a nature_n of_o the_o lie_n the_o which_o be_v to_o put_v back_o the_o injury_n and_o
when_o it_o do_v not_o this_o office_n it_o become_v of_o itself_o a_o injury_n and_o with_o another_o lie_v the_o same_o may_v be_v repel_v and_o upon_o this_o consideration_n i_o say_v that_o the_o lie_n may_v be_v give_v in_o the_o affirmative_a and_o so_o upon_o the_o negative_a and_o sometime_o it_o fall_v out_o that_o upon_o the_o affirmative_a it_o can_v be_v give_v and_o sometime_o upon_o the_o negative_a it_o have_v no_o place_n and_o so_o consequentlye_o both_o here_o and_o there_o be_v give_v it_o may_v be_v wre_v and_o send_v back_o and_o yet_o it_o may_v be_v give_v both_o in_o the_o affirmation_n and_o negation_n in_o the_o same_o quarrel_n without_o that_o it_o may_v be_v subject_n to_o any_o repulse_n of_o either_o of_o the_o party_n and_o here_o of_o each_o my_o opinion_n i_o will_v give_v a_o example_n the_o lie_v lawful_o give_v upon_o the_o affirmative_a be_v such_o as_o before_o we_o have_v set_v down_o more_o than_o in_o one_o manner_n one_o say_v of_o another_o that_o he_o be_v a_o rebel_n unto_o his_o lord_n he_o who_o answer_v say_v that_o he_o lie_v this_o lie_n can_v be_v avoid_v be_v that_o it_o be_v give_v in_o the_o repulse_n of_o the_o slander_n which_o be_v lay_v upon_o he_o but_o if_o i_o shall_v say_v of_o any_o man_n that_o he_o be_v a_o honest_a man_n &_o one_o shall_v give_v i_o the_o lie_v upon_o these_o word_n in_o this_o it_o require_v not_o repulse_n but_o a_o injury_n and_o i_o may_v say_v that_o he_o shall_v lie_v that_o think_v that_o i_o shall_v lie_v now_o be_v it_o his_o part_n to_o prove_v that_o he_o be_v not_o a_o honest_a man_n as_o well_o by_o reason_n i_o give_v he_o cause_n of_o injury_n as_o also_o that_o it_o be_v presume_v of_o every_o one_o that_o he_o be_v honest_a if_o the_o contrary_n can_v be_v apparent_o prove_v and_o whosoever_o say_v that_o another_o be_v unhonest_a must_v prove_v his_o fault_n therein_o commit_v for_o the_o which_o he_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v esteem_v a_o honest_a man_n now_o let_v we_o pass_v over_o to_o the_o lie_v which_o be_v give_v upon_o the_o negative_a whether_o they_o be_v lawful_a or_o lawful_o may_v be_v turn_v back_o or_o no_o as_o if_o one_o shall_v say_v of_o i_o that_o in_o some_o matter_n of_o arm_n or_o fight_v i_o do_v not_o my_o duty_n and_o i_o shall_v answer_v he_o with_o the_o lie_n the_o same_o shall_v be_v a_o most_o lawful_a answer_n for_o that_o in_o that_o speech_n that_o i_o have_v not_o do_v my_o duty_n he_o put_v on_o my_o back_n no_o small_a burden_n of_o infamy_n wherein_o it_o shall_v be_v most_o lawful_a and_o convenient_a that_o i_o shall_v discharge_v myself_o with_o the_o lie_n and_o here_o the_o repulse_n of_o a_o injury_n be_v the_o lie_n and_o the_o presumption_n be_v in_o my_o favour_n and_o that_o a_o man_n must_v not_o presume_v of_o another_o but_o that_o he_o do_v his_o duty_n in_o all_o respect_n whosoever_o go_v about_o to_o give_v i_o that_o blame_n to_o he_o it_o appertain_v to_o be_v esteem_v challenger_n but_o if_o one_o say_v that_o he_o have_v not_o fail_v in_o his_o loyalty_n to_o his_o lord_n and_o i_o shall_v answer_v he_o that_o he_o lie_v he_o may_v say_v unto_o i_o thou_o now_o it_o rest_v that_o we_o show_v unto_o you_o the_o example_n of_o these_o case_n in_o which_o in_o every_o and_o the_o self_n same_o quarrel_n both_o upon_o the_o affirmation_n and_o negation_n you_o may_v give_v the_o lie_n that_o neither_o of_o the_o one_o side_n nor_o the_o other_o there_o be_v any_o mean_n or_o way_n leave_v to_o give_v they_o the_o repulse_n and_o it_o be_v thus_o two_o gentleman_n or_o cavalier_n be_v bring_v to_o the_o steccata_n to_o fight_v there_o be_v weapon_n present_v unto_o they_o upon_o the_o which_o they_o reason_n and_o debate_n between_o themselves_o think_v before_o i_o will_v speak_v thereof_o any_o thing_n at_o all_o i_o do_v adjudge_v he_o a_o ill_o bring_v up_o gentleman_n who_o feel_v himself_o to_o be_v charge_v with_o any_o blot_n of_o
