anent_o the_o proper_a bound_n and_o limit_n of_o these_o two_o arts._n as_o to_o which_o the_o petitioner_n humble_o represent_v to_o the_o say_n lord_n 1._o that_o if_o the_o surgeon_n and_o apothecary_n have_v be_v erect_v in_o ancient_a and_o distinct_a craft_n or_o art_n within_o burgh_n in_o general_a term_n viz._n that_o such_o a_o society_n and_o company_n shall_v be_v surgeon_n and_o such_o a_o society_n and_o company_n appothecary_n and_o that_o a_o question_n have_v then_o arisen_a betwixt_o they_o in_o any_o point_n or_o point_n which_o each_o of_o they_o have_v contend_v to_o be_v one_fw-mi proper_a point_n of_o their_o art_n or_o to_o be_v common_a to_o both_o that_o in_o such_o a_o case_n of_o general_a gift_n and_o concession_n their_o might_n be_v some_o ground_n of_o call_v physician_n to_o give_v opinion_n in_o what_o may_v be_v proper_a to_o either_o calling_n or_o common_a to_o both_o but_o here_o it_o be_v uncontravect_v that_o the_o surgeon_n have_v petitioner_n conceive_v the_o say_a lord_n their_o interloquitor_n as_o found_v upon_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o thing_n and_o the_o opinion_n of_o the_o physician_n be_v no_o way_n controvert_v but_o it_o be_v humble_o represent_v to_o the_o say_n lord_n that_o this_o debate_n be_v found_v upon_o the_o privilege_n grant_v by_o the_o town_n of_o edinburgh_n as_o have_v right_o from_o his_o majesty_n to_o grant_v the_o same_o be_v yet_o entire_a and_o that_o because_o neither_o do_v the_o lord_n read_v and_o consider_v at_o the_o advise_v of_o the_o cause_n the_o right_o found_v upon_o
