present_a call_n of_o god_n unto_o repentance_n and_o so_o promote_v the_o work_n of_o a_o visible_a reformation_n as_o eminent_o to_o help_v in_o save_v of_o the_o nation_n from_o approach_a judgement_n and_o therein_o of_o they_o also_o who_o design_n their_o trouble_n and_o i_o doubt_v not_o but_o most_o of_o they_o be_v already_o engage_v and_o forward_o herein_o this_o shall_v be_v our_o testimony_n and_o our_o peace_n in_o whatever_o may_v befall_v we_o in_o this_o world_n let_v we_o not_o satisfy_v ourselves_o that_o our_o congregation_n be_v in_o so_o good_a a_o posture_n departure_n from_o they_o that_o hate_v to_o be_v reform_v it_o be_v a_o fond_a imagination_n that_o church_n may_v render_v their_o communion_n useless_a and_o dangerous_a only_o by_o heresy_n tyranny_n and_o false_a worship_n a_o evil_a worldly_n corrupt_a conversation_n in_o the_o generality_n of_o their_o member_n contrary_a to_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n not_o oppose_v and_o contradict_v by_o a_o constant_a endeavour_n for_o sincere_a reformation_n be_v no_o less_o ruinous_a unto_o the_o be_v of_o church_n than_o any_o of_o these_o other_o evil_n on_o these_o and_o such_o like_a consideration_n i_o be_v not_o willing_a that_o this_o plain_a discourse_n shall_v be_v expose_v to_o public_a view_n hope_v that_o it_o may_v stir_v up_o other_o of_o great_a ability_n and_o opportunity_n more_o effectual_o to_o pursue_v the_o same_o design_n i_o do_v not_o think_v it_o needful_a to_o make_v any_o apology_n for_o the_o plainness_n both_o of_o the_o matter_n and_o style_n in_o this_o small_a treatise_n the_o least_o endeavour_n to_o attire_v a_o discourse_n of_o this_o nature_n with_o the_o ornament_n of_o speech_n or_o language_n be_v even_o ridiculous_a it_o be_v more_o fit_a to_o bear_v the_o furrow_n of_o sigh_n and_o and_o tear_n than_o to_o be_v smooth_v and_o flourish_v with_o the_o oily_a colour_n of_o elegance_n and_o rhetoric_n and_o as_o for_o the_o obvious_a plainness_n of_o the_o matter_n contain_v in_o it_o it_o be_v suit_v as_o i_o judge_v unto_o they_o who_o good_a be_v principal_o design_v therein_o plain_a man_n have_v sin_v as_o well_o as_o other_o though_o it_o may_v be_v not_o unto_o so_o high_a a_o degree_n nor_o in_o such_o a_o outrage_n of_o excess_n however_o on_o many_o consideration_n they_o be_v likely_a first_o to_o suffer_v unless_o
