thing_n do_v thou_o in_o all_o these_o ten_o book_n whereby_o thou_o snatche_v away_o out_o of_o the_o hand_n study_n mind_n and_o conscience_n of_o man_n and_o out_o of_o the_o earth_n as_o the_o sun_n out_o of_o the_o world_n that_o most_o glorious_a light_n of_o our_o free_a justification_n purchase_v by_o the_o great_a bounty_n of_o christ_n and_o confirm_v by_o the_o eternal_a covenant_n of_o god_n which_o be_v take_v away_o i_o see_v not_o what_o thou_o leave_v remain_v to_o we_o but_o cimmerian_a and_o osorian_a darkness_n in_o which_o we_o may_v grope_v like_o blind_a mole_n which_o endeavour_n of_o thou_o though_o of_o themselves_o be_v vain_a and_o frivolous_a there_o be_v no_o great_a cause_n why_o they_o shall_v be_v fear_v in_o their_o opposition_n against_o the_o nature_n can_v root_v out_o all_o his_o lust_n and_o utter_o cut_v off_o all_o their_o enticement_n and_o so_o contain_v himself_o within_o the_o bound_n of_o his_o duty_n that_o he_o can_v equalise_v those_o habitation_n of_o eternal_a glory_n with_o a_o proportionable_a dignity_n of_o righteousness_n or_o dare_v promise_v they_o to_o himself_o upon_o such_o a_o account_n unless_o the_o bounty_n of_o god_n have_v free_o put_v this_o honour_n upon_o we_o o_o be_v not_o of_o such_o a_o opinion_n this_o be_v not_o the_o way_n to_o heaven_n either_o you_o must_v change_v your_o mind_n or_o lay_v down_o this_o hope_n howbeit_o this_o opinion_n seem_v not_o to_o be_v you_o only_o but_o common_a to_o you_o with_o many_o to_o wit_n the_o late_a school-divines_a especial_o those_o who_o have_v a_o great_a veneration_n for_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o pope_n than_o the_o write_n of_o the_o apostle_n who_o be_v all_o infect_a righteousness_n with_o the_o same_o contagion_n of_o error_n do_v bold_o profess_v the_o same_o that_o you_o affirm_v but_o yet_o all_o of_o they_o do_v not_o proceed_v in_o the_o same_o manner_n and_o method_n those_o do_v so_o frame_v their_o notion_n that_o all_o man_n may_v understand_v they_o be_v the_o profess_a enemy_n of_o divine_a grace_n and_o our_o free_a justification_n in_o christ_n which_o they_o hiss_v out_o of_o the_o school_n and_o open_o anathamatize_v your_o arguing_n be_v somewhat_o different_a though_o you_o have_v undertake_v obstinate_o to_o maintain_v the_o same_o thing_n that_o they_o do_v but_o you_o hide_v the_o same_o venom_n with_o a_o more_o subtle_a artifice_n so_o that_o it_o insinuate_v more_o easy_o and_o lie_v less_o open_a to_o rebuke_v for_o i_o see_v you_o righteousness_n write_v book_n concern_v righteousness_n and_o those_o not_o a_o few_o nor_o unpolished_a when_o i_o look_v on_o the_o argument_n i_o see_v it_o be_v honourable_a and_o plausible_a when_o i_o look_v into_o your_o manner_n of_o speech_n your_o paint_a eloquence_n and_o laudatory_a amplification_n wherewith_o you_o adorn_v the_o glory_n loveliness_n and_o beauty_n of_o righteousness_n with_o a_o tragedian-like_a sublimity_n of_o style_n i_o confess_v this_o be_v not_o unworthy_a of_o praise_n for_o who_o shall_v not_o deserve_o praise_v he_o who_o he_o see_v so_o inflame_v with_o the_o praise_n of_o righteousness_n but_o if_o any_o man_n look_v more_o inward_o and_o consider_v with_o himself_o according_a to_o right_a reason_n with_o what_o mind_n for_o what_o end_n for_o what_o pretence_n and_o with_o what_o argument_n you_o maintain_v those_o part_n of_o righteousness_n so_o much_o praise_v and_o compare_v they_o with_o the_o gospel_n of_o christ_n he_o will_v be_v force_v to_o acknowledge_v that_o you_o be_v defective_a in_o many_o thing_n if_o you_o will_v permit_v i_o brief_o to_o give_v my_o opinion_n of_o the_o whole_a frame_n of_o this_o work_n though_o you_o have_v little_a regard_n to_o what_o my_o censure_n be_v yet_o if_o you_o will_v allow_v i_o to_o speak_v free_o to_o you_o as_o become_v i_o i_o will_v do_v it_o according_a to_o my_o duty_n and_o i_o will_v so_o do_v it_o that_o you_o yourself_o may_v perceive_v that_o there_o be_v nothing_o less_o in_o my_o design_n in_o write_v to_o you_o than_o a_o perverse_a inclination_n to_o find_v fault_n gospel_n be_v not_o apprehend_v so_o easy_o because_o the_o nature_n of_o both_o be_v very_o different_a moreover_o you_o may_v see_v many_o who_o follow_v the_o guidance_n of_o nature_n and_o her_o precept_n more_o than_o be_v meet_v do_v teach_v and_o dispute_v of_o thing_n belong_v to_o the_o gospel_n just_a as_o if_o a_o philosopher_n shall_v discourse_v of_o the_o principle_n of_o nature_n or_o a_o moralist_n of_o the_o perfection_n of_o virtue_n in_o which_o they_o place_v their_o chief_a good_a or_o as_o if_o a_o pharisee_fw-mi sit_v in_o the_o chair_n of_o moses_n shall_v dispute_v about_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n but_o there_o will_v be_v another_o occasion_n of_o treat_v of_o these_o thing_n if_o opportunity_n be_v grant_v in_o the_o mean_a while_n that_o i_o may_v speak_v ingenuous_o of_o thou_o o_o osorius_n with_o how_o much_o the_o great_a natural_a part_n god_n in_o his_o bounty_n have_v adorn_v thou_o and_o heap_v upon_o thou_o it_o be_v the_o more_o remedy_n you_o affirm_v there_o be_v no_o other_o way_n but_o that_o only_a of_o become_v like_a unto_o god_n and_o be_v unite_v unto_o he_o and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o only_a way_n of_o a_o
