of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o grace_n how_o so_o according_a to_o the_o pleasure_n of_o his_o will_n to_o show_v that_o he_o work_v free_o in_o the_o business_n without_o impulsion_n or_o the_o jew_n to_o check_v their_o folly_n and_o presumption_n who_o in_o a_o kind_n of_o envious_a pride_n restrain_v election_n and_o salvation_n to_o themselves_o alone_o as_o if_o no_o other_o people_n shall_v be_v save_v but_o they_o and_o in_o savour_n of_o the_o gentile_n over_o who_o the_o jew_n insult_v as_o a_o reject_a and_o a_o lose_a people_n forbid_v the_o gospel_n to_o be_v preach_v to_o they_o will_v not_o endure_v to_o hear_v of_o turn_v to_o the_o gentile_n therefore_o to_o check_v the_o one_o and_o cheer_v the_o other_o as_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o time_n require_v the_o apostle_n tell_v they_o god_n will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o be_v save_v as_o well_o the_o gentile_n as_o the_o jew_n without_o exception_n 3._o or_o if_o he_o will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o be_v save_v of_o all_o sort_n and_o of_o all_o nation_n how_o be_v it_o that_o they_o be_v not_o save_v for_o who_o have_v resist_v his_o will_n assure_o my_o brethren_n if_o god_n will_v have_v all_o man_n to_o be_v save_v all_o man_n universal_o it_o be_v because_o he_o can_v save_v they_o that_o they_o be_v not_o save_v the_o only_a cause_n why_o any_o one_o do_v not_o what_o he_o desire_v and_o will_n to_o do_v be_v because_o there_o be_v a_o fail_v in_o his_o power_n and_o be_v it_o not_o for_o want_v of_o this_o there_o be_v no_o one_o in_o the_o world_n but_o will_v bring_v his_o will_n to_o pass_v and_o therefore_o to_o affirm_v that_o god_n desire_n and_o will_n that_o all_o man_n shall_v be_v save_v without_o exception_n and_o that_o the_o reason_n why_o he_o do_v not_o save_v they_o be_v the_o obstinacy_n and_o perverseness_n of_o their_o will_n by_o which_o they_o final_o resist_v the_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o hinder_v god_n from_o do_v his_o desire_n and_o but_o he_o do_v not_o only_o leave_v they_o in_o their_o sin_n but_o determine_v to_o condemn_v they_o for_o their_o sin_n in_o the_o pit_n of_o hell_n for_o ever_o and_o be_v not_o this_o a_o piece_n of_o justice_n to_o condemn_v they_o for_o their_o sin_n do_v not_o their_o sin_n deserve_v the_o condemnation_n so_o that_o if_o you_o look_v one_o way_n he_o be_v merciful_a and_o if_o you_o look_v the_o other_o he_o be_v just_a and_o if_o you_o lay_v they_o both_o together_o mercy_n triumph_v over_o justice_n the_o lord_n be_v infinite_o gracious_a that_o any_o be_v appoint_v to_o salvation_n and_o he_o have_v be_v but_o righteous_a if_o all_o have_v be_v appoint_v to_o destruction_n true_o he_o reject_v more_o than_o he_o elect_v but_o mercy_n be_v more_o glorious_a in_o elect_v one_o sufferer_n so_o that_o in_o property_n of_o speech_n the_o lord_n have_v not_o receive_v a_o ransom_n for_o any_o reprobate_n christ_n pay_v it_o not_o for_o any_o such_o he_o pray_v not_o for_o the_o world_n and_o much_o less_o do_v he_o pay_v for_o they_o the_o father_n take_v it_o not_o for_o any_o such_o but_o only_o for_o his_o own_o elect_n who_o shall_v assure_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o the_o glory_n purchase_v by_o be_v unto_o all_o eternity_n there_o be_v many_o more_o objection_n but_o some_o be_v frivolous_a and_o some_o blasphemous_a the_o thought_n of_o man_n will_v work_v without_o measure_n and_o without_o end_n upon_o such_o point_n as_o these_o be_v but_o i_o must_v silence_v all_o of_o they_o with_o
themselves_o with_o other_o more_o loose_a and_o vicious_a than_o themselves_o they_o rejoice_v in_o another_o and_o not_o in_o themselves_o they_o think_v themselves_o be_v very_o good_a because_o other_o be_v more_o evil_a and_o even_o as_o jerusalem_n justify_v sodom_n ezek._n 16.5_o so_o drunkard_n and_o adulterer_n justify_v they_o and_o be_v occasion_n of_o their_o joy_n other_o there_o be_v who_o find_v that_o they_o have_v obtain_v a_o good_a opinion_n and_o repute_n with_o other_o and_o that_o they_o be_v approve_v by_o man_n of_o judgement_n and_o of_o conscience_n too_o be_v comfort_v in_o this_o exceed_o and_o here_o be_v the_o foundation_n of_o their_o joy_n oh_o such_o a_o godly_a man_n or_o such_o a_o minister_n approve_v of_o they_o and_o be_v familiar_a to_o they_o and_o hence_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o when_o they_o once_o begin_v to_o lose_v the_o good_a opinion_n and_o conceit_n of_o man_n they_o be_v like_o person_n stracken_v in_o the_o head_n their_o joy_n be_v blast_v and_o their_o comfort_n go_v because_o the_o ground_n and_o matter_n of_o it_o be_v without_o and_o not_o within_o o_o then_o let_v we_o endeavour_v my_o belove_a to_o have_v our_o comfort_n in_o ourselves_o and_o if_o it_o have_v a_o spring_n and_o fountain_n in_o the_o heart_n it_o will_v not_o fail_v there_o will_v be_v a_o sufficient_a supply_n of_o joy_n and_o comfort_v there_o though_o man_n neglect_v we_o and_o cast_v away_o their_o good_a opinion_n of_o we_o whereas_o if_o it_o proceed_v from_o that_o which_o be_v without_o we_o it_o will_v be_v like_o a_o stand_a pool_n that_o be_v not_o nourish_v with_o the_o spring_n but_o with_o a_o sudden_a fall_n of_o rain_n assoon_o as_o heat_v of_o summer_n come_v away_o it_o dri_v and_o be_v see_v no_o more_o and_o now_o my_o brethren_n have_v prove_v your_o joy_n and_o find_v it_o to_o be_v right_a the_o joy_n of_o christ_n which_o he_o will_v have_v to_o be_v fulfil_v in_o you_o preserve_v it_o as_o your_o life_n and_o see_v that_o neither_o sin_n nor_o satan_n steal_v away_o this_o jewel_n from_o you_o and_o to_o this_o end_n you_o must_v especial_o beware_v of_o sin_v against_o conscience_n which_o be_v the_o subject_n and_o the_o seat_n of_o joy_n as_o long_o as_o you_o do_v well_o to_o conscience_n conscience_n will_v say_v well_o to_o you_o but_o if_o you_o wound_v your_o conscience_n with_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n conscience_n will_v wound_v you_o with_o the_o horror_n and_o the_o sting_n of_o sin_n and_o if_o by_o sin_v against_o light_n you_o waste_v your_o conscience_n in_o regard_n of_o grace_n conscience_n will_v waste_v you_o in_o regard_n of_o peace_n and_o comfort_n yea_o it_o may_v set_v you_o on_o the_o rack_n of_o such_o affrightment_n as_o no_o tongue_n be_v sufficient_a to_o express_v what_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o david_n cry_v so_o often_o in_o his_o bone_n and_o in_o his_o heart_n that_o they_o be_v break_v that_o it_o be_v melt_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o his_o bowel_n but_o because_o he_o sin_v so_o gross_o against_o the_o light_n of_o his_o own_o understanding_n and_o the_o conviction_n of_o his_o own_o conscience_n but_o if_o in_o sincerity_n you_o have_v your_o conversation_n in_o the_o world_n this_o will_v be_v your_o rejoice_v and_o if_o you_o walk_v according_a to_o the_o rule_n peace_n shall_v be_v upon_o you_o as_o upon_o the_o israel_n of_o god_n this_o joy_n of_o christ_n shall_v be_v fulfil_v in_o you_o and_o your_o joy_n shall_v none_o take_v from_o you_o and_o thus_o we_o have_v dispatch_v the_o first_o and_o second_o observation_n what_o it_o this_o to_o we_o in_o these_o time_n yes_o my_o belove_a it_o be_v much_o to_o they_o even_o after_o christ_n departure_n for_o the_o fulfil_n of_o their_o joy_n for_o when_o he_o be_v ascend_v into_o heaven_n they_o can_v on_o all_o occasion_n reflect_v upon_o the_o prayer_n that_o they_o hear_v he_o make_v in_o their_o behalf_n while_o he_o be_v conversant_a upon_o the_o earth_n when_o they_o be_v in_o any_o fear_n or_o any_o danger_n when_o they_o be_v even_o ready_a to_o be_v overcome_v with_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n they_o can_v consider_v with_o themselves_o we_o perfect_o remember_v that_o while_o our_o master_n be_v among_o we_o we_o hear_v he_o earnest_o beseech_v his_o father_n for_o we_o that_o he_o will_v keep_v we_o and_o that_o he_o will_v comfort_v we_o and_o that_o he_o will_v sanctify_v we_o and_o that_o he_o will_v save_v we_o as_o all_o those_o thing_n and_o many_o more_o you_o shall_v observe_v along_o the_o current_n of_o his_o prayer_n here_o and_o people_n which_o he_o have_v leave_v behind_o he_o for_o we_o to_o look_v upon_o on_o all_o occasion_n and_o to_o gather_v comfort_n from_o what_o he_o do_v in_o heaven_n for_o we_o we_o be_v not_o brethren_n it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o god_n he_o be_v all_o beautiful_a and_o all_o allure_a altogether_o lovely_a other_o be_v so_o in_o some_o respect_n but_o he_o be_v so_o in_o all_o respect_n he_o be_v altogether_o lovely_a the_o allurement_n of_o all_o heart_n and_o the_o desire_n of_o all_o nation_n hag._n 2.7_o so_o he_o be_v always_o in_o the_o merit_n although_o he_o be_v not_o
