15._o etc._n etc._n when_o he_o mention_v jesus_n christ_n ver_fw-la 23._o heb._n 4._o 2_o 3._o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v to_o the_o jew_n in_o the_o wilderness_n who_o yet_o have_v little_a of_o that_o which_o now_o be_v the_o substance_n of_o our_o creed_n about_o christ_n prop._n xii_o that_o repentance_n which_o god_n requirerh_n now_o of_o all_o man_n even_a they_o that_o never_o hear_v the_o gospel_n be_v not_o a_o hellish_a judas-like_a despair_a repentance_n such_o as_o be_v due_a according_a to_o the_o violate_a law_n of_o work_n but_o it_o be_v a_o repentance_n that_o be_v appoint_v as_o mean_n towards_o recovery_n and_o therefore_o have_v a_o tendency_n to_o salvation_n god_n mercy_n lead_v to_o repentance_n but_o not_o to_o a_o despair_a repentance_n for_o they_o contradict_v that_o all_o the_o precept_n of_o repentance_n prove_v this_o and_o the_o course_n of_o god_n deal_n and_o indeed_o else_o all_o the_o remnant_n of_o religion_n will_v be_v banish_v out_o of_o the_o world_n for_o despair_v man_n will_v not_o worship_n god_n nor_o seek_v to_o please_v he_o nor_o forbear_v sin_v but_o will_v hate_v god_n and_o live_v like_o devil_n and_o sin_n while_o they_o may_v without_o voluntary_a restraint_n all_o the_o sacrifice_n that_o the_o heathen_n offer_v and_o all_o their_o prayer_n and_o conscience_n of_o sin_v show_v the_o king_n will_v do_v if_o these_o man_n reject_v unthankful_o this_o favour_n and_o abuse_v the_o messenger_n and_o persist_v in_o rebellion_n be_v it_o not_o just_a with_o the_o king_n to_o forbid_v the_o herald_n that_o he_o proclaim_v not_o to_o they_o the_o act_n of_o oblivion_n and_o be_v it_o not_o long_o of_o themselves_o if_o they_o never_o hear_v it_o nor_o have_v any_o benefit_n by_o it_o so_o be_v it_o in_o the_o present_a case_n by_o the_o abuse_n of_o sufficient_a grace_n to_o have_v come_v near_a christ_n do_v the_o pagan_n forfeit_v all_o other_o fruit_n of_o his_o
