can_v without_o the_o influence_n of_o a_o deity_n be_v reasonable_o presume_v to_o have_v power_n to_o move_v and_o act_v also_o although_o these_o instance_n of_o fire_n of_o loadstone_n and_o of_o sport_n may_v serve_v to_o bring_v to_o our_o conceit_n something_o of_o the_o manner_n of_o appearance_n of_o god_n omnipotency_n in_o his_o work_n of_o providence_n and_o government_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o be_v themselves_o but_o create_v body_n and_o virtue_n they_o must_v in_o proportion_n of_o vigour_n even_o in_o that_o kind_n wherein_o they_o so_o much_o excel_v all_o other_o thing_n say_v from_o the_o experience_n of_o so_o many_o constant_a effect_n proceed_v from_o such_o or_o such_o a_o immediate_a agent_n to_o conclude_v that_o to_o be_v the_o sole_a cause_n thereof_o it_o be_v therefore_o hard_a for_o we_o to_o look_v beyond_o that_o present_a cause_n especial_o if_o its_o cause_n have_v but_o few_o effect_n and_o those_o hardly_o remarkable_a and_o so_o to_o look_v on_o till_o we_o come_v to_o god_n the_o cause_n of_o all_o as_o for_o example_n can_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o loadstone_n upon_o iron_n or_o the_o mariner_n needle_n have_v be_v to_o invisible_o repeat_v as_o no_o man_n can_v have_v by_o present_a sense_n know_v it_o to_o be_v the_o cause_n we_o shall_v beyond_o all_o peradventure_o from_o the_o constancy_n of_o effect_n proceed_v from_o heat_n and_o of_o the_o influence_n of_o the_o superior_a body_n nor_o susceptibility_n of_o the_o low_a element_n as_o several_o mingle_v tell_v from_o thence_o that_o such_o and_o such_o species_n must_v be_v produce_v or_o that_o again_o can_v tell_v that_o these_o principle_n we_o find_v in_o nature_n be_v necessary_o to_o be_v such_o and_o so_o many_o for_o maintenance_n of_o the_o effect_n of_o unity_n and_o propriety_n of_o place_n as_o those_o be_v again_o for_o maintenance_n of_o creation_n we_o i_o say_v can_v be_v wonder_v at_o for_o not_o be_v able_a to_o forejudge_v more_o or_o other_o species_n in_o nature_n than_o those_o we_o know_v by_o sense_n and_o that_o also_o in_o production_n near_o we_o and_o since_o in_o our_o most_o ordinary_a and_o familiar_a sport_n as_o aforesaid_a we_o can_v judge_v of_o event_n although_o their_o true_a cause_n be_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o present_a sense_n we_o be_v still_o less_o to_o be_v wonder_v at_o when_o ignorance_n and_o doubt_n shall_v often_o arise_v of_o a_o cause_n so_o far_o of_o which_o be_v never_o but_o by_o way_n of_o miracle_n make_v the_o author_n of_o any_o immediate_a effect_n whereas_o in_o truth_n
