and_o get_v his_o father_n venison_n and_o tell_v he_o nothing_o but_o truth_n but_o jacob_n never_o go_v to_o hunt_v but_o get_v a_o kid_n dress_v and_o come_v to_o his_o father_n with_o it_o and_o while_o he_o talk_v with_o his_o father_n do_v foul_o gloase_a and_o lie_v so_o that_o in_o all_o reason_n it_o may_v seem_v that_o esau_n deserve_v the_o better_a blessing_n yet_o god_n will_v have_v it_o otherwise_o and_o the_o principal_a blessing_n belong_v to_o jacob_n wherein_o we_o may_v note_v that_o god_n special_a love_n to_o man_n whereby_o he_o receive_v he_o into_o his_o covenaunt_n be_v not_o ground_v on_o man_n behaviour_n but_o on_o his_o own_o good_a will_n and_o pleasure_n second_o in_o that_o jacob_n here_o have_v the_o principal_a blessing_n we_o learn_v that_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n be_v not_o thus_o to_o be_v extol_v as_o a_o fruit_n of_o faith_n answer_n true_a it_o be_v the_o heathen_a have_v do_v many_o work_n of_o justice_n but_o we_o must_v wise_o consider_v that_o every_o just_a work_n be_v not_o a_o fruit_n of_o faith_n unless_o it_o be_v do_v by_o a_o righteous_a person_n in_o obedience_n to_o god_n and_o for_o his_o glory_n but_o in_o all_o these_o the_o heathen_a fail_v in_o their_o work_n for_o though_o the_o thing_n they_o do_v be_v good_a in_o themselves_o yet_o see_v the_o heathen_a be_v corrupt_a tree_n remain_v in_o the_o sinful_a overthrow_v his_o persecutor_n by_o many_o legion_n of_o angel_n yet_o he_o will_v not_o but_o only_o use_v the_o poor_a help_n of_o joseph_n and_o marie_n with_o the_o ordinary_a weak_a mean_n of_o child_n three_o month_n they_o show_v forth_o lively_a faith_n but_o when_o as_o they_o expose_v he_o to_o danger_n for_o their_o own_o safety_n herein_o they_o bewray_v some_o want_n of_o love_n and_o weakness_n of_o faith_n and_o yet_o we_o see_v they_o be_v here_o commend_v for_o their_o faith_n which_o show_v plain_o that_o if_o a_o man_n have_v true_a and_o sound_a faith_n though_o it_o be_v but_o weak_a yet_o god_n in_o mercy_n will_v take_v knowledge_n of_o it_o and_o commend_v it_o pass_v by_o the_o weakness_n of_o it_o yea_o and_o unto_o that_o faith_n will_v give_v the_o it_o thou_o evil_a servant_n for_o thou_o do_v not_o hide_v but_o consume_v thy_o master_n talon_n employ_v it_o to_o his_o dishonour_n therefore_o it_o shall_v be_v take_v from_o thou_o and_o in_o affection_n experience_n show_v that_o many_o through_o anger_n and_o joy_n have_v lose_v their_o life_n some_o for_o fear_n have_v forsake_v religion_n and_o sorrow_n have_v cost_v many_o a_o man_n his_o life_n yea_o any_o affection_n if_o it_o be_v not_o moderate_v and_o stay_v will_v bereave_v a_o man_n of_o his_o sense_n and_o make_v he_o a_o beast_n and_o no_o man_n but_o behold_v the_o use_n and_o power_n of_o true_a faith_n it_o serve_v to_o mitigate_v a_o man_n affection_n so_o as_o if_o a_o man_n be_v angry_a it_o shall_v be_v with_o moderation_n and_o so_o we_o may_v say_v of_o fear_n joy_n hatred_n or_o any_o other_o affection_n faith_n will_v assuage_v and_o stay_v the_o rage_n thereof_o for_o undoubted_o moses_n parent_n may_v have_v be_v overwhelm_v with_o fear_n of_o pharaoh_n tyranny_n and_o cruelty_n but_o that_o god_n give_v they_o faith_n which_o do_v moderate_v this_o fear_n there_o be_v none_o of_o we_o but_o if_o we_o look_v well_o into_o ourselves_o we_o even_o the_o best_a work_n they_o do_v be_v imperfect_a second_o this_o show_v the_o true_a meaning_n of_o saint_n james_n when_o he_o say_v that_o rahab_n be_v justify_v by_o her_o work_n hereby_o he_o mean_v that_o by_o her_o work_n she_o declare_v herself_o to_o be_v just_a for_o that_o she_o be_v not_o justify_v by_o her_o work_n appear_v plain_a because_o the_o work_n which_o she_o do_v this_o conceal_n of_o the_o spy_n and_o lie_v to_o the_o king_n messenger_n be_v a_o work_n of_o treachery_n against_o her_o own_o country_n and_o therefore_o be_v a_o notorious_a fault_n and_o so_o no_o work_n of_o faith_n answ._n treachery_n indeed_o be_v as_o great_a villainy_n as_o one_o man_n can_v practise_v against_o another_o and_o therefore_o aught_o to_o be_v abhor_v and_o detest_a of_o
