of_o iniquity_n who_o have_v courage_n and_o constancy_n and_o bravery_n equal_a to_o so_o glorious_a a_o underatk_n as_o that_o zeal_n be_v madness_n which_o push_v a_o man_n on_o to_o illegal_a and_o indefensible_a action_n whatever_o be_v the_o motive_n of_o his_o engage_v in_o they_o so_o that_o wisdom_n be_v folly_n which_o hinder_v a_o man_n from_o do_v his_o duty_n and_o vindicate_a god_n honour_n but_o still_o we_o must_v take_v care_n that_o our_o zeal_n be_v temper_v with_o prudence_n and_o if_o ever_o we_o be_v to_o be_v wise_a as_o serpent_n we_o be_v certain_o to_o be_v so_o in_o these_o matter_n wherein_o we_o be_v sure_a to_o have_v the_o old_a serpent_n himself_o our_o swear_a and_o inveterate_a enemy_n he_o may_v bruise_v the_o heel_n of_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n of_o the_o member_n as_o well_o as_o of_o christ_n their_o head_n by_o backbiting_a and_o reproach_n and_o by_o all_o the_o calumny_n that_o hell_n can_v invent_v or_o its_o emissary_n utter_v what_o need_v then_o have_v all_o those_o good_a man_n who_o engage_v in_o this_o honourable_a and_o weighty_a affair_n of_o stem_v the_o tide_n of_o vice_n among_o we_o what_o need_n have_v they_o to_o be_v always_o upon_o their_o guard_n and_o to_o take_v care_n of_o their_o step_n since_o there_o be_v so_o many_o who_o watch_n for_o their_o halt_a to_o act_v by_o the_o most_o prudent_a and_o advisable_a method_n to_o be_v zealous_a without_o be_v passionate_a which_o perhaps_o be_v one_o of_o the_o most_o difficult_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n to_o give_v no_o just_a offence_n to_o any_o to_o prepare_v themselves_o against_o the_o doubtful_a combat_n to_o expect_v to_o be_v hate_v and_o slander_v by_o bad_a man_n as_o be_v their_o master_n before_o they_o and_o for_o the_o same_o reason_n too_o because_o they_o testify_v against_o they_o that_o their_o deed_n be_v evil_a to_o be_v sober_a and_o vigilant_a to_o avoid_v what_o be_v scandalous_a as_o well_o as_o what_o be_v sinful_a and_o so_o on_o the_o contrary_n by_o no_o mean_n to_o forget_v themselves_o their_o own_o person_n or_o their_o own_o family_n while_o they_o be_v so_o busy_a in_o reform_v other_o and_o to_o suffer_v no_o beam_n or_o so_o much_o as_o a_o mote_n in_o their_o own_o eye_n while_o they_o be_v endeavour_v to_o clear_v their_o brother_n eye_n which_o can_v not_o fail_v of_o have_v a_o happy_a influence_n on_o their_o own_o mind_n as_o their_o instructive_a example_n will_v on_o those_o of_o other_o and_o be_v one_o of_o those_o natural_a and_o inseparable_a reward_n which_o even_o in_o this_o life_n attend_v virtue_n and_o goodness_n and_o which_o in_o some_o sort_n may_v seem_v to_o antedate_v a_o happy_a eternity_n i_o proceed_v to_o draw_v some_o practical_a inference_n from_o what_o have_v be_v say_v use_v 1_o and_o the_o first_o may_v be_v to_o reprove_v those_o who_o be_v so_o far_o from_o oppose_a vice_n and_o wickedness_n that_o they_o rather_o encourage_v it_o and_o support_v as_o it_o well_o as_o discourage_v other_o who_o be_v engage_v against_o it_o so_o far_o from_o rise_v up_o against_o evil-doer_n that_o they_o rise_v up_o together_o with_o they_o great_a danger_n of_o sit_v in_o the_o seat_n of_o the_o scorner_n though_o they_o can_v be_v ignorant_a who_o have_v say_v that_o he_o who_o walk_v with_o wise_a man_n shall_v be_v wise_a but_o a_o companion_n of_o fool_n shall_v be_v destroy_v not_o that_o all_o correspondence_n with_o ill_a man_n be_v forbid_v as_o to_o the_o necessary_a office_n of_o civil_a or_o private_a life_n for_o then_o rise_n in_o they_o on_o such_o provocation_n however_o thus_o much_o be_v sure_a that_o modesty_n and_o meekness_n do_v never_o yet_o hurt_v a_o good_a cause_n and_o be_v so_o far_o from_o that_o meanness_n and_o demission_n of_o mind_n which_o betray_v whatever_o they_o undertake_v that_o after_o all_o they_o be_v argument_n of_o the_o clear_a courage_n and_o magnanimity_n to_o close_v this_o offender_n though_o by_o the_o most_o legal_a prudent_a and_o advisable_a method_n but_o there_o be_v still_o one_o comfort_n to_o those_o who_o do_v so_o and_o that_o be_v that_o god_n see_v not_o as_o man_n see_v that_o he_o be_v the_o god_n of_o judgement_n and_o by_o he_o action_n be_v weigh_v not_o in_o the_o unequal_a scale_n of_o prejudice_n and_o partiality_n but_o by_o the_o unerring_a standard_n of_o his_o own_o immutable_a justice._n and_o shall_v then_o a_o wretched_a mortal_n a_o worm_n of_o the_o same_o dust_n and_o clay_n with_o ourselves_o and_o which_o must_v soon_o be_v
