preacher_n and_o read_v of_o their_o book_n have_v their_o mind_n and_o understanding_n so_o vitiate_v and_o deprave_a that_o whensoever_o they_o hear_v we_o teach_v the_o necessity_n of_o repentance_n unto_o salvation_n or_o hear_v we_o press_v the_o practice_n and_o performance_n of_o good_a work_n upon_o man_n conscience_n present_o they_o think_v that_o we_o be_v enemy_n unto_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n and_o do_v preach_v nothing_o but_o the_o law_n for_o so_o indeed_o some_o few_o year_n since_o when_o one_o hear_v i_o tell_v my_o hearer_n that_o as_o long_o as_o any_o one_o of_o they_o do_v live_v in_o sin_n and_o not_o practice_v repentance_n it_o be_v in_o vain_a for_o he_o to_o believe_v that_o his_o sin_n be_v forgive_v and_o that_o he_o shall_v at_o the_o come_n of_o christ_n to_o judgement_n rise_v again_o in_o his_o own_o body_n to_o live_v eternal_o with_o christ_n after_o he_o be_v return_v home_o from_o the_o church_n he_o speak_v aloud_o in_o the_o hear_n of_o divers_a and_o say_v here_o be_v nothing_o but_o preach_v of_o the_o law_n preach_v of_o repentance_n repent_v and_o you_o shall_v be_v save_v repent_v and_o heaven_n gate_n shall_v be_v set_v open_a for_o you_o to_o the_o intent_n therefore_o that_o such_o poor_a seduce_a soul_n may_v be_v bring_v to_o see_v their_o error_n i_o will_v handle_v this_o matter_n a_o little_a more_o full_o first_o of_o all_o then_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o the_o law_n require_v perfect_a obedience_n of_o we_o unto_o all_o the_o commandment_n thereof_o and_o will_v not_o accept_v of_o any_o repentance_n if_o we_o fall_v but_o into_o any_o one_o sin_n or_o fail_v in_o any_o one_o duty_n but_o conclude_v and_o shut_v we_o up_o under_o the_o curse_n of_o god_n the_o doctrine_n of_o repentance_n therefore_o as_o these_o man_n think_v be_v not_o legal_a 27.26_o deut._n 27.26_o but_o mere_o evangelical_n and_o therefore_o when_o christ_n teach_v the_o people_n repentance_n it_o be_v say_v that_o he_o preach_v not_o the_o law_n but_o the_o gospel_n now_o it_o be_v manifest_a and_o evident_a also_o 1.15_o mar._n 1.15_o that_o all_o manner_n of_o good_a work_n which_o be_v sin_n as_o we_o be_v all_o by_o nature_n 3._o eph._n 2_o 3._o and_o of_o ourselves_o it_o be_v as_o impossible_a for_o we_o to_o believe_v and_o obey_v the_o gospel_n as_o it_o be_v for_o we_o to_o fulfil_v the_o law_n until_o we_o be_v quicken_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n three_o it_o be_v of_o grace_n that_o we_o be_v keep_v and_o uphold_v by_o the_o power_n of_o god_n from_o fall_v away_o from_o he_o or_o that_o he_o keep_v we_o firm_a and_o fast_o in_o his_o covenant_n for_o otherwise_o if_o he_o shall_v leave_v we_o to_o ourselves_o but_o a_o day_n or_o a_o hour_n we_o shall_v break_v and_o altogether_o dissolve_v the_o covenant_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o we_o do_v the_o legal_a covenant_n last_o it_o be_v of_o grace_n and_o not_o for_o any_o merit_n or_o desert_n of_o we_o
