latter_a and_o to_o lay_v this_o foundation_n again_o be_v to_o initiate_v these_o principle_n anew_o from_o the_o beginning_n and_o for_o a_o man_n to_o become_v the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n a_o second_o time_n after_o once_o he_o have_v desert_v the_o verity_n of_o they_o whereof_o suppose_v the_o latter_a sense_n he_o will_v have_v the_o hebrew_n to_o beware_v for_o they_o be_v near_o distinguish_v from_o that_o sorrow_n as_o the_o effect_n from_o the_o cause_n see_v 2_o cor._n 7.9,10_o and_o of_o faith_n towards_o god_n what_o that_o be_v the_o author_n show_v afterward_o chap._n to_o the_o perfect_a law_n and_o discipline_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o they_o who_o never_o have_v any_o open_a promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n shall_v enjoy_v that_o life_n before_o they_o who_o have_v a_o open_a and_o clear_a covenant_n for_o it_o but_o rather_o see_v by_o god_n goodness_n they_o be_v to_o

and_o not_o enjoy_v those_o heavenly_a banquet_n so_o long_a a_o time_n before_o these_o and_o therefore_o the_o word_n some_o better_a thing_n may_v be_v take_v two_o way_n either_o as_o our_o state_n compare_v with_o their_o state_n may_v be_v say_v to_o be_v better_a or_o as_o our_o present_a state_n compare_v with_o our_o future_a state_n may_v be_v say_v better_a if_o they_o have_v receive_v god_n promise_v long_o before_o we_o but_o because_o that_o in_o itself_o do_v neither_o increase_v our_o future_a happiness_n nor_o in_o like_a manner_n do_v decrease_v their_o future_a consequent_o not_o the_o flesh_n and_o blood_n of_o christ_n for_o if_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n be_v proper_o eat_v and_o therein_o consist_v a_o part_n of_o religion_n will_v not_o the_o author_n have_v oppose_v the_o meat_n of_o christ_n flesh_n and_o blood_n to_o the_o meat_n of_o those_o sacrifice_n will_v he_o have_v say_v we_o have_v a_o altar_n whereof_o it_o be_v not_o lawful_a for_o they_o to_o eat_v no_o not_o for_o the_o priest_n if_o it_o be_v lawful_a for_o the_o priest_n to_o eat_v the_o body_n and_o drink_v the_o blood_n of_o christ_n offer_v every_o day_n upon_o the_o sacrifice_n as_o be_v ancient_o do_v under_o the_o law_n he_o therefore_o say_v we_o have_v a_o altar_n any_o man_n may_v easy_o perceive_v that_o these_o word_n be_v figurative_a and_o improper_a take_v from_o the_o ordinance_n in_o the_o discipline_n of_o moses_n which_o for_o the_o most_o part_n can_v be_v apply_v to_o the_o discipline_n of_o christ_n but_o by_o way_n of_o abusion_n and_o impropriety_n whereof_o we_o have_v no_o few_o example_n former_o especial_o in_o the_o comparison_n of_o christ_n with_o the_o leviticall_a priest_n for_o for_o comparison_n sake_n we_o many_o time_n use_v such_o word_n of_o a_o thing_n which_o without_o respect_n to_o the_o comparison_n we_o will_v never_o use_v the_o same_o impropriety_n fall_v out_o again_o here_o in_o the_o christian_a religion_n to_o speak_v proper_o there_o be_v no_o altar_n no_o tabernacle_n to_o serve_v no_o sacrifice_n which_o can_v be_v eat_v neither_o if_o we_o respect_v the_o eat_n of_o sacrifice_n or_o the_o abstinence_n from_o they_o be_v there_o any_o such_o difference_n between_o christian_n as_o if_o some_o be_v priest_n and_o minister_n of_o the_o tabernacle_n and_o other_o be_v not_o therefore_o in_o such_o say_n we_o must_v not_o weigh_v every_o word_n single_o by_o itself_o as_o what_o be_v signify_v by_o the_o altar_n what_o by_o the_o tabernacle_n and_o whereto_o it_o answer_v but_o we_o must_v inquire_v for_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o whole_a sentence_n wherefore_o these_o word_n import_v nothing_o else_o but_o that_o christian_n have_v no_o other_o sacrifice_n but_o such_o
