have_v his_o people_n to_o be_v full_a of_o joy_n that_o they_o may_v be_v full_a of_o fruit_n and_o that_o they_o may_v abound_v in_o his_o service_n be_v it_o so_o that_o jesus_n christ_n will_v have_v his_o people_n full_a of_o holy_a joy_n use_v 1_o then_o first_o it_o serve_v to_o censure_v those_o who_o seek_v to_o hinder_v the_o joy_n of_o christ_n people_n and_o to_o embitter_v all_o the_o righteous_a soul_n of_o lot_n from_o day_n to_o day_n with_o their_o filthy_a conversation_n but_o yet_o this_o difference_n we_o may_v observe_v they_o do_v not_o their_o prodigious_a brethren_n it_o be_v not_o so_o with_o god_n he_o be_v all_o beautiful_a and_o all_o allure_a altogether_o lovely_a other_o be_v so_o in_o some_o respect_n but_o he_o be_v so_o in_o all_o respect_n he_o be_v altogether_o lovely_a the_o allurement_n of_o all_o heart_n and_o the_o desire_n of_o all_o nation_n hag._n 2.7_o so_o he_o be_v always_o in_o the_o merit_n although_o he_o be_v not_o always_o so_o in_o the_o event_n object_n but_o if_o god_n be_v so_o beautiful_a what_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o man_n do_v not_o love_v he_o answ_n because_o his_o name_n in_o this_o respect_n be_v arm_n without_o the_o use_n of_o second_o cause_n and_o then_o his_o arm_n be_v make_v bare_a he_o bring_v in_o succour_n to_o his_o people_n as_o he_o make_v the_o world_n of_o nothing_o and_o therefore_o he_o be_v say_v in_o scripture_n to_o create_v it_o as_o you_o may_v see_v that_o place_n for_o instance_n isa_n 65.18_o be_v you_o glad_a and_o rejoice_v for_o ever_o in_o that_o which_o that_o be_v continual_o rage_v war_a who_o be_v able_a of_o himself_o to_o overpower_v and_o master_v these_o what_o think_v you_o of_o the_o power_n of_o satan_n and_o his_o black_a confederate_n what_o to_o do_v for_o then_o perhaps_o the_o lord_n will_v shut_v the_o door_n against_o you_o and_o leave_v you_o helpless_a in_o your_o trouble_n and_o true_o it_o be_v just_a with_o god_n that_o they_o that_o seek_v not_o to_o he_o till_o they_o be_v drive_v out_o of_o all_o their_o shift_n shall_v be_v neglect_v by_o he_o when_o they_o come_v 2._o humble_o or_o else_o the_o name_n of_o god_n the_o likeness_n stand_v and_o not_o the_o measure_n and_o degree_n i_o may_v give_v many_o instance_n wherein_o that_o particle_n be_v so_o take_v you_o may_v see_v that_o place_n for_o instance_n that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o as_o near_o that_o be_v impossible_a but_o that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o as_o true_o as_o we_o be_v not_o that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o by_o a_o substantial_a and_o identical_a but_o by_o a_o real_a union_n as_o we_o be_v not_o that_o they_o many_o be_v one_o in_o all_o respect_n but_o that_o they_o may_v be_v one_o in_o some_o respect_n as_o we_o be_v but_o may_v agree_v in_o all_o thing_n that_o there_o may_v be_v no_o difference_n no_o division_n no_o jar_n no_o strife_n no_o rent_n among_o they_o but_o that_o they_o may_v in_o this_o respect_n be_v one_o even_o as_o the_o father_n and_o son_n be_v and_o this_o you_o see_v be_v the_o great_a thing_n for_o which_o our_o saviour_n be_v a_o suitor_n to_o his_o father_n in_o behalf_n of_o his_o thes_n 4.5_o this_o be_v the_o character_n of_o unbelieve_a christian_n they_o know_v not_o god_n and_o obey_v not_o the_o gospel_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n 1_o thes_n 1.8_o so_o that_o all_o unbelieving_a and_o unsanctified_a person_n whether_o they_o be_v heathen_n or_o profess_a christian_n be_v ignorant_a of_o god_n yea_o though_o they_o discourse_v of_o he_o and_o that_o excellent_o too_o and_o pretend_v acquaintance_n with_o he_o as_o those_o who_o the_o apostle_n mention_n tit._n 1.16_o they_o profess_v they_o know_v god_n but_o in_o work_n they_o deny_v he_o yea_o though_o they_o cry_v to_o god_n as_o israel_n do_v my_o god_n we_o know_v thou_o while_o they_o cast_v off_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a hosea_n 8.2_o 3._o yet_o they_o know_v not_o god_n indeed_o their_o knowledge_n of_o he_o be_v not_o right_a and_o sound_a and_o consequent_o be_v not_o worthy_a of_o the_o name_n of_o knowledge_n as_o i_o shall_v evident_o clear_v it_o to_o you_o the_o heart_n and_o the_o affection_n with_o it_o deserve_v not_o the_o name_n of_o knowledge_n and_o therefore_o man_n be_v frequent_o affirm_v in_o scripture_n not_o to_o know_v that_o which_o they_o do_v not_o like_a and_o love_v the_o ox_n know_v his_o owner_n etc._n etc._n but_o israel_n know_v not_o i_o say_v god_n isa_n 1.3_o why_o certain_o they_o know_v he_o if_o any_o people_n under_o heaven_n know_v he_o with_o a_o discursive_a and_o a_o speculative_a knowledge_n i_o but_o they_o know_v he_o not_o with_o a_o affective_a knowledge_n their_o knowledge_n of_o he_o draw_v not_o out_o their_o heart_n to_o he_o and_o therefore_o in_o the_o lord_n interpretation_n and_o construction_n it_o be_v no_o knowledge_n for_o he_o say_v of_o they_o express_o israel_n have_v not_o know_v i_o in_o that_o they_o know_v he_o not_o with_o a_o effective_a knowledge_n so_o as_o to_o serve_v he_o and_o obey_v he_o with_o such_o a_o knowledge_n as_o bring_v forth_o practice_n and_o his_o commandment_n psal_n 119.10_o they_o only_o understand_v and_o know_v the_o lord_n effectual_o and_o save_o that_o obey_v the_o will_n of_o god_n hereby_o we_o know_v we_o know_v he_o as_o we_o ought_v to_o do_v if_o we_o keep_v his_o commandment_n other_o may_v have_v understanding_n only_o these_o have_v good_a understanding_n for_o this_o god_n set_v the_o finger_n of_o a_o hand_n
