advancement_n and_o progress_n in_o the_o same_o where_o notwithstanding_o be_v to_o be_v note_v that_o our_o meaning_n be_v not_o by_o the_o particular_a practice_n of_o this_o chapter_n to_o willing_o remain_v therein_o for_o the_o sweetness_n they_o find_v in_o such_o contemplation_n for_o remedy_v whereof_o they_o must_v understand_v remedy_n that_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o have_v the_o active_a life_n by_o only_a speculation_n but_o must_v also_o have_v it_o by_o practice_n and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o know_v what_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o how_o they_o ought_v to_o practice_v virtue_n or_o extirpate_v vice_n which_o knowledge_n by_o this_o rule_n be_v easy_o have_v but_o they_o must_v also_o put_v the_o same_o in_o practice_n by_o root_a but_o vice_n and_o plant_v virtue_n until_o such_o time_n as_o they_o have_v acquire_v some_o good_a habit_n thereof_o for_o though_o this_o rule_n and_o way_n above_o all_o other_o give_v a_o marvellous_a
