let_v we_o consider_v what_o be_v truth_n and_o the_o end_n of_o a_o assertory_n oath_n truth_n be_v proper_a to_o intellectual_a and_o reasonable_a creature_n and_o be_v either_o the_o apprehension_n of_o intelligible_a being_n as_o god_n a_o law_n the_o soul_n time_n etc._n etc._n which_o can_v never_o be_v the_o object_n of_o sense_n and_o of_o the_o cause_n and_o consequence_n of_o intention_n assent_v to_o they_o swear_v to_o the_o truth_n of_o they_o will_v be_v to_o no_o purpose_n so_o it_o be_v of_o the_o consequence_n of_o speech_n and_o action_n if_o another_o be_v not_o convince_v from_o the_o reason_n of_o such_o consequence_n or_o inference_n swear_v it_o to_o be_v so_o will_v never_o do_v it_o but_o though_o sensible_a thing_n speech_n and_o action_n
make_v no_o alteration_n in_o either_o it_o will_v not_o be_v long_o before_o you_o shall_v see_v alteration_n make_v in_o both_o without_o you_o and_o i_o promise_v and_o swear_v to_o maintain_v than_o a_o thousand_o other_o will_v have_v and_o therefore_o wish_v if_o any_o exception_n be_v it_o may_v be_v particular_a to_o his_o highness_n which_o the_o duke_n oppose_v the_o earl_n
