the_o end_n he_o have_v no_o part_n nor_o portion_n in_o the_o church_n this_o thing_n show_v very_o well_o unto_o we_o that_o god_n will_v hold_v we_o always_o convict_v that_o there_o be_v no_o question_n of_o bring_v any_o thing_n before_o god_n on_o our_o part_n to_o thrust_v in_o ourselves_o there_o as_o if_o we_o have_v any_o valour_n and_o worthiness_n in_o we_o for_o god_n be_v not_o govern_v their_o house_n in_o peace_n and_o quietness_n and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o looseness_n amongst_o we_o but_o that_o we_o know_v that_o we_o have_v better_o profit_v in_o the_o school_n of_o god_o than_o our_o father_n isaac_n have_v do_v in_o this_o point_n forasmuch_o as_o he_o decline_v therein_o but_o now_o let_v we_o prostrate_v ourselves_o before_o the_o high_a majesty_n of_o our_o give_v over_o to_o hope_n that_o he_o will_v be_v our_o good_a father_n to_o nourish_v we_o and_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o we_o do_v pray_v for_o our_o daily_a bread_n now_o this_o oppose_v itself_o against_o all_o those_o provision_n wherein_o the_o child_n of_o the_o world_n do_v put_v their_o trust_n for_o they_o be_v never_o stay_v unless_o their_o barn_n &_o cellar_n be_v full_a as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o another_o psalm_n and_o beside_o when_o they_o be_v well_o fraught_v they_o despite_n god_n as_o though_o they_o be_v without_o all_o danger_n as_o they_o think_v but_o overcome_v this_o tentation_n there_o &_o conclude_v though_o it_o be_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o famine_n that_o god_n will_v be_v our_o father_n and_o we_o must_v content_v ourselves_o with_o this_o rejoice_v in_o our_o affliction_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o we_o be_v also_o exhort_v by_o the_o example_n of_o isaac_n not_o to_o be_v so_o grieve_v and_o vex_v with_o famine_n nor_o for_o withdraw_v ourselves_o from_o the_o conduction_n of_o god_n see_v that_o we_o can_v be_v nourish_v but_o by_o his_o blessing_n for_o when_o we_o shall_v have_v all_o the_o bread_n &_o meat_n in_o the_o world_n it_o be_v certain_a that_o the_o wind_n shall_v aswell_o profit_v we_o for_o our_o nourishment_n as_o these_o and_o we_o shall_v think_v that_o we_o grow_v &_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o shall_v not_o be_v substantial_o feed_v for_o it_o be_v not_o bread_n as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o moses_n that_o nourish_v we_o but_o every_o word_n that_o proceed_v out_o of_o the_o mouth_n of_o god._n now_o by_o this_o word_n he_o do_v not_o understand_v the_o doctrine_n of_o salvation_n but_o that_o same_o virtue_n which_o god_n have_v spread_v over_o all_o his_o creature_n mark_v be_v barren_a in_o comparison_n of_o judaea_n and_o syria_n and_o of_o those_o country_n there_o abouts_o especial_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o a_o hundred_o fold_n for_o asmuch_o as_o the_o thing_n may_v seem_v incredible_a unto_o we_o because_o we_o esteem_v that_o which_o be_v speak_v unto_o we_o according_a to_o that_o we_o have_v see_v but_o it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n declare_v this_o unto_o we_o by_o a_o similitude_n take_v from_o the_o seed_n which_o be_v sow_v although_o he_o speak_v to_o another_o purpose_n but_o notwithstanding_o he_o say_v that_o when_o man_n shall_v sow_v one_o part_n fall_v into_o the_o path_n and_o the_o fowl_n of_o the_o air_n devour_v it_o another_o shall_v fall_v among_o stone_n and_o this_o shall_v take_v bend_v all_o their_o affection_n thitherward_o yet_o notwithstanding_o be_v mortal_a man_n they_o need_v that_o god_n shall_v give_v they_o some_o taste_n of_o his_o goodness_n in_o this_o world_n paradise_n here_o and_o we_o will_v cast_v our_o eye_n no_o further_o but_o all_o our_o sense_n will_v be_v clean_o glut_v if_o god_o shall_v give_v we_o in_o all_o respect_n such_o abundance_n as_o we_o require_v &_o therefore_o he_o give_v we_o only_o a_o little_a taste_n of_o his_o goodness_n to_o the_o end_n to_o draw_v we_o on_o further_a but_o what_o though_o yet_o can_v we_o but_o in_o part_n acknowledge_v that_o god_n be_v our_o father_n not_o only_o by_o the_o testimony_n that_o we_o have_v thereof_o from_o his_o mouth_n but_o also_o by_o those_o blessing_n which_o he_o liberal_o bestow_v upon_o we_o and_o here_o we_o behold_v both_o these_o thing_n in_o this_o history_n which_o moses_n set_v down_o that_o be_v to_o say_v that_o god_n bless_v his_o own_o in_o such_o sort_n that_o they_o have_v occasion_n to_o rejoice_v in_o he_o &_o yet_o in_o that_o he_o divide_v their_o morsel_n in_o such_o a_o portion_n that_o they_o be_v always_o in_o mourn_n whilst_o they_o be_v in_o this_o world_n and_o thereby_o be_v occasion_v to_o cast_v their_o eye_n far_o for_o mark_v our_o father_n isaac_n he_o prosper_v he_o increase_v and_o become_v mighty_a so_o say_v moses_n &_o he_o say_v not_o only_o that_o god_n bless_v he_o at_o once_o but_o that_o he_o multiply_v he_o in_o such_o sort_n that_o he_o always_o grow_v &_o wax_v rich_a and_o rich_a but_o on_o the_o other_o this_o life_n that_o they_o can_v never_o settle_v themselves_o and_o rest_n therein_o but_o yet_o here_o further_o a_o question_n may_v be_v ask_v why_o god_n cause_v isaac_n so_o to_o prosper_v that_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o the_o country_n shall_v rise_v up_o against_o he_o have_v it_o not_o be_v much_o better_a for_o he_o that_o he_o have_v continue_v in_o a_o mean_a estate_n &_o have_v live_v quiet_a under_o his_o tent_n then_o to_o be_v so_o enrich_v that_o every_o one_o shall_v war_v against_o he_o &_o that_o they_o can_v not_o abide_v he_o fear_v lest_o he_o will_v become_v lord_n over_o they_o and_o tread_v they_o under_o his_o foot_n if_o god_o have_v keep_v such_o a_o mean_a it_o seem_v that_o it_o have_v be_v more_o profitable_a to_o isaac_n wherefore_o then_o be_v it_o that_o he_o do_v multiply_v he_o and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o cause_n that_o he_o be_v pursue_v yea_o and_o that_o he_o have_v no_o water_n for_o himself_o neither_o for_o his_o family_n or_o for_o his_o cattle_n but_o god_n be_v so_o wise_a in_o dispose_v all_o thing_n that_o if_o he_o make_v his_o servant_n to_o prosper_v he_o show_v they_o that_o they_o ought_v to_o keep_v themselves_o fast_o unto_o he_o and_o that_o they_o have_v occasion_n to_o bless_v he_o and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o when_o he_o lay_v they_o open_a to_o trouble_n and_o vexation_n he_o turn_v this_o also_o to_o their_o good_a so_o then_o we_o must_v mark_v this_o for_o a_o rule_n that_o all_o the_o grace_n which_o we_o receive_v from_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n in_o this_o world_n they_o be_v join_v with_o some_o misery_n &_o that_o our_o honey_n be_v never_o pure_a but_o always_o there_o be_v some_o vinegar_n mix_v with_o it_o god_n can_v well_o take_v another_o course_n if_o it_o have_v please_v he_o but_o we_o must_v be_v subject_a unto_o he_o and_o be_v content_a with_o that_o that_o he_o do_v although_o that_o our_o sense_n and_o the_o lust_n of_o our_o flesh_n resist_v against_o it_o and_o true_a it_o be_v that_o a_o man_n which_o be_v well_o advise_v will_v never_o seek_v to_o be_v rich_a nor_o wealthy_a and_o so_o that_o he_o may_v have_v competent_a for_o meat_n and_o drink_n &_o clothing_n he_o will_v seek_v for_o no_o other_o state_n or_o condition_n yet_o notwithstanding_o it_o please_v god_n to_o exercise_v one_o sort_n with_o poverty_n and_o to_o be_v bountiful_a towards_o other_o and_o both_o poor_a and_o rich_a may_v be_v faithful_a and_o both_o two_o the_o child_n of_o god_n i_o speak_v not_o of_o all_o in_o general_a but_o we_o see_v that_o there_o be_v some_o fear_v god_n who_o be_v not_o all_o of_o like_a estate_n &_o condition_n some_o of_o they_o have_v wealth_n enough_o for_o their_o maintenance_n yea_o &_o that_o to_o make_v they_o live_v with_o some_o credit_n and_o countenance_n amongst_o man_n other_o some_o have_v scarce_o a_o morsel_n of_o bread_n to_o eat_v now_o if_o it_o be_v in_o we_o to_o order_v this_o matter_n we_o will_v that_o god_n shall_v use_v rather_o a_o equal_a and_o like_a measure_n yea_o but_o he_o know_v wherefore_o he_o choose_v rather_o such_o a_o diversity_n and_o therefore_o as_o i_o
have_v say_v it_o be_v for_o we_o to_o content_v ourselves_o with_o his_o pleasure_n and_o so_o when_o it_o please_v he_o to_o make_v his_o servant_n to_o prosper_v in_o such_o sort_n that_o we_o may_v know_v for_o a_o surety_n that_o his_o blessing_n rest_v in_o their_o person_n it_o be_v a_o testimony_n of_o his_o goodness_n and_o hereof_o they_o ought_v to_o make_v their_o profit_n but_o when_o there_o be_v any_o sourness_n mingle_v with_o it_o they_o ought_v to_o think_v god_o will_v not_o that_o i_o shall_v sleep_v here_o nor_o rest_v myself_o so_o upon_o these_o earthly_a benefit_n but_o that_o always_o he_o shall_v have_v some_o little_a portion_n too_o the_o end_n he_o may_v feel_v that_o god_n have_v care_n of_o he_o and_o therefore_o when_o the_o faithful_a have_v not_o all_o that_o they_o desire_v but_o god_n leave_v they_o there_o as_o if_o he_o forsake_v they_o they_o must_v not_o therefore_o murmur_v against_o he_o nor_o think_v that_o he_o have_v cast_v they_o common_a proverb_n be_v he_o that_o have_v land_n have_v war_n at_o hand_n if_o a_o man_n have_v but_o a_o acre_n of_o ground_n he_o shall_v either_o be_v draw_v into_o suit_n of_o law_n or_o else_o he_o shall_v have_v some_o other_o trouble_n about_o it_o as_o for_o the_o rich_a i_o say_v when_o they_o see_v these_o thing_n that_o they_o can_v possess_v their_o good_n with_o peace_n and_o for_o our_o part_n when_o we_o shall_v be_v reprove_v for_o any_o offence_n let_v we_o not_o wait_v for_o any_o long_a process_n and_o such_o great_a enquest_n too_o be_v convince_v as_o it_o be_v
