method_n and_o upon_o such_o term_n and_o condition_n as_o be_v prescribe_v and_o declare_v in_o the_o gospel_n these_o man_n send_v we_o immediate_o to_o the_o person_n of_o christ_n for_o life_n and_o righteousness_n for_o beauty_n and_o comeliness_n for_o grace_n and_o wisdom_n and_o for_o the_o supply_n of_o all_o our_o spiritual_a want_n which_o shut_v out_o his_o gospel_n and_o religion_n these_o be_v infuse_v into_o we_o and_o without_o any_o respect_n to_o they_o and_o some_o man_n will_v willing_o affix_v this_o notion_n as_o absurd_a as_o it_o be_v to_o our_o church_n because_o the_o christian_a church_n to_o which_o alone_o the_o promise_n of_o salvation_n be_v make_v and_o whereas_o a_o late_a author_n think_v to_o evade_v the_o force_n of_o this_o argument_n by_o observe_v that_o our_o saviour_n 9_o add_v but_o he_o that_o believe_v not_o shall_v be_v damn_v mark_v 16._o 16_o so_o that_o man_n shall_v be_v damn_v mere_o upon_o account_n of_o their_o unbelief_n such_o infidel_n as_o refuse_v baptism_n and_o such_o unbeliever_n as_o be_v baptize_v so_o that_o he_o that_o believe_v not_o shall_v be_v damn_v signify_v that_o though_o faith_n and_o baptism_n be_v necessary_a to_o salvation_n yet_o unbelief_n alone_o whether_o man_n be_v baptize_v or_o not_o shall_v damn_v they_o for_o i_o will_v ask_v this_o author_n whether_o suppose_v that_o our_o saviour_n have_v design_v in_o those_o word_n he_o that_o believe_v and_o be_v baptize_v shall_v be_v save_v to_o signify_v that_o faith_n and_o baptism_n be_v both_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n it_o have_v be_v proper_a for_o he_o to_o have_v add_v but_o he_o that_o believe_v not_o and_o be_v not_o baptize_v shall_v be_v damn_v which_o will_v have_v damn_v only_o unbaptise_v infidel_n and_o have_v give_v too_o great_a reason_n to_o baptize_v hypocrite_n and_o unbeliever_n to_o hope_v for_o salvation_n but_o to_o return_v to_o mr._n ferguson_n his_o second_o argument_n be_v this_o that_o bind_v and_o christ_n loose_v if_o they_o may_v just_o separate_v man_n from_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n and_o yet_o christ_n keep_v they_o unite_v to_o himself_o which_o i_o fear_v must_v be_v unjust_o do_v if_o the_o other_o be_v just_o unless_o he_o will_v say_v that_o the_o church_n may_v just_o separate_v man_n from_o christ_n &_o christ_n just_o keep_v they_o unite_v to_o himself_o
