and_o over_o and_o all_o to_o cover_v the_o defect_n of_o their_o invention_n but_o this_o however_o look_v like_o the_o expression_n of_o a_o great_a devotion_n and_o be_v so_o understand_v by_o of_o eternal_a life_n for_o though_o sensual_a pleasure_n be_v of_o another_o nature_n and_o have_v other_o object_n than_o spiritual_a and_o be_v therefore_o call_v the_o pleasure_n of_o other_o thing_n and_o upon_o that_o account_n must_v needs_o discompose_v the_o mind_n and_o make_v it_o unfit_a to_o conceive_v or_o enjoy_v the_o delight_n and_o pleasure_n of_o communion_n with_o god_n and_o his_o saint_n in_o these_o holy_a exercise_n yet_o because_o we_o be_v many_o time_n uncapable_a of_o such_o sensual_a pleasure_n and_o satiety_n oft_o turn_v to_o loathe_v especial_o for_o a_o time_n this_o help_n man_n to_o see_v the_o vanity_n thereof_o so_o that_o they_o may_v be_v dispose_v by_o good_a counsel_n at_o such_o
a_o time_n to_o turn_v themselves_o to_o seek_v the_o pleasure_n that_o be_v always_o savory_n and_o last_a of_o which_o we_o can_v never_o surfeit_v but_o now_o these_o lust_n of_o the_o world_n that_o be_v covetousness_n of_o worldly_a riches_n as_o they_o be_v more_o insatiable_a than_o those_o of_o the_o flesh_n so_o they_o have_v scarce_o any_o recess_n they_o follow_v we_o into_o our_o closet_n and_o to_o church_n accompany_v we_o when_o sickness_n shut_v we_o into_o our_o chamber_n and_o even_o on_o our_o very_a death_n bed_n and_o nothing_o but_o the_o utter_a destruction_n of_o our_o faculty_n can_v eradicate_v this_o love_n of_o money_n these_o lust_n give_v we_o no_o time_n or_o composure_n for_o the_o hearty_a and_o zealous_a service_n of_o god_n but_o though_o our_o body_n be_v present_a our_o mind_n be_v agitate_a with_o thought_n about_o the_o world_n can_v intend_v what_o be_v do_v to_o the_o honour_n of_o god_n and_o their_o soul_n health_n as_o they_o may_v be_v in_o this_o case_n but_o i_o have_v not_o be_v able_a by_o my_o own_o wit_n to_o excuse_v they_o to_o those_o that_o have_v blame_v they_o for_o it_o but_o the_o worst_a complaint_n of_o all_o have_v be_v that_o of_o many_o minister_n who_o at_o the_o time_n of_o some_o eminent_a lecture_n will_v sit_v in_o a_o coffeehouse_n till_o prayer_n be_v almost_o do_v and_o rather_o let_v their_o company_n be_v want_v to_o the_o solemnity_n of_o god_n holy_a worship_n than_o leave_v a_o pipe_n of_o tobacco_n before_o it_o be_v smoke_v out_o or_o not_o take_v their_o usual_a dose_n of_o tea_n or_o coffee_n i_o confess_v i_o have_v be_v much_o trouble_v to_o hear_v of_o it_o and_o be_o more_o so_o to_o mention_v it_o especial_o thus_o public_o if_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o notorious_a and_o in_o no_o way_n that_o i_o know_v of_o i_o can_v assist_v the_o reformation_n of_o iâ—_n so_o well_o as_o in_o this_o which_o i_o hope_v will_v plead_v my_o excuse_n with_o all_o good_a men._n whole_o in_o this_o matter_n and_o therefore_o i_o humble_o beg_v that_o it_o may_v not_o be_v reckon_v any_o sign_n of_o disrespect_n that_o in_o my_o zeal_n for_o the_o service_n of_o god_n i_o to_o be_v uniform_a in_o their_o practice_n in_o these_o matter_n and_o that_o they_o will_v all_o thorough_a study_n the_o rubric_n and_o agree_v together_o in_o what_o case_n they_o may_v be_v excuse_v from_o the_o strict_a observance_n of_o such_o thing_n which_o many_o constant_o omit_v and_o other_o very_o often_o and_o let_v the_o people_n know_v it_o that_o we_o may_v not_o think_v it_o proceed_v from_o condemn_v themselves_o of_o do_v amiss_o in_o their_o promise_n to_o observe_v all_o and_o every_o thing_n from_o difference_n of_o judgement_n about_o the_o lawfulness_n of_o such_o thing_n or_o the_o contempt_n of_o public_a order_n and_o in_o what_o case_n we_o may_v expect_v it_o and_o in_o what_o not_o and_o i_o think_v if_o the_o minister_n of_o this_o city_n do_v
