many_o be_v for_o if_o child_n have_v as_o little_a opposition_n as_o any_o and_o less_o than_o some_o than_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v true_a for_o where_o less_o opposition_n against_o a_o thing_n be_v there_o be_v less_o trouble_n to_o receive_v it_o for_o they_o be_v contrary_a for_o where_o less_o opposition_n be_v there_o be_v a_o great_a disposition_n to_o receive_v it_o but_o that_o child_n do_v as_o little_o oppose_v grace_n as_o any_o man_n of_o year_n all_o opposition_n come_v from_o the_o sin_n of_o adam_n and_o original_a sin_n come_v from_o that_o and_o here_o we_o see_v all_o be_v equal_a in_o man_n of_o year_n and_o child_n and_o this_o be_v the_o first_o kind_n of_o opposition_n 2_o sort_v of_o opposition_n arise_v from_o sinful_a habit_n and_o this_o come_v by_o actual_a sin_n and_o by_o this_o we_o come_v to_o be_v more_o self-confident_a and_o all_o these_o infant_n be_v free_a of_o a_o man_n that_o have_v live_v many_o year_n in_o sin_n be_v come_v to_o be_v habituate_v in_o sin_n as_o a_o man_n that_o dote_v upon_o the_o world_n get_v a_o habit_n of_o covetousness_n and_o a_o man_n get_v a_o habit_n of_o forwardness_n these_o infant_n be_v free_v from_o act_v 7.28_o will_v thou_o kill_v i_o &_o c_o and_o act_n 18.6_o and_o when_o they_o resist_v and_o blaspheme_v etc._n etc._n child_n be_v dead_a in_o sin_n but_o some_o man_n be_v twice_o any_o man_n the_o place_n in_o judas_n be_v speak_v against_o false_a prophet_n they_o be_v twice_o dead_a they_o be_v dead_a by_o original_a sin_n &_o actual_a sin_n there_o be_v a_o sort_n that_o work_v upon_o infant_n that_o there_o be_v a_o easiness_n in_o this_o kind_n the_o 3_o proposition_n believe_v parent_n when_o they_o enter_v into_o a_o visible_a covenant_n to_o walk_v in_o god_n way_n they_o enter_v not_o for_o themselves_o alone_o but_o for_o all_o that_o come_v of_o they_o and_o god_n do_v engage_v himself_o by_o their_o mean_n to_o work_v grace_n in_o their_o heart_n as_o he_o see_v fit_a he_o count_v they_o to_o have_v federall_a holiness_n god_n accept_v of_o both_o and_o he_o will_v do_v good_a to_o they_o as_o he_o see_v fit_a in_o this_o proposition_n there_o be_v four_o thing_n to_o be_v consider_v 1_o believe_v parent_n enter_v into_o a_o visible_a covenant_n for_o themselves_o and_o their_o posterity_n 2_o god_n expect_v it_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o they_o both_o 3_o god_n engage_v himself_o to_o use_v they_o as_o instrument_n to_o do_v good_a to_o they_o as_o he_o see_v fit_a god_n will_v give_v grace_n to_o his_o child_n he_o will_v use_v they_o to_o his_o own_o mind_n god_n will_v use_v they_o as_o instrument_n but_o he_o will_v do_v they_o good_a as_o he_o see_v fit_a not_o that_o parent_n can_v give_v grace_n or_o work_v grace_n in_o their_o child_n and_o therefore_o speak_v not_o so_o for_o that_o be_v as_o if_o when_o god_n work_v upon_o the_o heart_n by_o the_o preach_n of_o the_o word_n you_o shall_v say_v the_o minister_n give_v grace_n 4_o god_n account_n child_n as_o have_v federall_a holiness_n 1_o when_o believe_v parent_n enter_v into_o a_o visible_a covenant_n they_o do_v enter_v into_o it_o for_o themselves_o and_o child_n but_o they_o must_v enter_v into_o a_o visible_a covenant_n the_o reason_n of_o it_o be_v because_o communication_n of_o they_o that_o do_v so_o enter_v into_o covenant_n do_v in_o reason_n belong_v to_o they_o that_o be_v in_o a_o community_n of_o other_o according_a to_o rational_a charity_n because_o god_n give_v the_o privilege_n of_o his_o holy_a thing_n to_o a_o community_n of_o man_n and_o they_o must_v judge_v according_a to_o a_o rule_n of_o charity_n and_o pass_v sentence_n as_o thing_n appear_v according_a to_o that_o rule_n for_o if_o it_o be_v leave_v to_o every_o private_a man_n to_o judge_v that_o every_o man_n may_v judge_v himself_o fit_a and_o be_v his_o own_o judge_n to_o partake_v of_o the_o ordinance_n than_o these_o two_o evil_n will_v follow_v 1_o a_o abuse_n and_o profane_v god_n holy_a thing_n for_o he_o will_v carve_v all_o
