rise_v out_o of_o it_o with_o heavenly_a and_o spiritual_a joy_n to_o which_o end_n serve_v all_o these_o commandment_n so_o thick_a as_o we_o say_v and_o threefold_a which_o be_v all_o idle_a and_o to_o no_o purpose_n if_o their_o life_n be_v still_o to_o be_v lead_v in_o a_o lumpish_a and_o sour_a manner_n here_o therefore_o i_o will_v advise_v such_o as_o fear_n god_n to_o look_v to_o two_o break_a heart_n we_o tune_v our_o harp_n and_o musical_a instrument_n to_o sweet_a music_n by_o wrest_v the_o string_n neither_o must_v we_o as_o we_o be_v too_o ready_a to_o conceive_v these_o two_o as_o enemy_n destroy_v but_o rather_o as_o constitutive_a and_o conserve_n cause_n one_o of_o another_o then_o second_o let_v god_n people_n be_v advise_v to_o look_v into_o their_o privilege_n and_o his_o saint_n and_o that_o for_o these_o cause_n first_o that_o they_o may_v yield_v obedience_n to_o god_n commandment_n both_o here_o and_o elsewhere_o second_o manifest_a the_o presence_n of_o the_o spirit_n in_o their_o heart_n who_o bring_v with_o he_o peace_n and_o joy_n and_o settle_v the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o everliving_a god_n in_o the_o heart_n which_o consist_v in_o these_o three_o that_o they_o may_v not_o only_o take_v away_o this_o scandal_n which_o satan_n and_o the_o wicked_a make_v advantage_n of_o but_o also_o encourage_v other_o to_o get_v part_n in_o the_o same_o grace_n which_o keep_v they_o in_o a_o cheerful_a and_o constant_a course_n of_o welldoing_a when_o they_o see_v that_o no_o trouble_n nor_o affliction_n can_v interrupt_v their_o joy_n four_a without_o true_a joy_n we_o can_v never_o praise_v god_n hearty_o or_o serve_v he_o cheerful_o for_o no_o joy_n in_o god_n none_o in_o his_o ordinance_n none_o in_o our_o duty_n of_o either_o of_o than_o they_o shall_v not_o have_v it_o god_n himself_o will_v hide_v his_o face_n from_o they_o and_o they_o be_v trouble_v psal._n 104._o 2d_o so_o david_n in_o the_o 51._o psalm_n have_v by_o his_o be_v over_o it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o have_v grace_n another_o to_o feel_v grace_n one_o thing_n the_o life_n of_o faith_n another_o the_o life_n of_o sense_n four_o the_o godly_a be_v often_o too_o hasty_a and_o loath_a to_o stay_v their_o time_n of_o prepare_v to_o their_o glory_n this_o trouble_v they_o much_o that_o god_n delay_n they_o so_o long_o they_o fear_v he_o have_v utter_o forget_v they_o but_o he_o that_o believe_v make_v not_o haste_n and_o mark_v the_o just_a man_n his_o end_n be_v peace_n not_o always_o his_o beginning_n if_o god_n delay_v long_o yet_o he_o will_v come_v at_o last_o let_v thy_o faith_n grow_v in_o strength_n and_o thy_o joy_n shall_v be_v abundant_a thou_o shall_v not_o fear_v but_o that_o as_o in_o sampsons_n parable_n out_o of_o the_o eater_n godly_a life_n worth_n the_o take_n up_o and_o who_o to_o avoid_v the_o trouble_n of_o godly_a man_n refuse_v to_o partake_v in_o their_o joy_n which_o be_v so_o sure_a and_o sweet_a as_o that_o no_o affliction_n or_o sorrow_n can_v befall_v they_o in_o which_o they_o may_v not_o rejoice_v if_o it_o be_v not_o by_o their_o own_o default_n but_o let_v the_o godly_a themselves_o rejoice_v in_o their_o portion_n that_o god_n have_v sever_v they_o from_o the_o base_a brat_n and_o ismaels_n of_o the_o world_n who_o he_o send_v away_o with_o some_o gift_n but_o have_v bestow_v the_o peculiar_a livelihood_n of_o his_o own_o isaac_n upon_o they_o let_v they_o be_v glad_a in_o the_o evil_n they_o have_v escape_v in_o the_o good_a procure_v they_o within_z and_o without_o they_o here_o and_o
