word_n like_a to_o other_o in_o all_o thing_n except_o sin_n so_o that_o he_o may_v be_v just_o and_o in_o strict_a propriety_n of_o speech_n style_v the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n and_o well_o deserve_v that_o epithet_n which_o be_v often_o give_v he_o in_o scripture_n viz._n the_o son_n of_o man_n as_o also_o his_o action_n and_o suffering_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v as_o the_o action_n and_o suffering_n of_o a_o man._n we_o must_v not_o with_o the_o ancient_a heretic_n deny_v the_o humanity_n of_o jesus_n or_o fancy_n that_o all_o his_o action_n and_o suffering_n be_v only_o in_o appearance_n and_o no_o wise_a real_a for_o he_o do_v partake_v of_o the_o humane_a nature_n as_o much_o as_o any_o of_o we_o and_o be_v of_o the_o like_a innocent_a passion_n and_o infirmity_n with_o ourselves_o but_o then_o again_o lest_o we_o think_v mean_o of_o this_o man_n christ_n jesus_n lest_o we_o reckon_v no_o more_o of_o he_o than_o of_o other_o ordinary_a man_n we_o must_v remember_v respect_n of_o his_o godhead_n he_o be_v call_v the_o eternal_a son_n of_o god_n the_o only_o beget_v of_o god_n the_o father_n over_o all_o god_n bless_v for_o ever_o and_o as_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o manhood_n or_o humane_a nature_n he_o be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o man_n the_o son_n of_o david_n the_o seed_n of_o abraham_n and_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o woman_n so_o because_o of_o the_o intimate_a union_n and_o conjunction_n of_o these_o two_o nature_n into_o the_o one_o person_n of_o jesus_n christ_n he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v god_n manifest_v in_o the_o flesh_n the_o word_n make_v cheer_v up_o the_o spirit_n but_o none_o can_v give_v this_o ease_n but_o jesus_n who_o here_o promise_v it_o some_o philosopher_n have_v propose_v some_o antidote_n against_o affliction_n but_o for_o the_o most_o part_n they_o talk_v impertinent_o when_o they_o speak_v of_o the_o other_o three_o but_o as_o the_o great_a and_o true_a comfort_n under_o affliction_n come_v from_o jesus_n christ_n so_o it_o be_v he_o only_o who_o can_v satisfy_v the_o large_a crave_n of_o the_o soul_n who_o can_v take_v away_o the_o fear_n of_o death_n and_o the_o gild_n of_o sin_n and_o as_o he_o can_v so_o he_o will_v for_o he_o have_v promise_v it_o here_o come_v and_o i_o will_v give_v you_o rest_n this_o rest_n must_v certain_o imply_v a_o full_a and_o perfect_a ease_n of_o all_o misery_n which_o lie_v upon_o man_n for_o if_o all_o be_v not_o take_v away_o if_o any_o part_n of_o it_o do_v remain_v the_o soul_n can_v not_o be_v at_o rest_n now_o because_o the_o very_a news_n of_o rest_n be_v matter_n of_o comfort_n and_o it_o be_v yet_o more_o comfortable_a to_o be_v assure_v of_o it_o i_o will_v confirm_v this_o gracious_a and_o comfortable_a promise_n by_o other_o place_n of_o scripture_n and_o also_o show_v the_o reason_n why_o we_o may_v expect_v and_o look_v for_o rest_n from_o jesus_n with_o a_o respect_n to_o that_o fourfold_a misery_n which_o be_v upon_o we_o i_o will_v invert_v the_o order_n which_o be_v sin_n use_v in_o enumerate_v those_o burden_n we_o groan_v under_o and_o will_v take_v the_o last_o first_o because_o it_o be_v the_o great_a and_o that_o
